Learned a new trick from your video, and that is to heat the cloth. It’s a “duh” moment! That would make it so much easier cleaning the cabinets. Thank you for the new trick!
Hi Kevin, I totally agree with you about not using paper towels. Way too expensive and certainly not good if you do as much recycling as possible. I swear by your terry cloth idea. In fact, I use old cotton/polyester T shirts that I cut up. I tend to use Bar Keepers Friend for cleaning my stainless sink and, like you, periodically soak it in bleach and let it air dry. Thanks very much for another great Lifestyle and kitchen maintenance video. You certainly keep us all on our toes!! Huge Hugzz, Steve xx
Dear Kevin, i kust want you to know ... I forward your videoes to my young adult working grandchildren who have their own apartments. So much they need to know and your instructions are definitely a "need to know." So grateful for you. ❤
Kevin, My husband and I have always used hot water with dawn and vinegar but today we are spring cleaning. So we decided to use your methods. Well sir, this works beyond our wildest dreams. I hope you can hear my appreciation in this note. You are our hero, lol.
I'm on a mission to stop using lots of cleaning products and your video is so helpful for this. Using reusable terry cloths, baking soda, etc. Microwaving the cloths is such a great tip! I'm a gardener and love to cook, too, so I will explore your other videos and have subscribed. Thank you, glad I found you.
Truly wonderful... from stylish to creative to humbly practically cleaning your kitchen... you are truly a wonderful soul! New viewer here... I am catching up to watch all your videos. Very inspiring! ... 👍👍👍👍👍⚘💓
This is so important! I'm always surprised to find that Americans are not suffering from food poisoning on a regular basis. And having a clean kitchen where the surfaces aren't sticky with grease just makes me feel better!
That was very helpful Kevin Lee. Thank you. Lots of useful tips. I was cleaning the Flat while watching you cleaning too, so I felt like I wasn't alone doing my cleaning ! X Mary 😊
Good Morning Kevin great jobs cleaning your kitchin , i was realy listening to you tell your Blue eyes come right up in the camera you are blessed . love your show thank you for all the great advice have a awesome day ,
I always use rags/cloth to clean. I like your tip about putting them in the microwave to clean grease, great idea! When I had travertine floors put in one of my former homes, the Italian tile man said whatever you do, don't use vinegar!
hi, had to pop in 2c whats up. weimans has excellent products, also bon ami is great for tree sap on wondows, cars, corvettes and any glassware. never never scratches. anytime water is boiled or grease is hot if it floats in the air it lands somewhere. im glad i tore apart my kitchen. cleaned everything. yep. everything. except the stove. im hunting for a gas stove i hate electric. you did good with the kitchen. nice.
Kevin, use pinking shears to cut a dark fabric to size to put on top of your fridge! You just take down the cloth and put it in the washing machine (use a little Dawn) instead of having to scrub the top. Unfortunately, you cannot cover the entire fridge, so you still have to do the sides.🤪
Recently found your channel and love it. I've concluded are the secret lovechild of Martha Stewart and Fred Rogers. That being said, this particular post is a bit ridiculous - cleaning an already spotlessly clean kitchen!
Hi Kevin I love a clean and tidy house especially the bathroom and the kitchen …I am amazed with your cleaning skills …how often do you deep clean the kitchen and what do you use for the floor. Thank you for sharing this video.
Hi Kevin..How often do you do a deep cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom, and what type of mop for the kitchen and bathroom floors do you use? thanks, Donna
@@kevinleejacobs1364 with regular detergent? I have a lot of problems cleaning kitchen towels. Thanks for sharing I love your videos I always learn a lot!
Hello Kevin, I don’t know the best way to contact you but I wondered if you could give me some advise? After 90 years of family ownership I’m an in the process of selling my 17 room family beach house on the CT shore. Exorbitant taxes and upkeep no longer work for me. My fiancée Bruce and I put an offer in on a much smaller bold ocean front house on the northern Maine coast. My question is I’m overwhelmed. How should I best proceed packing and moving 17 rooms of antiques? Any ideas about how to organize and accomplish this feat would be greatly appreciated.
I'd speak to a professional moving company. Most are terrific with antiques. The movers will safely pack everything from fine furniture and objets d'art to glassware and kitchen utensils. They will even pack the contents of desk and dresser drawers! The biggest job for you and your fiancee will be deciding what items you wish to keep, toss, or auction. And that will be stressful indeed.
Thanks for watching the video! I wash the cloths and towels at high temperature, and only add bleach if the cloths are badly stained. I never add vinegar to the wash.

The perfect thing, is old towels cut down, stitch a quick hem around them and they are good to go.
Kevin, you are so kind for sharing your cleaning secrets with us. The hot cloth in the microwave is brilliant! Thank you. 🌷
Love the hot terry cloth for the greasy cabinet door. Genius

Great vid! Thanks for showing the stainless cleaning spray - I've used the cream kind, which is kind of messy & leaves white crumbs...
I also use baking soda to clean sinks and tiles of any room. It works great.
Thanks! Much appreciated video! ❤
So many great tips in this video! Will definitely give them a try.
Wow! Soapy steam. Trying that tomorrow!
Inspiring cleaning using less chemicals! I have a septic, so I can’t use bleach EVER… so I just use a spray disinfectant at the end.

I learned a lot. Thank you.
I use Windex on every surface in the kitchen and it works brilliantly too. Especially greasy cooktops and cupboard doors.
Geez Kevin, you clean like my Crazy family LOL
Very very great work love the videos continue to make wonderful videos Kevin
Very very helpful tips ....Will try in w days time-when I have my extra-cleaning day.....
Now that you have finished cleaning your kitchen, Kevin. Stop by my house and clean my kitchen!

Hi Kevin I love a clean and tidy house especially the bathroom and the kitchen …I am amazed with your cleaning skills …how often do you deep clean the kitchen and what do you use for the floor. Thank you for sharing this video.
Hi Marmina - Floors in this house are from the 19th century. I clean them with a solution of water and white vinegar.
I prefer using terry cloth for cleaning, the new fiber cloths i don’t like.
Cleaning bleach in the sink also takes away stains in the sink like coffee and tea.
Very encouraging. I'll give your tips a try. Which Dawn do you use? There are a dozen kinds out there.
Hi Kevin..How often do you do a deep cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom, and what type of mop for the kitchen and bathroom floors do you use?

❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi, I use microfiber cloths for cleaning. Is this comparable to terry cloth?
btw,, use that weimans on the shower especially the doors. big difference.
Me too also yeah😊
So how often do you do that ?because every time you wash your dished it is as bad 😏so I just clean it with soaps after washing the dishes 🤷🏼♀️
How do you clean the towels after? Thanks
Washing machine.
