I so love seeing mops and buckets included as props in the choreography!! I'm remembering when a Broadway revival left out the buckets...kids were great, but those buckets just had to be there!! Well done!

They were really singing live. Hence why it's called "Annie Live." ☺

@@DBR00 Most likely tucked away in their costumes. Some of them were probably miked from behind and it's all hidden in their outfits. And I think some actors also had hidden mics on their chests as well. In addition to other hidden mics that surrounded the stage itself for additional support. There's quite a lot of musicals/stage plays that do this you know. 🎤☺️

I wouldn’t have a problem if it weren’t for the boy in the dress, that just ensures to me they are woke people trying to send a political message through kids which is weird. Kids should not be used as political pawns.

Yeah this was a mess. Too angry. Bizarre orchestrations and the dance moves were way too hootchie momma/ club night/acrobatic circus to be the musical "Annie" It is well understood that "Annie" is a strict stereotype casting and when that is altered it just falls out if bed. No matter how good anyone is in the role. It is based on a comic strip that has its own post Hoover/ stock market crash damaged USA message. Its also a period old world Pre-war setting so it is a rather difficult show to play around with.The same with Oliver. The musical spirit however transcends in set numbers...but the entire dramatic effect of the show is a minefield to reimagine.
