Outstanding effort. A superb model of an iconic fighter. And a breath of fresh air to see it representing the Turkish airforce instead of the ubiquitous Luftwaffe or U.S. airforce. 👍
Great editing, nice relaxing music, and really impressive modeling. I especially enjoyed your detailing and brushwork, you produced amazing results. I hope you produce many more videos like these!
incredible... amazing... stunning build! at the beggining I follow your page... I'm glad that you are making videos of your builts! cheers from Argentina...
Absolutely amazing work 👏 I thought I had an idea of what the best was in modelling but then UA-cam sends me this masterpiece. Was an excellent experience both the quality of your model and the quality of your editing.
thanks. i tried them years ago. sometime ( maybe depend on the brand) they include some oil to prevent drying. And my worked a lot to remove the oil from the model. then i start to use re-usable adhesive like Uhu Tac or Tack It. So i am afraid of use them again🙂 thanks for advlse 👍👍👍
Muhteşem olmuş Uğur hocam. Harika bir çalışma. Hayran kalmamak elde değil. Senelerdir çalışmalarınızı takip ediyorum (Blog'unuz dahil :) ). Her biri birbirinden güzel eserler.

Amazing !! How does the weathering go from 'shiny' to mat, is it just the drying process ? I stopped building when I was 16, now 40 years alter I want to pick it up again, but wow the modelling world became very professional !
Thanks. Yes there is no squadron numbers on the tail. Just the serial numbers. It start with 6. But on the nose, first number is squadron number and the following numbers are last 3 digit of the serial number. So i just copied the real one.
Amazing work! I live the eefect with the very thinly brushed acrylics. What color did you use for the underside? Some people say they were aluminum on the bottom but from looking at pictures it looks grey.
Thanks! Yes, under body color of some F-104s are metalic, example: German F-104s. But Italian colors are not. They use Same underside color as SEA Camo, which is Cam.Grey FS36622. This is ex- italian F-104.
Thanks again Ugur, another masterclass and lots to take in. Unlike Stephen below I am not going to quit, I won’t ever be this good but I will be just that little bit better. And better works! Was that blue tack you were using to mask or plasticine. I assume blue tack. Cheers
Mesela ilk gelen italyan F-104leri üzerlerinde full stencil dolu. Ama hizmetden çıkmaya yakın olan italyan F-104leri incelendiğinde hiç stencil kalmamış, hepsi boyanmış, sadece ana ikaz işaretleri kalmış vesaire. Kısaca tavsiyem, her F-104 modelini kendi başına incelemek gerekir, çünkü genel bir standart bulamadım. En azından benim çözebildiğim bu.
Beautiful!!! I am shortly going to attempt a similar build w/ the Kinetic F-104A/C; at one point in your "part 2" video you brushed on a thinned dark medium. Was that simply a black wash, or something else? Also, where did you find the panel placards? I have the Black Dog Resin sets but have not found placards for the panels as you have shown on yours.
Even though I don't understand exactly what point you are talking about, I generally use thinned dark colored acrylic instead of wash. As placard decal, I use decals that I find appropriate left over from various kits, and ANYZ decal company produces placards just for this purpose.
Thanks for the reply and the info about ANYZ. Oh, and I do actually have one more question: is that basic modeling putty you use to keep things in place while test fitting, and when you attach the hatches for the paint job? It looks sticky, but it all came out. I'm interested in that stuff. @@ugurkenel

Awesome! What is the technique for airbrushing the acrylics???
There is no special technique for that. I just using more water while using acrylic. I mean at least %50 percent water/ paint mix.

do you have some recommandation of website when we can find picture of the cockpit ?
i'm trying to detailling the frame of the canopy of the 72th scale of the F104

Uğur Bey elinize sağlık. Bir sorum olacaktı. 18:06 'da yaptığınız işlem öncesi modele vernik uyguladınız mı?
Hayır, direk airbrush sonrası boya üzerine fırça ile boyama işlemidir. Sadece boya çok çok ince, varla yok arası. Filtering de deniyor bu işleme. Uzun sürüyor. Hatasının geri dönüşümü yok. Ama çok basit. Sadece uçağın kendi boyasını sulandırarak yapıyorum.

Which fine brushes do you use at the beginning of the video please.
Not special brand, very very cheap brush. I even dont remember the name🙂. I think it was “ponart” but tip number 5/0 or thinner one.

Superb assembly, but 1 remark, you reversed the 9 in 6 on the 1st marking of the empennage compared to the fuselage
Thanks. Yes there is no squadron numbers on the tail. Just the serial numbers. It start with 6. But on the nose, first number is squadron number and the following numbers are last 3 digit of the serial number. So i just copied the real one.
It's an incredible detail. I need to ask you, where can I get the radar dome supporting it

What do you use for the aging, is that just some chalk or charcoal or something?
It is called as “dry pastel”. I apply it as last step, because it is very sensitive, it is better not touch with bare hand.
Masterpiece…..
Thank you
Hey, what did you use to make the wing egde protection?
Metal or aluminum tape, i dont know the exact name of it. They use it as isolation material. Than painted red.
@@ugurkenel thanks. I'll try it out. Finally got a starfigther this weekend, after wanting to build one when your video came out😅. Great work

Hi Ugur,
Amazing build. How did you like the fit of the kit parts? any alignment issues?
fading rivets, etc.?
Thank you
This model was normal. No big problem. If i rate it i would give 90/100 positive.
nice work. What did you use at 16:49? this white "play dough" I search something like this.
Thanks. It is “reusable adhesieve”, it is called as “ Blu-tack or Tack-it or Uhu-tack”

Hocam 18. Dakikalarda, yanılmıyorsam cok az miktarda boya ile wash yapiyorsun
Wash yok. Sadece sulandırılmış değişik renklerde boya. Filtering de denebilir. Aynı teknik.

Many thanks.
In the right direction. As if it were waving in the wind. Star towards to tail.
