WHAT A JOY YOU MUST HAVE HAD WHEN YOU RECIEVED THE OLD PHOTOGRAPHS.
YOU HAVE BROUGHT THIS HOUSE BACK TO IT'S BEAUTY OF A HOME.
SCOTT'S WIFE VICKIE
Thank you so much Kevin for letting us view your beautiful home. You are a very gracious host.
Kevin, thank you so much for inviting us into your home, and sharing the history. I'll be waiting to see more. You're such a gracious host.
Kevin, you and Mr. Fox have such impeccable taste - I love everything in your house - thanks for inviting us in!
What a beautiful room to dine. The history of your home is fascinating
Hi Kevin! I usually just like and subscribe and don't usually comment. I found your channel just recently. So far I have enjoyed the garden tour, house tours, lemon madeleines and tea sandwiches. I also like the federal style and own a federal style sofa much like yours, not an original, just a reproduction. Watching your videos is like an escape to a world much described in books. Keep up the wonderful work, the house is shining like a gem!
Am absolutely enjoying your tours of your incredible historic house. How wonderful to know that you are being so faithful to the quality
and grandeur of the past in this tear down Era we are living in! Have you been told you have a wonderful "Mr. ROGERS" persona
I would like to see other rooms in your home please.
Mr. Jacobs, please be careful with stacking your firewood on your porch. Since you have wood lying right against your house, you're inviting termites and that's not a problem you want to face.
I just found your channel and am enjoying the tours. I owned a 100 year old house for around 20 years and loved all the original woodwork and fireplaces. I know you will continue to enjoy yours for many years.
I am gilding my dining room mirror. yours are my inspiration.
Can't believe I hadn't stumbled upon your channel ages ago. It totally aligns with my philosophy on antiques, the love of the past and cooking.
I've watched several of your videos, Kevin, and it looks like its a binge night tonight. Have subscribed this evening and I'm anticipating learning more
about the house you and Mr. Fox are restoring. I have such respect for anyone willing to take on a labour of love of this magnitude. Best regards,
Darryl
Hi Darryl - Thank you so much!
You're living the life! Great job with the restoration, the house is scrumptious.
Such a beautiful room. Love the fireplace and table. You really do such a lovely job restoring and decorating.
The fireplace is so beautiful and Lily looks very content in front it. I love the wall color.
the black Egyptian marble fireplace is stunning!
Love the color choices! I should be cleaning the kitchen while my first ever Pain de Mie (your recipe) is in the oven, but... Your home tour episodes are much more entertaining. Looking forward to the next part!
Lovely room!
Recently I washed my windows with the tips that you gave us. The results were excellent!
Like that since you had to remove a modern kitchen you chose to go with the Federal period for furnishings. It really works.
Oh yes I love this dinning room🫶🏾Hi Lillie👋🏿
Love the painting above the fireplace. I love the renovation, great job!
Beautiful restoration and beautiful sentiments you have expressed re the importance of saving historical homes.
I imagine you and Mr Fox dining at the table and feeling satiated from the meal and emotionally fulfilled from your surroundings ♥️
Just beautiful. Great attention to detail and I'm happy to see the fireplace in use! ✨
i really love that mulberry colour, that golden framed mirror looks absolutely fabulous with it!!! :-)
I love your videos and the dining room is gorgeous. The love and attention you put into Clover Hill really shines through.
Cheerful glee bubbling up from all surfaces.
Thanks for your wonderful tour of your home! I always enjoy hearing about the different elements of your home! I can tell the love you and Mr. Fox have for it! Please keep on sharing. There seems to always be more you can share. ❤️
Please re think your idea to paint the kitchen cabinets. Your kitchen is lovely and clean looking. Very striking. Plus it’s behind closed doors. Marvelous 😊
Research has shown that when zoning laws in towns allow people to subdivide old houses into apartments, the area begins to deteriorate. So, first I am at a loss to understand why town boards don’t know this too, and why they would, therefore, allow this lovely old home to be subdivided. I know the story of the shape it was in, and that might be an eyesore, but subdividing it was also a sure fire loser. Love the idea of the firewood right outside the window. You don’t have to worry about termites in that cold climate, but in the South that wouldn’t work because those little critters would love that old wood on the porch! Learned this when we moved to Virginia.
