I'm from New Mexico and I can tell you that what she sold at that pawn shop was likely worth 3x the amount she asked for. The turquoise and silver alone in that jewelry, + the fact that it was most likely handmade, + antique = that bracelet alone could have gone for $400. And that's likely what its going to be sold for. The basket and blanket might've been worth even more. It was infuriating to see her lowball FAMILY HEIRLOOMS like that.

I'm honestly so worried for her Son's future.... THIS is the type of mother that puts her child in danger. She's extremely naive and clearly doesn't have much guidence in her life. The fact that her sister even ALLOWED her to sell family heirlooms tells me a lot.

These women who want to be with inmates they never met is just insane to me. Putting kids in harms way by allowing these criminals around them is another story. Women like this shouldn't be mothers. My mom chose a drug addict bf over me and my 2 siblings. She moved him in a week after meeting him. The worst decision she could have ever make. My mom and brother ended up becoming drug addicts because of her bad decision. Me and my sister got out in time. My brother was the youngest one so he didnt have a choice. He was only 9 or 10 years old at the time. Moms bf recently passed away but they are still addicts. I learned from her mistakes. Every choice we make effects our children so make wise decisions and be careful who you bring around your kids

Shes living in fantasy land because of her insecurities. She said she only does one night stands likely cause she accepts random guys who gives her attention. The fact that hes her only relationship at 29 shows this too. So yea because she yearns for something so much she is making him into this fantasy perfect guy in her head. He likely fed into that too for money. Theres almost a 100% chance hes using her.

She needs to file for child support from whatever person that fathered this kid, get herself into a vocational program or college & just focus on the kid she's responsible for bringing into the world. I've read 35-65% of inmates reoffend within four years, you cannot rely on a person you've never even met to give you the family you're so desperate for, you need to make it yourself.

If he was really serious about being a family he would tell her to put money in escrow so when he gets out they can get a place to stay. Seriously, what does he need all that money for in prison. Also his behavior is showing that he's not going to change.

The design on the ring, the blanket designs and being in such good condition *was probably hung somewhere*, the turquoise in the necklace, and they're from her Grandma? They're all VERY Navajo looking items which is the main Native group here and turquoise is either meaningless or SUPER SUPER serious to Navajo people. Being her GRANDMA'S, omg, I just assume they were important. Those 10000% were Grandma's priceless-very valuable possessions. I can't believe she PAWNED them. That hurt to see and hear she spent what, 40k on dude but pawns Grandma's things. This hurt
