Do you make kilties in the shape of the ace of spades?
How long before you start your boot business ?

"Something Heavy (Your Mom)" just about caused me to spit beer all over my monitor! 🤣🤣🤣
Moc toes are definitely not my cup of tea, but saying what you did here was marvelous, is just an understatement!
But the moc toe boot is so iconic
I’m a bartender at a wine cafe. I cut and stitched a sheath on my Doc Martens for a wine key 👌 big inspiration from Ms Rose
That’s awesome
Kudos to you guys for doing this project and helping someone in need. The hand cobbling was amazing to watch.
I’ve been trying to find boots like this online so I can show my cobbler what I want and you just saved my boot life. Thank you so much amazing.
Those are some of the nicest boots I've ever seen 🙂 incredible restoration and amazing skill
I am blown away by this. Hand stitching!
I wasn't aware there was so much time and effort that actually went into restoring until this
I have never wanted a pair of these but goddamn that's gorgeous. For such a good cause too.
I hope he gets to use them for a long time - beautiful work. Good luck, Boot Hunter.
What an improvement! I find the wedge soles horrendous to look at. This looks nice.
Yo! So excited to see what this channel gets into! Already loving the first two builds! (Lovin the thorough tool/material descriptions too, been good seeing yall grow/change year after year!)
Weston Kay, you are an artisan craftsman. I envy you. I feel like I’ve wasted my life and should of done something creative with my hands? It’s so satisfying seeing what you do from start to finish. Thank you for this vid
I feel bad for this guys fingers and hands after all the stich work. Great job. Hope homie is doing alright, from one cancer fighter to another.
That is a nice restore of a good pair of boots. One thing I have never understood is the white sole on a work boot. In a factory they pick up varying degrees of grime. They also pick up metal chips worse than the lug style you put on. When you were on a farm with livestock, they are a green after cleaning a barn that well everyone knows that isn't from mowing grass. Even with the lugs which take needlenose pliers every day to pull the steel chips from if you are on some jobs in construction you can't clean the lugs quickly so you either track mud or you take them on and off which wastes a lot of time.
Boots turned out super sweet!
The time lapse of hammering the welt holes...
taptaptaptaptaptaptappitytaptap
Definitely prefer the wedge personally, but these turned out great. All that hand-stitching is bananas!
I like the soles he used. To each his own I guess. 👍
The amount of focused work here is wild, messing up on crucial steps would set you back immensely.
Neat.
Absolutely killed it in this video..... Great set of boots. I will go as far as saying they are better now than the were the the day he bought them ...
wow. the love and care you put into that is so apparent. bravo man, bravo. those turned out freaking beautiful. and for such a good cause.
all seriousness aside, damn, i want to buy a pair of nice boots and wear them out just to send them to you to do this! joking/not joking. haha.
Those are some beautiful boots.
Man I loved watching this.
Perfect boots! The correct height, the right eye and hooks, and the right kind of sole and must have heel. I’ve worn similar ones almost every day for over 50 years, thirty as a land surveyor that is on his feet walking in every type of ground. Sadly they are almost impossible to find now and definitely not of that quality! Envious
Everything new happening with the rose anvil company is very exciting
Jaw dropping beauties! Really loved the way you went all out! Thanks for sharing and we wish Boot Hunter the very best
Those are Gorgeous!
The new soles look absolutely amazing. Im stunned, excellent work here.
I love how the outsole and midsole and heel stack look like sedementary rock layers, cant wait for more builds
I love that look. What I don’t love is when cheap boot makers try to fake it.
Gorgeous.
Gorgeous overhaul! Well done lads!
Beautiful.
All the support in the world for boot hunter
kinda liked the less agressive before look more than the after look. no doubt they are in better shape after repair though
This was such an enjoyable watch. The vibe the asmr and the music playing in the background created was immaculate!
Fantastic video! So calming and satisfying to watch. Keep'em coming!
What a special video, this is awesome of you Weston! I'm really digging the new channel!
Thanks, learned a lot
It’s nice that you shared the info on the materials used
when my 8” moc toes needed a resole I had the cobbler put on a honey vibram full lug. big fan of the change
NICE looking boot!!
So satisfying to watch. 🙌🏼
I absolutely loved this and want so much more. Give me ALLLL of the builds.
"Something heavy (your mom)" LMAOOO
Now this is a rebuild I can appreciate! These look great! I did sorta love the patina on these old boots, though.
Those look incredible. Love the cause too.
