You know, it´s still very bizzare: I am sitting in a town in Germany, I am living my daily life - college, houshold, etc. - and in the evening, I often watch your videos (I am very glad, that you started vlogging again). This ist quite strange to be watching a family I don´t know at all, that ist situated at the other end of the planet and to be starting to feel related to you, to those people, I just know from UA-cam: But watching you feels so natural, so good, it feels familiar and cosy! I really wanna say thank you for being this (strange) virtual friend (or relative) to me, you are a great family :-)
Yea, thanks Cory!! Watching your videos is like getting a daily video call from your big brother. You are like the cool brother who goofs around but really cares to see if I'm good. 🤸♂️🤳😜
Hey guys! Looks like you guys are feeling a bit better! Makes me happy. I love love love that you have taught your children too not be afraid of thunder and lightning. It's a beautiful thing. Thanks for being on here every day, makes me happy.
Cory, you are CHOOSING to be a stay-at-home dad. The problem is you are used to being the provider. But like many Americans right now, you are best serving your family, both in Tulsa and on the internet, by filming the life of a man who has been unexpectedly set adrift. This isn’t forever. But right now being a dad is where you are most needed. I am proud of you for taking the challenge. Being a parent is the most important job any of us could ever do. By staying with the kids, you are enabling Kristen to do her part as breadwinner to keep the family afloat. Many families have no jobs right now. But you know this. Start using that big lovable brain of yours to concentrate on your blessings...and the insanity of being a full time dad! That will lead to all kinds of inspiration when it is time to be a full-time creative person again. This is a gift for all of us right now, if we choose to see it that way. I cannot tell you how happy your videos are making me as I’m stuck in the middle of the city riding out this pandemic. Every life on this planet is affected. Be proud of your role as dad and You Tuber for the present. Sending you an old lady hug from Cincinnati. ❤️
You might not be able to publish your creativity at the moment Cory, but you are still being creative, by helping Chell & Atlas with their play, nurturing their creativity is still your creativity! Your an amazing dad keep up the good work! 💜
Be in the moment. Bee with your family. You have a large piece of property. Be like a farmer. A gentleman farmer. That was my dad. We just the 5 of us(mom, dad and 3 kids). All the animals. Love the thunderstorm
Think of it this way.....you're making beautiful memories for your kids. I just lost my Dad a month ago, so those precious memories are all I have left. I remember things from when I was Chell's age, so keep it up! You're doing great, Cory!
I am living in Vienna (Austria) and enjoy watching your videos since 2017. You seem to be such a smart and extremly sympathic person. I am sooo happy you started vlogging again. Thank you for sharing your (family) live to the community. Your family ist great and i am looking forward to seeing a lot of new vlogs from you.
Last Sunday we had tornados in Alabama. We had a cold front and then a warm front came in. We had 3 tornado warnings and we had to take cover. Be safe y’all!!
Stay safe and loving watching these posts from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. These videos are absolutely hilarious. I got to hand it to you for being the stay home dad and looking after your wonderful family. Good for you man.
What if your little spikes in temperature were trying to warn you about some tiny infection? I have killed off small infections by eating entire cloves of garlic and drinking fresh squeezed ginger juice (straight). Unless you were allergic to them or just downright hate them maybe you have nothing to lose. But it helped me. I am glad you feel better and the kids seem really happy today!
I am sooooo jealous! Storms always miss us, but I LOVE storms (I go to sleep listening to storms on UA-cam every night). I am also jelly about you being able to kick sickness so quickly. When I get a cold or flu (and I get them really often) I am usually ill for weeks. Loving the vlogs guys! Stay safe!
