I second the ‘soak the pick head in oil to tighten it’ hack; I’m a farmer’s widow and hubby used to use metal wedges to tighten his tools, but I don’t know if you can find them anymore-age of disposables, ya know 🤨! Ollie, If you drive the pick down on the handle and set it on a small tub with about 1/2” of oil for a few days, the wood will swell and stay tight.
