The GTA IV Snow Mod turns Liberty City into a Winter Wonderland! Roads, trees, rooftops, parks are now all covered in snow and rainfall is replaced with snowfall creating a whole new atmosphere for GTA IV. I've also installed some winter clothing for Niko to further increase immersion. All links to the mods used in this walkthrough can be found below.

Packie never figured out Niko was the one who killed his brothers.
In IV's beta, this mission originally took place at night.
Would have given it a good vibe, but still like how it went really dark and grey at the end during the funeral...got lucky there.
How do you know that
Derrick also died after GTA IV because during the events of GTA V in mission paleto score if you recruit packie as a gun man he mentions that derrick is also dead
It implies that killing Derrick is either the canon choice or he has died after the events of GTA IV and before the events of GTA V.
Given also that Derrick has a cutscene after his death and Francis doesn't, it is hinted that this very well might be the canon choice.

Too much of a gangster to be a cop, and too much of a cop to be a gangster. Nobody likes hypocrites.
I noticed when playing Gta Iv in this mission when Derrick dies, Niko doesnt sit next to Francis at the funeral and when Francis dies Niko sits next to Derrick.
Francis also looks at the roof when Niko walks by him, like wanting to deattach himself from his brother's killing
Mission like these really stand out in Gta IV and give it a tone you dont see in other Gta and man i love this game for it also 5:10 let the bastards burn.

I'm surprised that Derrick didn't snitch to packie that niko killed Francis because he ordered him to do it but he actually didn't because he knew his brother Gerald got taken by the cops so niko had to look after his family which is sad

Everyone said they killed Francis cause he was a whiny prick I kinda did it for the same reason too but also I have the cheat code “wanted down” cause if you don’t have it and kill Derrick Instead which is the true decision in the mission “blood brothers”
You can call Francis to clear your wanted level but mostly he won’t even answer the phone unless you date that girl from the internet “Kiki Jenkins a.k.a LAWCHICK”
She’ll clear the wanted level for you since she goes to Law school or some s.hit

Why did you killed Francis? He is better man than Derrick because he gives you 20000 dollars and + special ability _ clear wanted level 3 star and Derrick gives you nothing
Francis is not a better person, he's a scumbag. He claims that his brothers are no good and Derrick's the worst but in reality, Francis is much more worst than Derrick.
Derrick may be a snitch for ratting out Bucky and Aiden, but he would never rat out on Niko or his family. Family's important and Derrick knows that, that's why you don't choose to kill Derrick, but instead you choose kill Francis, because he's the worst of the McRearys.
