All my favorite UA-camrs do those kind of titles and thumbnails--not lies just more dramatized. If the content is good, I don't care. If you don't optimize your titles/thumbnails, your videos get shoved down into a black hole of obscurity. You can't spread awareness if no one sees your videos.

I love your medical videos, dont stop them. They are informative and your chronic case informs how you manage your life. You are brilliant, you have overcome and can now even plan for your future. Much LOVE as always. Ann Marie form Canada, hugs

I understand completely Amy & I'm praying for u for the future
I've had loads of different surgeries over my years ( unfortunately ive had 29 surgeries but I font ever let that stop me )
& I had a hip surgery done years ago & they called it THE CASTLE SURGERY - It's when they take out your ball joint like what they do for a hip replacement but they don't replace it with anything cause I cannot walk anyway so thankfully i didn't need it 👍 ( ♿️ ) 💖💖💖
I'm now thriving & I'm no longer in any pain in that area ( other areas in my body is an entire different story if u know what I mean 😉 ) & I do not regret that surgery cause it helped me soooo much ( even through this surgery was experimental & I was the 1st patient in Aussie to haveit so I knew the risks )
So I'm glad u are going to finally have yours surgery done also 💖
    Love Kayla

Sounds like a great plan! I’m going back to school in the Fall. I’m an RN and am going back to get my school nurse certification. It’s exciting but I’m definitely nervous because my health is still relatively unstable

I can't believe you can't get on disability! That's just wrong!! I know people that is on it that I know don't deserve it! It's not fair. I myself have applied for disability but I'm 53 and have degenerative disc disease in my entire spine and now developing scoliosis. Also have my right ankle fused twice and my foot was put back on crooked so I have great difficulty walking. But I worked for many years with most of this in fact my last job was 17yrs.and they just let me go in October 2018. I CRIED!! I loved my job. Ok enough of that crap. I love how you do your channel!! You and Tom are so cute and funny together and he's a really good guy and anyone can tell that he really loves you!! You are looking really good! Alot healthier than your old videos!!! ❣🌼❣

Mental health and physical is totally connected. Bad physical health can make mental health worse. Bad mental health can make physical health worse. This os called holistic health. I wish we could change mental health into emotional health or something else. This I feel would take away stereotypes of mental health away.

Definitely sounds like you have planned a busy year. The subject of cannibalism is different and a little strange, but kind of intriguing. ( not suppose to sound weird). Love the shirt, it is cute. Taking about mental health by is hard, it is different for each individual. It is something that needs more awareness. What you go through on a daily basis is very challenging. Truthfully it has to be a challenge for Tom as well.

Re mental health: can you talk about how you can feel safe in a broken body or if you can? I struggle with health anxiety, and it's hard to ever really relax in a body that is so unpredictable and can't always do basic functions on its own. Because of this, even my good days are tinged with fear of the next relapse or crisis. I have been to many therapists over the years, and some of my anxieties are so much better, but not this one issue.

Hey Amy , I know that you said you are planing on getting your hip done, and coming from a family who 1/2 have done the same I have some advice. My mom did one hip at a time while my sister did both at the same time. Both have said that doing them at the same time is best for your mental health, because the aftermath of the surgery is pretty unpleasant. My mom said by splitting them up she knew what to expect on the second hip surgery, and she was terrified. She recommended doing the both at the same time. Love you lots!

Mental health question: do you find that your fear of dying is worse after all you’ve been through? you might actually qualify for Newstart Allowance (depending on Toms income) and be placed with a disability management service, after being with them for 18 months you will qualify for DSP. No one straight up qualifies for DSP until they have worked with DMS or DES for 18 months...

Hey Amy! I really enjoy watching your videos and don't mind the titles being a bit clickbaity because I totally understand your situation (I'm unable to work die to mental illnesses myself)
I actually have a question for the mental health q&a. How do you, from a standpoint of someone with an illness that makes you physically unable to eat, feel about (restrictive) eating disorders? I struggle with anorexia and sometimes it makes me quite embarrassed that I "just starve myself on purpose" while others physically can't eat, eventhough I actually know that anorexia is an illness just as valid as any other illness, my selfdoubt and society make it hard to believe that. Do you have an opinion on that? Also do you think your physical illnesses could ever lead to disordered eating (if you could/can eat again) and cause disordered thoughts? Because that would be my biggest fear! If you don't want to talk about it that' perfectly fine!
    Lots of love ❤

Amy's Life I’m the same way. We have a lot to deal with. Everything from taking a shower in the morning to getting into pjs at night takes longer when you have a central line and feeding tubes. If they accidentally get pulled out it’s emergency surgery time🥵! While tpn does keep you alive, people don’t talk much about the mental changes it causes. One being a processing lag that’s hard to describe, where you know exactly what to do or say but the muscles in your body are moving slower than your brain is. All of those along with unrelenting pain can cause depression central in your head. On the other hand, we have felt so shitty for so long that we get very excited and happy just to be able to accomplish anything that most people don’t think twice about like being able to sit with your family at dinner and not vomit 🤮 uncontrollably.

While I am subscribed to some UA-camrs who are guilty of clickbait, I don't at all think you are one. Your titles always apply to your video and what we will see and I've never felt confused/misled by them. I would like to ask for your mental health Q&A if you think you struggle more with your OCD when certain events are going on around you (i.e. hospital stay, financial trouble, family trouble) or if it is fairly constant no matter what is going on in your daily life?

Question about mental health: I have anxiety. Like bad (when it decides to show up😠) mostly medical based anxiety(I feel like I diagnose myself with some new ailment every week🤦‍♀️) BUT sometimes I'll go a week or even 2 weeks and feel fine. But sometimes I feel like I'm just crazy and just don't actually have anxiety even though I know I do because I have a few good weeks every now and again. Have you ever felt this way? Does anyone ever get this way. I'm fairly new to my mental illness from years of just ignoring it and not worrying about my health at all. If that makes sense! I'm finally seeking medical Help with my doctor. I go in 6 days and I'm so so so nervous! Not particularly with getting help but that the doctor will just look at me and tell me I have some sort of terminal illness ( I know I'm nuts 🤷‍♀️) but please say a word for me I'm not religious but I need some good juju sent my way. Love your videos and thank you for being a super sweet and genuine person!

van p i can feel the same way too sometimes , these feelings can come in waves where you feel fine and think you were just overreacting and then BOOM hell on earth lol . You’re not alone in the slightest ,I’m fairly new to this as well I’m not religious either but I’ll put positive thoughts up for you good luck !

Do you ever suffer from debilitation caused by mental illness. I've noticed you seem very clean and organized higenicaly and in your surroundings but has it always been that way? Did you ever just not care anymore when you were feeling depressed.

I hate when people wine about click bait videos. That’s literally the point of UA-cam. When you post a video, you want people to see it, therefore the reason you tubers make clickbait titles.

The before and after picture of you in hospital and you putting the top on really wasn’t a massive difference other than to me the top sits way better now and you have bigger boobs which Tom must love ... and you don’t look poorly ,.. I’m a fool though when it comes to weight I’m silly I can see some jeans and think oh they look massive and then they fit 🤨which you are like great 👍 I’m not big but I do feel it inside and no matter who says I’m not I just think your only happy with yourself when your happy it really isn’t the mirror or the scales it’s what you feel like and I choose not to use mirrors and scales at all so I have no clue of my weight ... only every bloody changing room has mirrors 😫xx