Your family is so very lucky to have you as a full time Dad. Think of what a great positive role model you are being for your children. Atlas is going to grow up to be a great dad and Chell is going to want the men that she meets to be decent people.
I know how your family feels! I’m *right on the edge* of tornado alley (me being in Weatherford Tx and Dallas is in tornado alley) Bless you and your beautiful family! ❤️❤️❤️
Looks like you're doing a good job being a stay at home dad! Its a tough job, I was a stay at home mom for 8 years to two kids 19 months apart. You need some serious energy! Being with kids doesn't make you lose creativity, it makes you more creative! Atlas is the best btw 😂
I hope Cory and Kristen fared well with the storm. It's been moving to the east and it's now here on the SC coast where I live. It's gonna be a long night.
Last month in Waxahachie,Texas there was a big storm at like 11:45pm, but there was no tornado watch/warning nor severe thunderstorm watch/warning. My dad was about to put on a brisket on the smoker outside but just before he came out of the room we heard a huge thunder that shook the car and made the car alarm go off. Me and my siblings were all scared. My dad came out to season the brisket and then we heard rain pounding on the window. My dad went outside and checked to see if anything was happening. He ran inside and said “get your brother!” (Because he was asleep) and then he got my mom and said “wake up we gotta take shelter!” He said he saw rotation and my dad always freaks out even if it’s a little windy during a storm lol! Turns out it was nothing really but hard rain and wind! Glad we are safe.💕
I’ve been waiting for this! 💚I know we share a love for storms ! And I knew you’d post about them. Thank you for sharing this, I look forward to seeing you guys often! Sending hugs and kisses!
OOOOk-lahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain, And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet, When the wind comes right behind the rain. OOOOk-lahoma, Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I, Sit alone and talk and watch a hawk makin' lazy circles in the sky.
I did see lightning hit a tree once up close. I was in my living room and was looking out the window at my neighbor's yard across the street. The lightning was pink almost. It was a tall oak tree and the bark exploded and flew in every direction, including well into my yard. Amazingly my cat Izzie who was also looking out the window didn't jump or run away, she just put her ears back and looked really mad for a second. I've also seen some huge hail - when I was a senior in high school I was driving home after play practice and the sky was very dark, but bright purple when the lightning flashed. This was followed by a tornado warning (with a confirmed tornado later east of where I was) and giant baseball and larger sized hail. It broke half the windows on the west side of the house and ruined our roof. If we'd had a less solid roof some of the hail might have gone all the way through. You don't want that, it was terrifying. (I live in Missouri)
This might be your new Alaska. Being a stay home dad might be awesome for your creativity. You will find yourself doing something great is this new chapter. Whole lot to explore. Stay at home parent it’s a hard work, it’s full of ups and downs and that’s what brings creative content for a lot of people.
Stay safe and well! Oh, btw , grandma's secret: for hoter peppers work a bit of epsom salt into the soil. Sometimes even creativity needs a rest. Let it have a nap and try not to worry. Be in the moment. It's still there, it's just tired. STAY SAFE AND BE HAPPY.
Ummmmm ... at 7:12 onward ... why the plastic wrap on the stairwell uprights? I usually can figure out reasons for stuff like that, but my brain is currently not firing on all cylinders...