Wow, Those Boots Look Fantastic, Well Done!
Beautiful!
loving this
Those look great, and this was satisfying to watch. Best of luck to your friend in his fight!
Beautiful! Well done.
You should turn a cowboy boot into an engineer boot
Love this channel!! Excited for more.
I liked your attention to detail….you showed this can be 100% done by hand, loved the “pop up video” information on what used/price/company sold by” info…
Amazing work
Excellent work, by a master craftsman for a good cause. Good to go for another 10,000 miles!
Great build and video! Time to get that Landis K running!
Awesome work. 👍
Those boots are gosh darn beautiful. I want a upgrade like that to my Perry’s.
Ottimo lavoro, gli stivali sembrano stupendi. 💯🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍾
Got the EXACT same thing done to my Billy boots. I hate that damn wedge sole. Looks great!
I’d never heard of this guy so ty for bringing it to my attention - I’ll donate what I can
Excellent work.
Exceptional work Wes!👌🏼
Way to help out a person that is going through a very rough part of his life. It's nice to see you have another channel to enjoy. These Red Wings look like my 4 yrs old Danner Bull Run Moc toes...You make it look so easy in rebuilding these boots. Which by the way, are my favorite type of boot.. Did you get married, this is the first video with you supporting a ring,,,? Thanks again for making another good video...Adding the big lug Vibram was a nice touch..
You can see on some shots that cobbler is a different guy
These look so sick
Amazing! Makes me look forward to wearing out my boots. Lol.
Wow I remember following him on IG a few years back, sad to hear the news.
Love this!!! and keep up the content for Charities. And like ive said. Its yall who need to be the one to start a non profit towards Boot Education, Scolarships for getting trained, Fixing sizing, and a Boots yearly event. Keep up the great work.
Definitely a big improvement what a work of art. Great craftsmanship would love me a pair that looks and last a long time .
Praying for him
Get that boy a Landis! Holy crap that hand sewing had to be brutal on your mittens. I can't imagine trying to pull thread through thick vegetan leather AND a rubber slip sole. Crazy good job though. Very hand-done, but in the best way. Bravo gentlemen.
Great video.
wow great job
Killed it 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice work. One thing I do differently is to use acetone to remove that funky painted on finish from the welt to get it down to bare leather so I can dye it before stitching it on. The end result is 👍🏻.
720p max on this beautiful video 😭
Could you do a Ross recommendation? On boots and shoes, you rate as good quality and cost. Love both of your channels. Hard to keep up or find which one, when you recommend a quality boot and shoe. Maybe it is on your website, or a special link in show notes. Keep up the cool work.
lol at the 'yo mama' joke :D (in 05:07)
Holy Moly!
So cool
I'm more interested in where and how much that cool little drum sanding attachment was for the bench grinder!!
Damn Weston! You look like a premier artisan straight out of Europe! Too bad you tied that f-ing granny knot! 😂
Very nice
It would be funn to upgrade pair of regular Alden Indi boots to what you think it should be and to see them aging next to the stock pair
awwesome TY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice. Very Nice!
The problem with adding all that sole is the weight, mock toes are nice and light, my iron Rangers are heavy and I don’t wear them anymore.
Resole the Thursday Logger Boot with a leather insole and make it a 100% quality boot... how the manufacturer should do it!
You are only missing a Landis Goodyear Welt stitching machine. Hand stitching is a lost art with making boots. Excellent job. You would give Steve at Bedo's a run for his money reconstructing boots. Love the way you clean and condition the uppers. I did notice you used the water-based contact cement in some cases. Good call. Out soul needs Master's CC. Other areas are fine for water based cc.
Thank god you told us where to get a flathead screwdriver! /PANIC
you are awesome bro keep it up big fan form Nepal 🇳🇵
why do you have 3 separate channels for this stuff? I think I like this and your Rose Anvil 2 content even more than the main one, and I only found out about it now
This is a left field question but is there any chance you could help me find out how I can order the exact wedge soles that Carolina use on their wedge sole boots? I want to resole another brand with them because so far I am absolutely blown away by how well they're wearing and how soft they feel and I'd love to have these exact soles on all my wedge sole boots.
bedo's does use non-natural material to support the binding not linen
I’m sitting here thinking “I might try to do this..”
Then I thought about finding where I can buy leather & instantly quit.
Those look better than they did from the factory.
Hoping for RW x rose anvil
Just think, he had to do all this not once but twice!
Try double midsole with crêpe … nice
