With every phone call, every conversation, a little more information comes to light. What an absolute mess. I've got so much respect for you keeping your composure and professionalism. You're an absolute legend Oliver!
LEGEND? PUH!! HE IS HISTORIC, A JETTING MIRACLE MAKING MAN AMONG WEEASELS, LOL!! OLLIE SIMPLY IS A WONDER IN AUSTRALIAN PLUGGED PIPE "UNSTOPPERS"..THE PATRON SAINT OF ANY PLUGGED PIPE...BLOCKED, I SHOULD SAY FOR AUSSIES...LOL!!
That was an awesome job. The plot thickens... It is always the same, people never explain clearly to start off with and then you gradually find out. As you said, waste of time, frustration building up. The positive out of this is they will never make the mistake again... you hope 😄 Thanks again Ollie, it was a pleasure watching and thanks for the next day update!
Thank you for this amazing video, almost all the equipment used, all the cards up the sleeve used, and huge thanks for the update how it all ended :) Thanks Ollie for the amazing job you are doing.
I shudder to think how much of a mess this could've become had you not gotten this job. Poor woman. Cheers to you Ollie for remaining a ray of sunshine throughout
Patience and perseverance is what you have shown today, and it is admirable! Most people today would have said it’s not my problem. Thank you for your work Ollie!
Hey Ollie! Nick from Pittsburgh PA here. Great video as usual. I'm a mechanic and I want to throw ya a piece of advise that'll save you a nice chunk of money down the road. Every now and again rinse out the track on your automatic slide doors. For instance with the pressure hose on low before you pack up, then hose it down generously with wd 40. When that dries up some like the next day use some dry ptfe lube, or silicone spray lube, something light and not too sticky. Those things will last a whole heck of alot longer and give you less headache when they don't want to work right and keep beeping at you.
Loved how you talked to us at the end! I feel like I watched a movie and you were the P.S. at the end. Thanks for the update! Whatever you are paid it’s not enough!!!!
I do like these full jobs Ollie, it's good to see everything going on and that not every job can be completed. Nice work. Kevin from the UK, Manchester
You beat me to that! I don’t usually watch long videos, but Ollie and Ratti are the best! I’ve binge watched them before, now I have to go bake and like the ones I failed to in the first place!
Wow, what a marathon! So frustrating! I really felt for you Ollie, you tried everything. I bet you were screaming on the inside! I would have been but you were so nice and patient for the lady. Well done.
Did the world find a drain that Ollie could NOT CLEAR???? Nope! It's not a drain! Hahaha! We all know Ollie can clear anything! Silly people trying to call a vent pipe a drain! Loved the video... and what a way to enjoy nearly 2 hours! Thanks for the update also! ALL GOOD!! 🐀👍🐁
You are very hard worker. I haven't worked for a long time and I wish I could . I would love to work in a workshop again. watching you work makes me feel jealous. I'd love to do the things you do. Don't ever stop making videos. I love watching your videos, there are awesome guy.
What an epic episode! Your misfortune to get this job made such a great video to watch. The neighbour's plumber refusing to ever come back said it all. Well done for sticking with this one and glad it got resolved for the owner.
Merry xmas and a happy new year Ollie. What a nightmare job. So glad you never used acid to try and clear it!! Imagine that had come pouring out in both apartments. Flashbacks to the unit last year where the original plumber had left some in the pipes for you and it got you in the face and ruined your trousers if I recall.
What plumber/bathroom installer uses a 20mm copper 'breather' pipe for waste water? And remember that 'plumber' who worked there previously didn't ever want to come back. I think 'that plumber' was trained by Stanley Laurel because it put Ollie in "a another fine mess"
That was so excellent. I admire you sticking with it. Bit of a challenge but you worked out what was going on in the end. Would love to see more like this tho you probably can do without the hassle
Hi Ollie, Tony from the UK been watching your videos for a while now this one was magic loved it most people would have given up lol glad you didn't, liked the update at the end ,
What a day ollie dodgy plumbers sorry ollie watched the whole thing it was keeping me on the edge of my seat !!! Hope you billed them for it !! Great detective work as usual cheers ollie 👍
That poor woman having to deal with all that. Ollie I’m glad there a guys like you that actually do the job the right way. What hack plumber just runs a drain to a vent pipe for a toilet?
Un trabajo que se veía tan fácil y sencillo por mi experiencia se complica ya que el sistema de drenaje está interconectado. 👍👍 Excelente trabajo capitán 💪🏻💪🏻
Ollie! What a champ you are. I kept thinking, you deserve a clean and organized van for less headache. I hope some day we get to see your van get the makeover it deserves. Maybe a collab with another UA-camr in that field?
That was a problem that should have never happened, goes back to original installers creating problems.your a trooper there Ollie, plus your in the middle of it and lands on you to help the people out.great video as usual.just a doing your thing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
G'day Oliver. Boy, oh boy, do you get the GOOOOD jobs! The lady did say the original plumbers said they didn't want to come back. Now we know why. I learnt from very early on in my past career, that information and communication are key to anybody doing a good job. Sorry you had to waste your talent on that job but there is always another to be had. Have a Happy New Year Oliver. Safe unplugging. 👍👍👍
Ollie, my mate, it has been a long day, and one of those day !!! I have been watching your Drain Addict for about 5 years, may be more, by far it is the longest video running time; every minute i was expecting your magic word ''we are at the blockage now'', ''count of three...one, two, three....would you believe four, four it is'', ''all good'' !!! Oh, well, not everyday is the same !! Cheer up Ollie...you did your best !
I've seen that setup before in the bathroom. Someone I know who lives in a brick unit has the same setup. The complex is multi storey and the stack pipe is shared . The access is behind a wooden section (looks plastered over in your video) . Strangely enough , the shower (I assume) drain pipe in their unit (the one I know) sticks out of the ceiling (just the inspection point). At least being a concrete jungle , the pipe can still be cleared from the unit below. On the upside, they also have the grey water and soil pipes still available from under the building in the car port for easy cleaning. What a total stuff up putting grey water down the vent pipe. You kept your cool so well.
Ollie. Me canse de tan solo ver el vídeo de tanto subir y bajar las escaleras jajajaja. Ese trabajó te mantiene en buen estado fisico! Saludos desde Argentina
That pipe didn’t work so we capped it off. Wonderful! That’s like someone telling me everything has been checked and it’s safe to dig. That’s why I carry my own detection equipment. I don’t like those shocking surprises or explosive gas leaks.😮 The more information they can give you the better off you are. I hope you have a Happy New Year and a prosperous 2025.🎉
I feel your frustration my brother and as i have worked on trucks like this it dosnt smell cus your around it all the time hes doing just like every plumber out there and as far as cleaning the truck want him to ket you house flood or clean the truck god bless you your family
OH MY! How frustrating!!! You threw everything you could at this. Then the update comes that someone else mucked up! GRRRRRRR. A waste of your time, but you met some nice people in the process (apartment inhabitants) who were more than willing to help where/when they could. That is the positive to take away from this mess, for that is what it was. It is New Year's Eve Day on the land of Down Under. Happy New Year to you and yours. Thank you for the video. To everyone in DA Land to you all....a Blessed 2025!