Its good to know you are feeling better Cory. Just over a week ago I had a similar scary experience when I woke up in bed with a bad headache and the right side of my face was quite hot and had a stuffy, painful right ear and a bit of a dry throat. I also had a nightmare about being in a hospital and opening a door to find 3 tigers in the room and wanting to leave as quickly as possible but couldn't wake myself up. Phoned my doctor and told him and he said I could just have an ear or sinus infection so was given antibiotics which cleared up the pain and heat I was feeling then ear spray to use and the pain and headaches eased after 3 days and the stuffy pressure in my ear is almost gone, thank goodness. I haven't been near anyone in weeks so knew it probably wasn't anything serious but you can't help feeling a bit worried when that happens. Looking at the hail/rain you are getting, I wish it would rain here in Northern Ireland. It has been over a month I think since we last had rain and its really dry here and I have to go out often and water my plants and grass in my garden to stop them drying out too much. I do love thunderstorms though, especially lightening but we don't get them that much here. A friend of mine told me about someone he knew back in the mid 2000s who had just got a brand new 70" TV, quite expensive for the time and he had to knock out part of a wall to put it in as it wasn't thin like modern TVs are. He didn't have a surge protector and lightning hit his house one day and destroyed the TV.
Over in Oklahoma they've been getting a lot of storms lately and you be safe all of you this virus is not so good everybody's getting sick and now cats are getting sick too so keep an eye on your cats okay take care
Check out Pecos Hank youtube channel for the very best tornado footage hands down. Hank is not only the best professional storm chaser but he's also an amazing musician.
We had really bad weather here in South Alabama Sunday night. Worst power outage in our town since Opal in '95. I HATE bad weather. Lightning ran in our house when I was 17, jumped an outlet and caught my bed on fire. I also lived in a nearby town when Enterprise was hit by the massive tornado and killed several people in a school that took a hit. I spent that storm system under a coffee table. Strangely enough I'm more calm now since I'm also trying to scare my toddler or I inadvertently give her a fear of storms. But inside I'm quaking!
That actually did happen to us though because I'm just to the east of where I live in my state we actually had some tornadoes just to the east of us like tornado warnings but not like full tornadoes it was basically just rotation like we weren't really issued in the tornado watch area but it was pretty cold for us to be issued in it
@LiveEachDay you should unplug all appliances during the thunderstorm or lightning outside, in finland that is normal to unplug all of appliances during thunderstorm and lightning and vacation.
Our house got struck by lightning during a freak winter storm a week before Christmas in 2016. Unbeknownst to us, it caused a spark in our wiring. I woke at 3 am to the smell of smoke. We ended up in a motel for 8 weeks because it caused a house fire. Thankfully it was only smoldering when we found it. It could have been a lot worse.
Enjoyed your video, and understand that you recently moved to Oklahoma from Alaska. Hope that you can adjust to the somewhat "quick silver" weather that Oklahoma has. I believe the best thing that Oklahoma has to offer is the people that live there. I grew up in central Oklahoma, and I believe the storms have gotten worse due to global warming. The destruction is much worse than I remember as a kid, not just your simple barn blowers. I will say this though, please get a storm cellar installed ASAP, my brother had one installed in the floor of his garage for about $5,000, money well spent. I have been living in south Texas where the threat of tornadoes is relatively low, but hail and flood threat is very high in a storm front. I also caught your video of your road trip to Dripping Springs, and the great thing about the Tulsa area is all the beautiful lakes and parks Grand Lake, Tenkiller, and Keystone. The wildlife Dept. feed Blue River with trout, if you like to do trout fishing, I believe you have to have a special fishing permit for Blue River. One Sights in particular is the Skyline Drive from Talequah, OK to Mena, Arkansas, best seen in the fall when the foilage turns its beautiful colors, lots of walking and hiking trails. Take care and God Bless.
I have lived here almost all my life and I've never seen hail bigger than quarter sized. Although I've seen pictures of the hail they get in Texas and it is HUGE!!!!!!

