And just like that #798 is an instant classic. I was sure that a vac truck was the only way that problem was going to be solved but sure enough Ollie’s determination saved the day.
The excitement of watching the crust slowly go down was infectious and oddly satisfying...and gross. A lot of fun watching the master at work. Cheers, mate!

My best guess is that pit was originally designed for a storm water overflow or as a trap to prevent sewage from backing up in to the building in the event the main was blocked due to the large amount of residential high rises in the area. Its a really strange setup.
I bet that other pit (presumably stormwater) has an overflow that goes to the big pit, which is probably why sewage was going the other way, and why it dropped a little when the 'crust' went down.
I’ve enjoyed a lot of your videos but I believe this one is by far my favorite. To see all that go down was wild! The amount of waste that was in there was crazy! Ollie, that was one epic forbidden chocolate cake those people left for you. This is by far one of my favorite videos of yours clearing that massive clog. Ive watched your videos for a good while now and it stood out when you said it stunk, I cant remember you actually saying that before, so that means it was really bad. That has to be one of the most complicated drain set ups you've dealt with. And that crust how did they not know there was a problem they must of been able to smell it even if they couldn't see it😮
