it sounds great but my anti-gold bias disinclines me toward gassing for it... but yes, lincoln is awesome and i'm really glad to see him getting a little recognition.
I’m just glad he finally settled on a “finished” product! He started working with Fender on a signature Strat a LONG time ago. He’s had numerous prototypes that he’s been touring with for YEARS to figure out what his signature Strat was going to be. Each of his prototypes have been gigged so heavily, modded by his techs, and just played on so hard, they all look battered! And that’s not a custom shop relic job! Each of his prototypes looked brand new when he first received them. Honestly, with how long he’s been gigging with these prototypes, I thought he’d never actually get to the point of his signature Strat actually getting released!

I play guitar at my church and anytime we get a song that has a Lincoln Brewster version, I will ALWAYS model what I play after his version. He’s quite the player.
I would definitely rock that axe! I saw Lincoln when he toured with Steve Perry & he was outstanding!! This guy plays with so much feel it’s amazing & he can shred too!! He was playing through a couple old Marshall plexi heads live & his tone was incredible. Lincoln Brewster really is very worthy of a signature model guitar. Great vid!!
I've been a fan of Lincoln for a long time now. I would totally rock that guitar and might just pick one up. Also his hometown of Homer (and Alaska in general) is BREATHTAKINGLY beautiful.
Okay I did not know that he toured with the lead singer of Journey, I learned something new. Lincoln Brewster is super talented and even if you're not part of the church scene he is a really good singer and a really good guitarist. You still need to do a show on one of these, I swear mine is better than any other non custom shop ever made! It’s like a super Eric Clapton Strat on steroids ! The best neck I’ve ever played with the Soft V profile and 10-14 fretboard radius. Mine also weighs about 6 1/2 pounds too with the select lightweight Ash body and the onboard booster is amazing !
After the first time I played one, I got literally furious. Like why are they holding out on us? It should be on every modern production electric guitar they make and the square heel should be reserved for vintage reissues only. It should have been this way the moment it was put on a single production model.
I’ve really looked up to him as a guitarist over the years, mostly cause when my worship band would play his songs I’d have to learn his solos and this dude SHREDS. Like no joke. Glad he got his own guitar.
I love mine! One of the best guitars I’ve ever owned! I’ve owned a lot of great guitars, including several Fender Signature models… this blows them all out of the water. It’s just a great sounding Strat! When used in humbucker mode sounds just as heavy as my Gibson V. I’m using a Mesa Mark 5 90 watt head, and Mesa cab. Super versatile… you can also use in single coil mode and sounds like a normal Strat! Very impressed by this guitar
I may not be a big strat guy, but the way that my favorite guitarist set the guitar up, i would use it in a heartbeat for the worship teams that i play with
Good on you for mentioning Lincoln. He is the real deal and all I've heard of him is that he is great guy. Check out his work on Steve Perry's "For The Love of Strange Medicine" or any of his solo albums, particularly his self-titled album and "Today Is The Day" release.
I love the 57 for the neck shape. Finish is awesome on this one too. Pickups sound awesome, and the whammy bar seems to stay right where it needs to. Not falling all over like mine. I'd rock it for sure.

Lincoln has been working on this guitar for AGES! I’ve run sound for him numerous times and he’d let me play his prototype that he’d have with him for any given tour. The first time I played with one of his prototypes was easily 12 YEARS ago! Hopefully after such a LONG time that he’s spent refining his design, it’s turned out good. Honestly, I’m willing to bet it’s one of the best Strats Fender currently offers. Lincoln is a players player. He pays attention to the small things and I could see him not compromising on anything unless it’s perfect to him. I hope I get a chance to check one out. Sadly, I’m doubtful even our Guitar Center has one in stock. Oh, this makes more sense when I let you know that I live in Modesto CA!
Actually, now that I’ve looked at the specs and see that it has the mid boost circuit, I honestly have to wonder if I didn’t influence that aspect of the design as the last time I ran sound for one of his shows a few years back his prototypes at the time did not have this feature and I was telling his guitar tech about how I have one in my Strat and how much versatility it added by being able to get those classic Strat clean tones AND be able to achieve FAR more distortion than normal without having to go one way or the other... hmmmm...
Thanks Trogly for all that information, I saw yesterday his Fender video, and yes, I asked myself "who's that guy?" His signature strat has very nice features I think. And it's beautiful, I have a Jazz Bass same colour, with white pickups covers, It's a '67 replica made with Allparts body, and maple neck, old logo with reverse tuners, AND...super french handwound "Hepcat pickups" from Paris, sounds great, a little expensive but real vintage vibe, does great guitar pickups too !
Very cool ....guitar ...and he is a fine player ..and Fender is showing they are paying attention since live music clubs are going away ....so many of the churches in our area have some great players and they really are into gear !!
Oh yes I surely would rock the Lincoln Strat...that Area 58 has impressed me as much as DiMarzio's Virtual Solo and having said that I'm looking for either one to make a complete set with a pair of Virtual Vintage Blues neck & middle pickups I already have for my current Strat!
The 9.5 to 14 and the contour where the neck meets the body has been out for a long time on the Strat and Tele. The Elite series all have them and does the Deluxe. Eric Johnson chose those on his sig model as well I believe,