I love the sound of children’s laughter. I had a rough day and this made me smile

I still miss Cory's goodbyes They feel like hugs from an old friend
What happened
Hey
❤️❤️❤️ I’m so happy to be watching your videos again! Your channel seriously makes me so happy!
I so miss OKC thunderstorms! Transplanted to Seattle but really home sick.

Yea I love the thunderstorms!!!
Tornados took out my family’s fence in 2013, but compared to what could’ve been we were pretty grateful.
My thoughts exactly, Like I always say. Things like fences, cars and buildings can always be replaced. But people can't be. And that is the truth.
the good part of that being a stay at home day, is the kids. You have a pair of active, imaginative, bundles of mischief. Love them.
Yea the hail misses me too
You should not be a weatherman, you should be the action reporter mr safety 😄
Think of it this way.....you're making beautiful memories for your kids. I just lost my Dad a month ago, so those precious memories are all I have left. I remember things from when I was Chell's age, so keep it up! You're doing great, Cory!
I love the way it looks when it rains in your vlogs. It’s so green! It will be ok Cory. Just breath in and breath out.

Thunderstorms are probably the only thing I miss from Oklahoma. I moved up to Alaska from Oklahoma 21 years ago and this is my forever home.
I missed you all so much. Just caught your Instagram and saw you all were back. Not going to lie, I got super excited!!!
I am sooooo jealous! Storms always miss us, but I LOVE storms (I go to sleep listening to storms on UA-cam every night). I am also jelly about you being able to kick sickness so quickly. When I get a cold or flu (and I get them really often) I am usually ill for weeks.

Stay safe guys! Love you all so much! Cory I think was a migraine or tension headache brought on by stress.
Cory and Kristen you and your family stay safe
I hope Cory and Kristen fared well with the storm. It's been moving to the east and it's now here on the SC coast where I live. It's gonna be a long night.
Keep being the best you can be. You and Kristin are really an inspiration for me :)

Watching Atlas run is the cutest!😊❤
It hailed here in Anchorage last summer. First time in thirteen years.
I'm glad you're feeling better physically and mentally.
This is the cutest family i swearr!

Definitely watching Oklahoma tonight. Thanks friend!
Keep your eyes on
Sounds like you are getting better which is really good
Do you get a lot of tornadoes
I really enjoy your videos...so calm and relaxing
It still blows my mind how much Chell and Atlas have grown!
I know, right? What the heck? Oklahoma must put local minerals in their milk. 🤔 probably.
Atlas is growing up so fast, man where does the time go?
I enjoy the rain too, not so much the bad stuff that comes with it...stay safe guys
Stay safe.
We are enjoying your live streams in the evening, Kristen and Cory! Sorry that others aren’t but their loss! 😜
It’s that time of year again
Atlas laughing made me laugh so hard. Such a cute little stinker xD
I've never seen a tornado as I live in England, so I always find your videos so interesting!
Atlas is getting so big! Both kids are!

Glad you're gonna beat off the stress!

A temprature inversion. Also great for 2 meter radio.
I live in Dallas! The storms just missed us!
Oh my goodness can i please have that recipe?! :) glad you guys are safe!hugs Cory!

Bruhh no way Mr Safety is in my neck of the woods. Video Randomly shows up on my feed and it’s in Oklahoma! Keep up the videos man!
Atlas at the end 😂😍

Storms are getting more powerful as the magnetosphere weakens12:37 😆
What happened to the bunnies at the flagpole?
The temperature drops always make me nervous
Another thing, your severe thunderstorm warnings are way different from mine 😂
That actually did happen to us though because I'm just to the east of where I live in my state we actually had some tornadoes just to the east of us like tornado warnings but not like full tornadoes it was basically just rotation like we weren't really issued in the tornado watch area but it was pretty cold for us to be issued in it
What weather app do you guys use?
We are monitoring this storm ☔️
My 5yo loves standing outside (under cover) during hail. Then when it stops he ends up eating a few pieces, haha!
Yesterday huh! It did look a bit scary for a bit.
The frogs here are the best.....
@LiveEachDay you should unplug all appliances during the thunderstorm or lightning outside, in finland that is normal to unplug all of appliances during thunderstorm and lightning and vacation.
11:12 shes using the storm radar app same as me
Wait, your back?!

Just watched this vid hope the kids are doing well! Keep you hands clean and have a fun day ( even tho your in a tornado warning lol)

Love your channel ❤️😍
i feel thunderstorms to the core of my soul and when they leave i feel like ive lost a friend-weird i know
We just had a tornado come through my county in Ga.
I have lived here almost all my life and I've never seen hail bigger than quarter sized. Although I've seen pictures of the hail they get in Texas and it is HUGE!!!!!!
I still don't understand why underground or earth berm house aren't more common in tornado alley. Be safe, be well!
Hugs to you Cory
Unplug all electrical appliances especially the computer 😮
You should go to an nws skywarn class
We can hear a Lightning now!
Whole House Surge protection should be installed on all houses that are in areas that have lighting strike issues
OMG THE STORM ⛈
How come you guys don’t use lightning rods?
