Purchased the 511 Design black powder coat grill guard for my JD 2038R. After a season with grapple and loader, the 511 guard 100% guarded my tractor. Saved me more than once. Plus everyone says the guard looks great. And I AGREE!

I have this grill guard on my M4. Incredibly well made and easy to install. From the scrapes and scratches easy to tell its saved me multiple times.

Just went to their site and ordered the tie down brackets for my L6060. I ordered the grill guard and installed last month. I wasn’t aware of the tie down brackets till this video.

I bought the grill black guard for my 1025R. If I hadn't seen your video on how they looked I would of bought the green one. I am so glad I purchased the black one it looks rugged and fits great, Quality workmanship. I like the look of the hydraulic guards, the magnetic mirrors could be used as a teaching element to help new folk see how full they are loading their buckets.

For $65 I just had my local welding shop weld in some expanded steel. And painted it with kubot original paint. Looks great. Cheap!

May want to consider an extension to the top of the grill guard to protect the hood. I’ve had chunks come over the back of the bucket and land on the hood. Great looking products!

While it might be a good idea to protect the hood from damage my main concern is more of the radiator and the undeside and the pto as well as the hydraulics
I love mine from 511 I swear it has saved me buying a new radiator a few times highly recommended this product

Great video. Definitely going to get those tie downs at some point after seeing those, as every time the dealer takes my tractor in they start throwing chains all over everything and scratching everything up on my L6060HSTC. Would be nice to see something similar for the rear of the tractor.

The 511 stuff is nice. I have a grill guard for my MX. Sure would love some ROPS mounts to attach a small toolbox, or chainsaw. The light mounts are oriented wrong to double as a box holder. The MX guard does require drilling.
I realize that companies like 511 will eventually get to us Kioti (and other "value" brand) owners. But keep in mind that we saved so much money on our initial purchases that we have money for accessories. A nice black textured grill guard would look great on my CK.

I welded rolled expanded steel on my Precision grapple to prevent brush from poking through the gaping holes in the framing. My only problem with the commercially available grille guards is the shading of the headlights. Nice to see the locally sourced product. How about that 52 Bar-B-Que in Chelsea?
Nice! Yeah, headlights don't seem to do much good behind a bucket anyways. Fender lights are a bit better, but stuff up on the ROPS seems to be the ticket!

It would be nice if the manufacturer took all this into consideration and simply built a tractor factory prepared and shipped to do the work of a tractor. Go figure

@@GoodWorksTractors exac what I thought. Also, not everyone runs a grapple or does brush or demo with tractor - which doesn’t need a lot of this stuff - or you can try and be more careful--good luck with that!
Do you realize the variety of ways tractors are used makes that pretty much impossible? Tractor prepped for every possible work environment would be insanely expensive.
Your definition of "work of a tractor " vs the next guys can differ greatly... hence why so many options and upgrades are out there for different applications

I am working on low profile Tail lights. The factory ones stick back way too far and are in the way when hooking up the PTO with a quick hitch. Also on the L2501 if your wuick hitch levers are up it is possible to hit the lights when lifting the 3 point. Might be something for 5 11 to look at.
They are nice, I would love to have one for my tractor. When is 5 Eleven Designz going to have any grill guards for Massey Ferguson or other brands. Seems like they are only focusing on John Deere and Kubota.
Send Justin an email. IIRC, he started with JD and then added Kubota after having requests for them. If no one says "I want a MF grill guard", he's for sure not going to make one :)
There's a lot of time and effort that goes into developing a product. Part of the decision to make that investment is based on the potential return. The potential return coming from John Deere and Kubota customers is more than every other brand combined. That's not a knock on any other brand, just the reality of owning a business. I know Justin would love to get guards for those other brands, but there's only so much time in the day. Definitely could happen down the road!

I wish we could get these products in Australia! I've got an L4400 and there is nowhere I can get a 5' grapple over here, let alone a grill guard or other protective parts. Oh well !

I check the price on those grill guard to high cost. For that I can put that on and implement. Be nice to have the guard but just to much.
Protection Through Prevention. One of these guards saved my 1025r's life. He was about to take a log right in the bread basket. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. What else can I say? 😂
I was wondering how well it will work on a Kubota lx 2610 cause from what I ve seen the front grill has to be tilted forward to lift the hood or else the hood hits the grill, so does that grill guard offer Access to the pin release to tilt the grill forward to lift the hood?

Why is there no hydraulic line guard for the LX series?
My dad and I have been looking for a compact tractor that we can use for mowing, and every day use. What would be a good tractor?
So many options, the 1025r is hard to beat though.
I have a B2601 and have been very happy with it. I would look at what dealers are near you and their reputations. Dealer support is the most important part of tractor ownership. Any of the major brands will give you a good product. Deere and Kubota will hold their value the best.

Funny enough, I was doing some online shopping the other day on Amazon. One tool was dirt cheap, but had thousands of absolutely awful reviews (shocking!) while the much more expensive tool had a great ratings, but very few ratings given overall. I just chuckled. We'll throw our money at something just because it's cheap and then be disappointed when it doesn't perform like we want. Human nature I suppose.

Just playing devil's advocate, would Kubota say the bigger holes are necessary for airflow to the radiator? Obviously 511 does a better job of protection, but is air flow an issue?
I would think they would put bigger holes on the hood bonnet if more air flow is needed? There's plenty of air space between the grill guard and bonnet and all around the sides too. Tractors go 15-20 mph max, normally well under 10 mph. Different setup than a car going 70 down the highway. At least, that's my take on it :)

Those guards look good and obviously are more durable but is there any lighting reduction? Obviously it’s day time when making this video. So have you noticed any lack of visibility when driving after dark with the new guard installed?
a little but not enough to matter on my 1025r plus it obstructs the headlights way less than the bucket does
Very little impact in my experience.
I put a 511 grill guard on my L4060 last year. Great product and the stainless hardware was a nice touch. I will say that the headlights are significantly obstructed, to the point that I take it off in winter for plowing. That said, I still prefer the correct level of protection that it provides. In hindsight, I would like a fold down, pivoting, or removable plate over the headlights.
Anyway, is a great product and I will look at their newer offerings.

Just looked at the tie downs at their website. Asking $149. That is way too high. The front guard is $369 for my B2650. Also, you are showing these parts yet many are out of stock such as the B2650 orange & black Grill guards and the magnetic mirrors. They do look great though ....
Putting out a video has a way of doing that. Things will sell out, but be restocked pretty quickly. On that note, it’s hard to say things are overpriced when they are selling out like you mentioned. It seems like they are priced well. This isn’t a guy making them for himself in his shop. R&D, USA material, USA labor, shipping, powder coat, insurance, FF&E, building costs, etc. Not to mention making a profit.
They need to make a Guard for the Kubota M7060 fuel tanks

It’s unfortunate!! Kubota now a days is not built as stoutly as those in the ‘80’s and 90’s. Thinner gauge steel and plastic for the engine cover. I wonder why I paid over $30,000 for my B 3350?
Your grill guards may be good and I’m sure they are however recently I went on your site to get one for my new BX . I was shocked at the price ! I’m not gonna pay nearly $400.00 for a piece of painted steel ! Lmao 🤣
