How dare anybody have a go at you? Your rant is understandable but that person needs to shut the heck up. I subscribe to your channel because you’re a strong, brave, resilient, determined, lovely young woman, who handles chronic illness fantastically. I always say Walk a mile in my shoes before you speak out. Ignore them Amy, you’re a 🌟

I agree, and honestly I think UA-cam is work, within the entertainment industry. In addition to that she spreads information about quite important stuff

This is exactly what I thought! Some people think that you’re not sick unless it’s visible or something. Like you have to be in a wheelchair 24/7 for them to accept that you can’t have a ‘normal’ job. I have chronic nerve pain and this costs me so much energy and people just don’t understand that, it’s very frustrating. So Amy’s rant is absolute understandable! And UA-cam is a real job. It’s not just filming your life. It’s a lot of editing, thinking of new content, giving up a part of your privacy etc. I love you Amy and you inspire me very much! 😘

@@thestoryofrenate3193 I agree. I have 2. (Muscles and nerves) I have experienced the same. If they can't see that you are ill then you "must" not be. It makes me so angry while I am in pain and exhausted every day from it.
Amy if you read this keep up the great work. I love watching you and your journey it helps me get through all mine and I want to find the courage to put my story and stuff online. Plus I don't know where to start. You are so strong and amazing.

    • @angelaturk7409
      @angelaturk7409 5 років тому

@@thestoryofrenate3193 I know exactly how you feel! I live severe chronic pain (fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis). The nerve pain is excruciating and like you said, because people can't "see" my illness, I get judged all the time. And ppl have no idea how much it hurts to be judged when all I want to do is be normal, work a full time job and be as active as I was in my 20's. But that's not going to happen. So I stand beside you and tell all those haters to look closely at themselves first before judging my, or anybody elses life! God Bless you ❤

Because she has got an army of people that love her for her strength and humbleness with what she deals with daily. The job thing resonated SO HARD, I worked from a young age too.. up until I was nearly 20 and then I lost my job from being hospitalised and I never got well enough to go back to work. I ended up studying at uni for a while but ended up dropping out at 21 due to just not being able to physically or mentally cope with it on top of my health 😩I'm trying to figure out ways I can make money at home, but cognitively I can't deal with much due to brain fog and pain.
Your job is 100% valid, if not more valid than a retail job or something, as you are raising awareness and changing peoples lives for the better by doing it. You are helping people in so many different ways by simply sharing your experiences, I really admire the way you cope with your illnesses and help other people cope 💕
    Truly an icon ✨

Being in the medical field is exhausting, im a nurse, let alone trying to be in it with a chronic illness- your right it would be too physical- some of the stuff we deal with is actually insane! I think pathology would really suit you!!! I see you working with children for some reason, you are so kind and ability to empathise would be really useful!
I love how you want to give back to the medical world, and i hope this time round you can make it through the course, TPN has really helped you in that respect- its given you your life back!!!

Amy, I've had to stop talking to long time friends due to their views on welfare. While I was working(like you, I started young, at the age of 17), I paid into the "system": Medicare, social security, ect... I paid my share! Now that I'm disabled, I'm getting what I paid into the "system", plus the $15 per month in foodstamps. Apparently, this makes me a lazy person according to many people I used to know. Personally, I would gladly trade them alllll my illnesses for the opportunity to go back to work. I miss the career I had.

Anyone who criticizes you can go "Sod Off" and get them some darn business. I know what having a chronic illness is like, and simple things can easily wear us out. Doing a full-time outside job would be too much for you right now. Any job you do that pays you is considered "Working" be it editing or whatever. Those critical INSTAGRAMERS aren't feeding you or paying for your living. Apparently those people who judge you have absolutely "NO LIFE". You're amazing!!!

Obviously you don’t show UA-cam all of your highs & lows and the real gritty parts of your illness but you really put out good informative content for people dealing with tubes/ other things you deal with & even just general enjoyable content for people regardless if they’re looking for medical advice or whatever. Your steering wheel looks so good!!! I have a cover over mine and don't wear makeup, but I can see how over time it could get caked up. Were your cramps intestinal or more like period cramps? I wonder if you could keep some of those little heat packs to keep in your car? But perhaps the heat from summer could cause them to go bad; not sure. NM, you just said the same thing lol. Also, I just noticed your phone case isn't the Harry Potter one you just got. Maybe this video was filmed first, though? I LOVE Jodi Picoult novels. Have you read Plain Truth, My Sisters Keeper and 19 Minutes? Those are some of my favorites, but they are all good!!!
I love that you lent your friend money to take care of his cat. You are absoultely the best!!! I just love seeing how big your heart is in these clips of your life. I can only imagine how much extra you do that we will never know about!!!

You honestly kept me going when we were trying to work out why I was suddenly extremely fatigued and in pain - eventually diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I had to quit my job and drop my uni hours significantly even though I wanted to work and study like "normal". I have big dreams - midwife in Japan - which right now are hard to accomplish but if you just mope you're not going to get anywhere. You inspire and live by example that chronic illnesses don't have to stop - sure you might need to make modifications but hey, what's the big deal if you get there in the end? UA-cam is totally a job if you are working hard and have a schedule - some don't but a lot do. There are so many different things people can be in the world, I don't know why they chose to be rude and mean.

Well you are my favorite YT personality! I have two autoimmune diseases so I have not worked since 2012. At first I felt useless but I quickly found things to do. Also I'm the one that was going to send you the goldfish crackers. They should be getting there shortly. I dont know how long it takes from Texas to Australia and was not told at the post office. Please stay your beautiful self!!!💖

I can't work either due to effects of chiari malformation. I've just started vlogging in the last six months and I LOVE it. It gives me a sense of purpose, of being productive and accomplishing something. Honestly, somewhere down the road I would love if I could earn a few dollars here and there from my vlogs but if not, I still love making them. :) Hope you're well today Amy, love from Canada :)

Girl, my teeth used to be perfect before chemo and gastroparesis. Always getting sick and different meds have just ruined mine its so depressing. My dad is a dentist and that still doesnt help my situation. Love your vlogs. Happy early Valentines Day beautiful!!!! People who are negative to you arent worth your time!!!!!!

Hello sweet Amy. I just wanted to say I think you're fantastic, kind, informative, and so gorgeous. People are just mean and cruel in this world. Keep doing you and pushing through. You're amazing...😘 Big fan from Georgia in the U.S.

That’s a shame people judge you. One day they will have health issues and then they will see! I can’t work either because of my heart, back and fibromyalgia. And I’ve worked for yrs and loved it. But now I can’t. So just ignore those who have no compassion cause they aren’t worth a breath ♥️🤗

I hate when people say things to me about being unable to work cause I get disability. They always say you're too young to be that sick. Struggles of invisible chronic illness. Then when I have to use my cane they all stare at me.

I so know how you feel hun!!! I get them all the time. I've peed myself and blood clots as big as a quarter. I also haven't had a period in 7 years. And I'm not bulemic or anorexic.... I'm COMPLETELY sick and we're... Me and my stepmom.... Think I have EDS and Wilson's Disease. And I messed up my hip, ancle, and back. So EDS doesn't help..... I was serious when I said you are my hero. I have 36 subscribers..... And I'm just so awkward on tape... Love you lots... Becky
