He really loved his students, and set up the schools first "kid Closest", basically clothes, shoes, hygiene products, and shelf stable food that the kids could help themselves to. He taught all elementary grades, but his own wife (also black and a teacher) and kids (boys ages 4- 10 at the time) were never really fully accepted. They ended up coming back to teach at schools here in the SF Bay Area.
As a resident of Farmington, catfish kettle isn’t a buffet…you basically eat what they bring you, then when you’re low they’ll bring you some more. They have this deal where it’s all you can eat for like $14. It’s amazing though. Also their sweet tea is really really good. You get to choose fish, chicken or shrimp. Then 2 or 3 sides. Their pickles are the bomb too

I think after meeting Joy in person she sees how delusional she is and that this probably won't end well and they already have some problems. I’m ashamed to admit it but as a Navajo woman, I can 100% attest to the fact that 70% of Navajo women are this ignorant and other words I can’t use.
