I was until he said that the elitist, America hating, divisive former resident of the White House, Obama, along with Michael would be the two he would want to sit down with! 🤮🤮🤮
I did the same for one of our cats. We didn't find her in our backyard like you did but bought her from a feed store. They had two cages full of kittens and most were at least mostly healthy and active but one was really tiny and was curled up as tightly as she could in a corner of the cage. The cage was outside and it had been in the 30s overnight. We bought her and found out she didn't know how to eat cat food. I heated up a mix of milk and Karo corn syrup and fed her with an eye dropper every two hours, setting an alarm between feedings. She lived for 18 years before crossing the rainbow bridge.
Hello Kevin, I just found you are a very good English teacher to me, I like the way you talk and speak a little bit slow as I’m a very fresh English student☺️❤
Thanks for the shout out to my mom! She was so proud of being acknowledged in your cookbook. You're an incredible pianist. I remember you were always borrowing classical music records from the public library.
When you drive to the store, you sometimes have the radio on, and usually a beautiful soft sounding male group is singing. I just love to hear them every time you have them on. Please let us know the name of that group. Upon hearing them, I automatically feel this “calmness “ come over me. Can’t think of any better therapy for that day. Thank you, Kevin, for everything you’ve posted. I enjoy the cooking videos, the gardening videos and everything else. Thank you, and thank you again ! ❤️ 13:42
As a South African with British, Dutch and French roots, l appreciate your You tube channel. Thanks for giving weights in recipes. Makes my life easier.
Hi Kevin. I just discovered you today. I relate to you in many ways. I’ve always been interested in cooking. Unfortunately, my mother didn’t enjoy cooking, so I had no one to inspire me. She didn’t want me in the kitchen. Finally, on my 12th birthday, she told me that I could bake my birthday cake. I chose a Pillsbury pineapple cake. Forty-five years ago I was engaged to my husband, Rick (RF). His mother was a fabulous cook. I would watch her in the kitchen. She bought me a wok one Christmas and I realized that I could slay those wonderful Asian recipes. I have spent so much time in the kitchen, and I’ve enjoyed every minute. My Grandson, Vincent, has spent so much time watching me cook. Now he’s 15. One Thanksgiving he put on an apron and said, “Let’s cook”. I was thrilled. He cooked the entire dinner, with my help, and it was wonderful. Cooking is a gift that you give your loved ones everyday. I will continue watching you. Thank you for what you do. You bring class back to good preparation and entertaining.
How very touching Kevin for rescueing Binky!🥰 I had two cats in my life, one lived 23 years, the other 22 years! I loved them dearly and miss them forever. Much love to you and the community.
Just watched after 1 year that you loaded this and must say this was very informative. That you so very much for taking the time to answer so many questions. Kevin, please don't change you are a great person and you help so many of us with your recipes, information and by just being you. I would love to one day meet and even better have a friend like you. All the best to you❤❤❤👍👍👍
Your energy level is amazing.. My mother was a cake decorator and the instructor gave them a cake pan coating to release baked goods, here’s the recipe if you would like to have it. Equal parts flour, shortening and oil, whipped . I use a brush to coat the pans and have great success.
Thankyou so very much for answering my question. I give you so much credit for working out every day and also with a trainer twice a week. I have never worked with a trainer. I have been walking every day which helps but would really benefit from some structured exercise. Thankyou for sharing your energy enhancing tips and suggestions. I super appreciate that. So great to feel connected with such a personal. thoughtful and relatable style that you have Kevin. I enjoyed hearing everyone's questions and your answers. Thankyou for this great Q & A Kevin!!! Have a great day! 💖🌸🌿
I certainly would love to have you do figgy pudding and the Œuf dans la neige! What a treat. Also, might you play some piano on one of your videos? You are so versatile in all of the things that I love, cooking, music, decor, conversation, gardens it’s truly a joy to watch your videos!
I thought, for one second, that you were going to say Mr Fox was sitting next to you and his face would be strategically obscured by your flower arrangement, just like Wilson on the sitcom, Home Improvement. 😄 Kevin, you are a fascinating, multifaceted man with an eye for exquisite details in home decor and dining. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
How lovely to learn a little bit about you! So many interests and talents. The cabbage casserole was wonderful, I happened to have half a cabbage I was wanting to use so it was just the ticket! 93 year old nana loved it, we ate it cold the next day on a very hot day. Greetings from London, Canada.
Kevin, you are such a love! If find a great deal of peace, inspiration and enjoyment in all of your videos. I enjoy your asides and have always found your recipes to be winners. And while our politics may be 180 from one another, I cannot appreciate you enough and look forward to the days to come! Tell Mr. Fox, his public is waiting!! Much love and gratitude.
Kevin, I have been making Christmas puddings for many years and I never follow a recipe. I can put it together in about 15 minutes but I steam it for many hours. I always include grated carrots, currants and other dried fruits, grated apple whatever, traditionally suet and bread crumbs are used but I add butter and flour and Guinness or any liquids as needed. I just feel when it's right. I never add sugar as the dried fruits are the sweetener. So I steam, and steam until the pudding is very black. Moist not burnt. We always flame it with brandy, lights out for presentation and a sprig of holly on top.We use Bird's custard made with eggnog and sherry, whipped cream or brandy or rum butter. Just a family tradition that I keep going even though I am too full to eat dessert, I don't really enjoy sweets anyway but I love making them.
Before I forget - yes please to 'eggs in snow' - if you are still answering questions (a year later) - I would love to know how you came to buy your house and what it was like at that time. I enjoyed the video about the garden tour and all your helpful info about striking boxwood cuttings etc., and would love to know the journey of your house. Blessings to you and Mr Fox.
Oh my goodness I was pleasantly surprised to hear you were born and raised in Spokane Washington I currently live in the Nashville area I have lived all over the world but still call Spokane home. I hail from the south hill! I so enjoy your videos and look forward to many more 💜

I enjoyed your Q&A session so much! It would be wonderful to see a video of you preparing a figgy pudding around Christmas. I absolutely adore fruit cakes and puddings during the holidays. I have made fruit cake but I have never made a figgy pudding, so that would be very interesting. Thanks so much for posting😊

I was also going to ask how you and Mr. Fox met. So glad someone else also asked- and that it was the first question! Looking forward to seeing a video with both of you in it.🤗

From personal experience, I have a suggestion for you. Consider painting only the lower cabinets first and living with it for a while to see if that’s enough color to take away the “ too white” value of the kitchen. If not you can always paint the upper cabinets too.
Hello! I'm new to your wonderful channel. Your presentation is so comfortably sophisticated, yet unpretentious. (As many of them are.)
