Susie, thank you so much for stressing the LNT practice...too many of my prospective camp sites were ruined by the amount of trash and other vile items left by irresponsible people in otherwise gorgeous camping areas. I usually carry a contractor bag in my backpack to pick up trash, good to know about the larger ziploc bags. That was hilarious about filming yourself doing something stupid; guess I'd better review, uh, edit my videos just in case :) OMG! When the trees are rockin'...don't come knockin'. You guys are too funny. Great adventure with humor, love it!

Always good to see Suzie on the videos. No fire? “BUMMER” One
of the things I like most about camping is setting around the campfire. Suzie
thanks for your segment on leave no trace. I too am a big advocate for
conservation, “No more expansion.” Humans have already taken over more than our
    share of this planet.

susie, very awesome.....your talk about the trash situation, THANK YOU for that announcement, when my grandson and i go out shooting, every since the very first time he went out with me, i always preach to him how important it is to keep our lands clean, so now, not only do we clean our own mess up, but we always pick up a size able portion of all the trash that all the assholes leave behind for others to deal with, yeah it really chaps my hide when i see how people want to use the lands, but don't seem to give a crap about taking care of them. 🤬🤬🤬.

Hi Guys, great adventure! I've been a Civil/Environmental Engineer for almost 30 years and can say without any doubt that anything humans touch they ruin. Therefore, your pristine forest will be ruined once the State/Federal guys put there plan into action. Also, those community meetings and comment & question sessions they offer are required by law. I've been to many of these types of "community meetings" through the years for remediation projects I've worked on and they are typically for show . Once they decide as an organization to move forward with a project they typically do. Yes they may take some of your minor suggestions and work them into the plan but for the most part it's a done deal unless you file a lawsuit and happen to win. FYI, Frogs give me the creeps, YIKES! Keep up the good work.

I'm with you Susie. Hot hot hot is only way to drink coffee or tea. I enjoy seeing the two of you together but also understand some alone times. Susie thank you for reminding people about their trash. We need natural place to camp. I use a hammock and actually since I can no longer backpack due to being on a walker I can still go solo to a primitive spot. I have been online for 3 weeks now looking for primitive sites. And all I seem to find is for Rvs and those with campers. I just want a little spot with a few nice trees and maybe a fire pit. A place where I can just listen to nature and proving very hard to find.

I just did a scooter camping overnight test run, I ended up at my local campground, and it was crowded. I ended up with a large family feet away from me, making a lot of noise all night long. I definitely like to be alone. Motorcycle/scooter camping is definitely a fun way to go. I also prefer the cooler temperatures. I bought the Alps Mountaineer Lynx one tent, and it’s a very cool one. Thanks for doing some videos on that tent, Luke.

Love hennessy hammocks...i use the snake skins for straps, tarp and guyline. i found this allows you to setup under a shelter first if its raining AND if your tarp is wet when you need to take down -hammock doesn't get wet with it when you put it away. I use a separate waterproof bag for hammock and sleeping bag to just roll it all together and stuff. EZ game, EZ life. Thanks for this!

Awesome to see you and Susie back out on the trail again
Nothing like sleeping in a hammock
I usually get anywhere between 10 and 13 hours of sleep
Then in the next morning had that wonderful breakfast from the hammock
Pack up everything in back on home
But for me it's bikepacking and they are not short rides
Like this weekend if the weather still permits
I will be riding for exactly four hours even knowing that the trail says or in this case the Google map says two hours 50 minutes 31 miles one waybut I also know there's going to be a lot of very large hills before I get to my bike Park
And that Park is Hampton hills metro Park mountain bike area which is in Ohio Cuyahoga valley at the 3/4 Mark to Akron

I liked the surprise, unannounced appearance of Suzie at the beginning of this video. The Peak Refuel Sweet Pork & Rice contained 40 grams of protein & 800 calories, definitely enough food for 2 people per pouch. You'll never get that much protein or food from any other brand of Freeze Fried meals. Mountain House contains 1/2 that much in the way of protein or calories.

The reason it's so dark in the forest is because their are more trees surrounding the forest that it blocks out the sun. I'm like susie,I like the fall and spring of the year. I hate her summers and dislike real cold winters. I've always heard if you have a real hot summer you'll have a mild winter and if you have a mild summer ,you'll have a bad winter. Or something like that and I'm an old folk luke. Also if the squirrels started taking in acorns pretty early it means winter will happen early. Love you two.
