The voice for Vaughn is incredible, despite being AI, although I can't say the same for Joshua. It needs a little bit of work, but regardless, everything is peak. Can't wait for the full drop.
Just wanted to say, Childhood GTA Fan here! DUDE, This is a masterpiece and I really hope it becomes a Full Game type deal. The flawless transition from dialogue(which btw the dialogue is really selling the authenticity) to gameplay gives me chills and it feels like if a modern GTA game got released on the 04 engine. Yo that was sick,the AI voices sound good and the combat was expanded with Vice City Stories features and It has the potential to be one of the all time great San Andreas mods,It needs some late 80s cars,a lore explanation to why a cop would get a wanted level(unless he will go undercover),a reason for Crash to operate in San Fierro and Las Venturas,and some Colombian Cartel presence as they made Spank in Gta 3,and I hope yall elaborate on the other Families sets other the Grove Street(Seville Boulevard Families and Temple Drive Families) and add meele weapons from Vice City and Liberty City Stories(Hockey stick,screwdriver,hammer,etc) And Brice reminds me lf Victor Vance

I think Tenpenny and Pulaski were both laying low out in the country with their drug money, as CJ makes moves around the country. A WCTR report mentions how they masterminded a huge criminal organisation and disappeared as of Meat Business. Tenpenny returns after the heat has died down because he couldn’t just leave San Andreas, he’d be arrested in a different state because his case could be traced back to Smoke. Plus, Grove Street Families or Big Smoke’s crack empire would hunt him down. Tenpenny was impulsive to a fault but he was also very tenacious and almost killed Carl, Sweet and took Smoke’s money.
This mod along with GTA San Andreas Stories may pull me from gta online back to GTA san andreas. i hope you will release this mod as you imagined. cant wait for the full story. it looks very good

I like the story so far. Shows how human these gangsters can be and good job portraying it. A lot of gang members are struggling to get end's meet and everyone just tries to survive, by doing the only thing they know how. That's why C.R.A.S.H. was founded to help these people get off the streets and curbing the actual bad eggs.
This is amazingly faithful to the original vibe of the game world. I want to praise your work, the plot is interesting and the cutscenes are very good too, I was totally hypnotized by the plot and I liked the new function of grabbing the opponent to hit harder, and the sondtrack, this is important to feel like you are not playing another GTA mod but a fan-DLC or a fan-game. That said, I think it would be cool to change the game's trails, maybe put that classic orange from PS2's San Andreas, purple or blue to match the game's theme, it would give it a more unique look, just like the two Episodes From Liberty City has different trails from GTA4.
@membersonlymods trails are the on screen shaders and effects, pratically atmosphere filters that rockstar uses on their games For example, gta iv uses a brown shader, gtaiii uses a blue, vice city (ps2) pinky and san andreas (ps2) orange
I'm really impressed & the AI voices sound actually pretty authentic compared to others i seen, i really hope this gets released to play, this is coming from someone who been a die hard gamer for 45 years, & am usually pretty pessimistic about anything new or changing an original story, but you guys did this seamlessly

This is very well done, dialogue, story direction, mission lay out. I feel the only thing that throws me off is how clean/clear the voices are whereas original SA the tech to record voices was dated and the result sounded kinda telephone-like(from what i recall atleast), but thats a nitpick on my behalf, plus i dont expect yall to go out of the way to use that older tech or find it necessary to muffle the audio files Anyways, awesome mod keep it up !!
i agree, i did think the voices sounded way too clean. plus you need correct reverb and things like that for being indoors/outside/etc. but it's just a work in progress, that's the kind of thing they could address later on down the line.

this is probably the best implementation of AI voice i've heard yet in terms of modding. While it isn't great on the AI's side inflection wise it is still really good and better than listening to webcam mic voice overs. And the writer did a decent job on making stuff conversationally viable.

Hey guys (I don't know how many people work on the project hahaha), from this short video we can see there's A LOT of passion and effort behind this project, looks promising! I really hope "those guys with a yellow logo" don't screw you over. Some feedback, the AI voices didn't bother me at all, I just felt Brice's voice leans a bit too much into the satire side, however it isn't a dealbraker, just a point you might tweak and adjust a little. I hope to see more soon!
Idk if you already considered it or not, but it would be nice if you'll add a personal vehicle for Brice that would always respawn by his safehouse like in GTA 5
you've recreated the audio compression from the early 2000s games very good, the biggest downsides of the fanmade GTAs was the lack of voices so I knew that AI would be game changing a few years back when it was becoming mainstream!

Glad you enjoyed it but your point about SPANK is misguided. Drugs don’t just appear out of nowhere on a specific date: they go through years of development, testing and underground distribution before becoming widespread. The same would apply to SPANK in the GTA universe. By 2001, it’s a big deal in GTA III, but it’s completely plausible for it to have existed in smaller circles before that. Think about real-world drug trafficking: smuggling routes from South America and Mexico didn’t suddenly appear overnight. They evolved over decades. The same logic applies here. We took this creative liberty in an attempt to tie the 3D universe together a little more. We have written plausible reasons as to why SPANK is in San Andreas you'll just have to find out.

Glad you enjoyed it but your point about SPANK is misguided. Drugs don’t just appear out of nowhere on a specific date: they go through years of development, testing and underground distribution before becoming widespread. The same would apply to SPANK in the GTA universe. By 2001, it’s a big deal in GTA III, but it’s completely plausible for it to have existed in smaller circles before that.
Think about real-world drug trafficking: smuggling routes from South America and Mexico didn’t suddenly appear overnight. They evolved over decades. The same logic applies here. We took this creative liberty in an attempt to tie the 3D universe together a little more. We have written plausible reasons as to why SPANK is in San Andreas you'll just have to find out.