Glad you enjoyed it!👍
I would call that a bloody headache mate, a workout, a disaster is more like it! Took me two days to watch this one 😂 Thanks for the update Oliver 👍
I shudder to think how much of a mess this could've become had you not gotten this job. Poor woman. Cheers to you Ollie for remaining a ray of sunshine throughout

Dang, i live north of you, butler county!
I float around Pittsburgh here and there as well.
I try to stay away from the Burgh, I go for the occasional sports game and the VA near Pitt! I’m disabled so I avoid traffic when possible!
Good advice
By the way, I agree with you on those tracks! We had an odyssey with one. The previous owner used it for puppy transport, wet! That track was a mess!
Loved how you talked to us at the end! I feel like I watched a movie and you were the P.S. at the end. Thanks for the update! Whatever you are paid it’s not enough!!!!
Keep em coming Oliver I sure wish I had as many customers for my business as you do maybe I'm just in the wrong business.
They will come with time, and living in a capital city helps👍
I do like these full jobs Ollie, it's good to see everything going on and that not every job can be completed. Nice work.
Kevin from the UK, Manchester
Geez. What a wild ride that was! Excellent to get an update at the end!
What a beautiful unit of a van. 2012 they stopped selling the Hiace here in Europe.
I love the uncut it's real . Keep it going. You are the best.
Brutal. That is soooo frustrating. At least you discovered the problem!
almost 2 hours? this is gonna be a great video
Pass the buttered pop corn please 😮

@@felipearanguiz321 Thanks for the #500 mention. I'll have to go check that one out!
Patience's of a Saint. Thanks.
I felt for you on this one mate. What a job, sorry you had to deal with this. You handled it like a true professional.
An hour and forty seven minutes!!! What great way to end the year. Now I have something to watch when I’m on break and lunch today. Thank you Ollie!
That's a long lunch 😅
When Ollie says "Theres something not right here" you best be scared, really scared.
lol👍
Just like when he says “under a bit of pressure”
I felt your pain with this one Ollie, great video bud!
Wow, what a marathon! So frustrating! I really felt for you Ollie, you tried everything. I bet you were screaming on the inside! I would have been but you were so nice and patient for the lady. Well done.

Absolutely shattered from work, this will take a couple viewings as i will full asleep. Thsrs a good thing!! These for some reason are so soothing.
What an epic episode! Your misfortune to get this job made such a great video to watch. The neighbour's plumber refusing to ever come back said it all. Well done for sticking with this one and glad it got resolved for the owner.

Thanks for the video Ollie 👍 Very frustrating for you plus filming the whole process at the same time! We appreciate it mate 🙏
Hey Ollie, you should look into carrying a Leatherman wave or surge.
WOW, That van needs some organization! Reminds me of my kids bedroom.
I thought the same until I replaced my sewer pipe. I was covered in shit water and I tossed my tools in the garage and said I'm done for the day.
What a day ollie dodgy plumbers sorry ollie watched the whole thing it was keeping me on the edge of my seat !!! Hope you billed them for it !! Great detective work as usual cheers ollie 👍

Ollie being modest trying not to call them knuckle draggers😂😂
Poor Ollie! What a mess and a hassle. I can only imagine how frustrated you must have been and you handled it like a champ.