How exciting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.❤
Fantastic! Dining room restored in perfect taste!🎉Will be in btw resting to hear about the painting in the thing room as well. This is perfect, great channel with a wonderful host🎉
Count Rumfort is the best functioning fireplace ever designed Kevin. At one point they were illegal in New Hampshire because they were deemed too shallow with that tiny flu, but that would be my choice, You said that you and Mr. Fox took out the wood cook stove. That is too funny. We put out kitchen wood stove back! It took me a year to restore it in one of our barns. Not only that, we designed our 2016 farm cottage " around" the Home Comfort ( AKA Matilda) We have an open concept kitchen/dining/ living room with cathedral ceiling. She is currently heating the area toasty warm! We do have a 2016 modern kitchen on one end of the room.
Your dining room restoration is divine and classy. I like that you and Mr. Fox dine directly in front of the fireplace.
My only question is the new kitchen. I have not taken a tour as yet, but I catch glimpses. I would have a Viking stove if I cooked as much as you do. My appeasement is that I have two stoves in the kitchen. Matilda and a five burner propane range. ~ Diane
Reminds me of downton Abby -really enjoying you and your videos ! Have you changed any of it -it’s a cool home
I am so happy to have found your channel! I have been binge watching all your videos😂 I truly love what you have done with that gorgeous Victorian home. Thank you for saving a piece of history! One more thing, please keep informing us what certain furniture pieces are called and where we can find them. God bless 😘
Welcome aboard, Kika!
Your home is lovely! I truly enjoy the tours. Please continue to share the rest of the house with your followers!
You did a beautiful a job restoring back to a glorious dining room. I have to watch more from the renovation videos
So pleased to see the beautiful restoration. I hat seeing beautiful houses torn down or abandoned.
Again, absolutely fabulous! I love the mulberry! I grew up in the rectory of the Episcopal Church in West Park. A stone river house with a fireplace in the living room and dining room. Ah, those candlelit dinners with the fire! There’s nothing like it.
Beautiful restoration!
Thank you I adore this house ,thank you for showing it to us,
Beautiful beautiful. Lilly is absolutely precious too.
I have Dove white in almost all rooms of my home.
Perfect restoration. This is how a dining room SHOULD look. You were lucky that when the previous owners put in their horrendous fittings they didn't smash up that beautiful original marble fireplace. The oblong mirror looks slightly like the over mantle mirror in the parlour. Was it in place when you bought the house and if so is it possible it was perhaps bought by the owners who bought the over mantle mirror as a complimentary piece?
Gorgeous dining room restoration! Your hard work paid off.
What a lovely room. And the wood store outside the window is a fabulous idea. Work smarter not hard is my motto to. 😊
I want to see the kitchen and pantry. Beautiful house. 😊
Greetings Kevin, Saturday am here waiting for washer to finish. Enjoying your tour, ready for #4. Your subs # are climbing. That's nice. ❤
I am so happy you all were able to rescue this beautiful house.
Texas Here. Beautiful restoration. I love the Egyptian Fireplace and your paint choices. Thank you.
Yes, Kevin period i'd love to see more of your beautiful home..
Beautiful dining room restoration and yes I would love to see the whole house
Kevin, I just adore your home. It is absolutely beautiful. And the work that you and Mr. Fox put in on it is just spectacular. As an owner of many old homes though, I need to let you know I’ve been advised by many many people never to keep wood up against the back of your house like that. It will attract termites and they will climb up in your walls and consume your home before you know it could even be up in your attic and you wouldn’t even know it. I would move that wood away immediately. Best of luck and can’t wait to see further videos.
I would keep all doors open inside house,.! Makes it seem cold & unwelcoming with doors shut,! Just my humble opionion 😊 🌹
Developers make me so mad in how they destroy everything. Thank you for restoring that beautiful room. One question: how do you manage getting everything home from the auction sales?
My, that must have been an awful lot of work. But I'm so glad the two of you decided to put the effort into it. It has truly paid off. And what a clever idea with the firewood - to make sure you can reach it from the window! That way, you're sure to make good use of the fireplace. I love a dining room with a fireplace.
wow! six years ago..just found your channel..lots of catching up to do..
Great job Kevin. I love to watch your house tours. Looking forward to the next one. Much love.
You did a great, GREAT job! I love those pocket doors!
Thank you Kevin for showing us your beautiful home.
Such beautiful rooms! Thank you for saving the house from the pervious "renovations" and also, from the salvage (or perhaps I should say savage,) wrecking bar.
Saludos desde Santa Fe, Argentina 🇦🇷

Just doing a ramble through your website and spotted this video...what a beautiful job bringing this dining room back...and yes to more videos about restoration in your home.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful love for your home
These clips are great and I would love to see the whole house. It must be wonderful having Christmas lunch in that dining room. I can see why you were sold on that staircase - it's a beaut.
Are the fireplaces actually coal burning; rather than wood? 🤔
Thanks again for the tour.
Hugs❤
