Bought this after watching your review. It works awesome. Also, it is serviceable, you can buy new blades. Well made. Thanks for the review.

This last time I used it, it was extra dusty. I had some spare foam tape that i added to the lip and it greatly reduced the dust. Start slow so it gets is starting track in the cut or else it will stall and unravel the blades. The clips that hold the spring chamber broke when I pushed on it too much, but it still works.

I need to enlarge a lighting hole that already exists to accomodate much large lights. Will it be an issue trying to use one of these without anything for the center drill to grip onto ?

You really need something for the center bit to puncture. I have taken a small piece of wood and screwed it across on the inside to all for this. Otherwise you might have to enlarge by hand. Hope this helps.

You can take your hole saw and drill a thin piece of scrap wood, then screw that to the ceiling for a guide, walah. No pilot needed. There are many methods, actually.

Can you cut through particle board ceiling tile?

Might work but probably better to use a hole saw if available.

Not sure. I’ve not tried that yet. Only drywall so far.

Now there're plenty of coneless LED light, save a cone and fix process.