Lincoln Brewster was a hired gun all through the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s. You'd be surprised to what he's been featured on, of corse he was muisc minister, youth pastor, and I guess now hes a pastor, but he played and toured with Mac Powell and Third day for years, along with other prominent Christian bands, and he even had a very scessful solo career as well. Alot of people call him the Christan Eddie Van Hallen, but Lincoln Brewster is also an incredible vocalist in his own right. Dude is the real deal. And yes i would rock his strat, its basically a super strat that looks like a regular strat, its the Clark Kent of super strats.
I used to cover his song "Everlasting God" in my church youth group regularly. It was one of the only songs I actually wanted to play because of the guitar solo
How to find weight relief inside guitar bodies! Put the guitar body on an electric blanket, 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the room and the guitar. Still totally safe temp. Do not wrap! just put back against blanket. Observe the top of the guitar with thermal camera. While heating. Wait... The air in cavities will not transmit heat as well as the solid parts of the guitar and will stay colder. The solid parts will transmit heat through to the top.
Imagine a lumpy chicken thigh on a griddle. Only the parts touching the griddle cook, the portions with air under them stay cold, or at least less cooked. If I'm right, guitars taste like chicken. If I'm wrong, the guitar is cooked goose!
Lincoln runs some kind of line 6 modeler thing (or maybe some other brand) and has for years now (I only know this from videos on here) ... but there is footage of him at some huge Christian thing in a Stadium playing Marshalls years ago.

Looks like a great guitar, definitly would get one. They should offer a vintage white with rosewood version and eliminate the string tree too.
Definitely would rock this one. Nice axe!! Thanks Austin!!
Good for Fender. And btw: Jesus rules. Nothing to do with "religion." It's "righteousness" ...
Love Lincoln and love that color.
Rock! I put a Dimarzio stacked humbucker in my first guitar--a well used Olympic white 74 Strat. It sounded good.
the active preamps remind me of EMG's EXG and SA controls... great pups
I am buying one . Great player,great guitar !
Rock it. Love the understated look and the fact that it not a relic job...👍🐨🇦🇺
I think this guitar is awesome. And for all those who don’t know about Lincoln Brewster, look him up. He is an amazing guitarist.
I would rock it. Great sounding Guitar
I have seen Lincoln many times and he is worth the tribute.
Watch Lincoln play the national anthem on you tube.
I really dig his playing, super expressive!
I'd swap the bridge for a Vega-Trem but that's something I'd definitely rock
Didn't know he was a pastor, but definitely know he's a phenomenal shredder.
Definitely would and definitely will rock this guitar 🎸
Totally would rock it. I feel like fender should start recessing the heels on all of their non-vintage/traditional models.
Would totally rock this guitar.
Punky Brewster lol. I’d totally rock this guitar and make use of the mods, though I usually like traditional designs. Aztec Gold is great too!
That built in preamp is a cool feature.
WE LOVE OUT LINCOLN BREWSTER WOOOOOO! Wait, Punky Brewster**
I used to cover his song "Everlasting God" in my church youth group regularly. It was one of the only songs I actually wanted to play because of the guitar solo
Heaven yeahhh I would rock that Strat!
And if I’m not mistaken. He runs a Marshall amps and yes as a worship guitarist I myself would. Even though I go more for the U2 kind of tones
Lincoln runs some kind of line 6 modeler thing (or maybe some other brand) and has for years now (I only know this from videos on here) ... but there is footage of him at some huge Christian thing in a Stadium playing Marshalls years ago.
Not a big fan of the looks but WOW. That guitar sounds amazing! He's also done a great job playing for the demo.
