I don't see how this could possibly be true given that, in the milky way galaxy, light would take 100,000 years to cross in a straight line.

Is it mere coincidence that a man, residing in the desert over 1400 years ago, could possess knowledge that aligns with recent discoveries made possible only by advanced instruments? I pose this question to any rational mind: who could have imparted such insights centuries ago? How could a man have acquired such profound knowledge?
It is apparent that only the Creator of the universe could have conveyed these truths to His messenger. This unequivocally establishes the Quran not as a product of human creation, but rather as a divine revelation from the Almighty God.

Okay so this might be an extremely dumb question, but if there's a star system moving behind us, wouldn't it make for a shorter trip time as it would also intercepting us at the same time? Or is the speeds still too slow to make a difference on cosmic scale?

You do realize there is no possible way to ever know this right? We don’t even truly know how large our galaxy is. We are guessing how big it is based on the mass of our black hole and comparing it other spiral galaxies. We don’t even know exactly where we are within our galaxy. So there is no way to know how many time we’ve made a lap.
We simply will never be able to see high enough above the orbital plane to fully understand our own galaxy. You also have no idea if we have moved closer to the center during that time span and by how much.

Pluto takes 248 Earth Years to orbit the Sun. The last time Pluto was in Orbit where it is Today was in 1776 when America started it's war of Independence.
Neptune takes 165 Earth Years to orbit the Sun. The last time Neptune was in orbit where it is today was in 1859 the Dawn of the Civil War. Neptune takes 84 Years to orbit the sun. Last time Neptune was in Orbit where it is today was 1940 the start of WW2. CAN THESE PLANETS PREDICT WARS???

*“It is He(Allah) who created night and day, the sun☀️ and the moon🌙, each floating in its orbit.”*
    [Quran, 21:33]
    Sun’s orbit
The belief that the Sun is stationary was widespread amongst astronomers until the 20th century. It is now a well-established scientific fact that the Sun is not stationary, but is moving in an orbit around the centre of our Milky Way galaxy.
Is it mere coincidence that a man, residing in the desert over 1400 years ago, could possess knowledge that aligns with recent discoveries made possible only by advanced instruments? I pose this question to any rational mind: who could have imparted such insights centuries ago? How could a desert-dwelling individual have acquired such profound knowledge?

Hundreds of years before Islam, people had noted that the sun , earth and moon moved strangely. And the word orbit just translates to heavens.
Other "divine" revelations says that the sun sets in a pond.
The Creator doesn't really seem convey science very well. Not one real scientific equation or formula. Nothing on evolution or anything that wasn't' known at the time.
What I find particularly strange is how all the "amazing" facts are only apparent for the 20th century. It seems that people living in the 17th century for example would not have not understood anything! I guess you do need to be illiterate to be convinced that it says it all in the book.

The time scale for the Milky Way-Andromeda collision is indeed about 4.5 billion years, and we based the details on current astronomical models. It’s a complex scenario because galaxies don’t orbit each other in a typical way-they’re on a collision course, moving towards each other due to gravity. If anything seems off, though, feel free to let me know. The universe is a tricky thing to measure, and we’re always learning! 🙏

Сонце рухається по іншому. На нього впливають зірки Чумацького шляху. Рух Землі у Чум.шляху йде по спіралі. Тому, будь ласка, який є період оберту навколо Сонця. Цієї інформації нема ніде !

The period of rotation of the Earth around the Sun is approximately 365.25 days, which is what gives us our calendar year. This is known as a solar year or tropical year. It's interesting that you mention the spiral movement, which refers to how the entire solar system, including the Sun and planets, moves through the Milky Way galaxy. However, this doesn't directly affect the Earth's period of rotation around the Sun.
