"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should." Truer words are rarely spoken.
Language of the oppressor.
I guess it depends on the context.
L boring.
Yes, but just because I shouldn't, doesen't mean I won't :DDD
@@jarlbalgruufthegreater1758 This is my scout groups motto I crap you not
My husband and I just bought a go pro 8 and are going on our first hike in the White mountains of N.H next week. You have inspired us. We are older and probably won't get to far, but we will try. Love all your stuff
Enjoy your adventure
Susie, thank you so much for stressing the LNT practice...too many of my prospective camp sites were ruined by the amount of trash and other vile items left by irresponsible people in otherwise gorgeous camping areas. I usually carry a contractor bag in my backpack to pick up trash, good to know about the larger ziploc bags. That was hilarious about filming yourself doing something stupid; guess I'd better review, uh, edit my videos just in case :) OMG! When the trees are rockin'...don't come knockin'. You guys are too funny. Great adventure with humor, love it!
You two crack me up. Susie adds a special something to the channel. 💜
Always good to see Suzie on the videos. No fire? “BUMMER” One
of the things I like most about camping is setting around the campfire. Suzie
thanks for your segment on leave no trace. I too am a big advocate for
conservation, “No more expansion.” Humans have already taken over more than our
share of this planet.
I camp to get away from everyone. I love to find the perfect forgotten trail. So much to explore 👍🏻 Cheers
You two are incredible, I see a lot of my wife's and I's adventures in the way you two interact, and I love watching it! Keep doing what you're doing!
I love your backpacking videos featuring the two of you.
You two make an awesome couple. I wish i had a partner that loved wild camping same as me that we could explore together. Keep the videos coming 👌
Love how you both support one another on your adventures. Incredible amazing journeys in the wilderness. Blessings always. Love your wife Suzy.
Glad to see y’all out .
The whole world over is tearing nature apart in the guise of progress for all. I'm with you Suzie n Luke let's leave nature alone the way it was created so we can enjoy its natural beauty. Great adventure guys. Bushyboy Oz.
I appreciate you showing us the wrapping up of the hammock - I’ve never used one and it was neat to see you wrapping it up. Great to see Susie! You are both very lovely.
Well said. It's hard to find backcountry camping sites that are people free. You are not alone in wanting the solitude! Thanks for sharing the fun and the frogs!
susie, very awesome.....your talk about the trash situation, THANK YOU for that announcement, when my grandson and i go out shooting, every since the very first time he went out with me, i always preach to him how important it is to keep our lands clean, so now, not only do we clean our own mess up, but we always pick up a size able portion of all the trash that all the assholes leave behind for others to deal with, yeah it really chaps my hide when i see how people want to use the lands, but don't seem to give a crap about taking care of them. 🤬🤬🤬.
Hi Guys, great adventure! I've been a Civil/Environmental Engineer for almost 30 years and can say without any doubt that anything humans touch they ruin. Therefore, your pristine forest will be ruined once the State/Federal guys put there plan into action. Also, those community meetings and comment & question sessions they offer are required by law. I've been to many of these types of "community meetings" through the years for remediation projects I've worked on and they are typically for show . Once they decide as an organization to move forward with a project they typically do. Yes they may take some of your minor suggestions and work them into the plan but for the most part it's a done deal unless you file a lawsuit and happen to win. FYI, Frogs give me the creeps, YIKES! Keep up the good work.
I'm with you Susie. Hot hot hot is only way to drink coffee or tea. I enjoy seeing the two of you together but also understand some alone times. Susie thank you for reminding people about their trash. We need natural place to camp. I use a hammock and actually since I can no longer backpack due to being on a walker I can still go solo to a primitive spot. I have been online for 3 weeks now looking for primitive sites. And all I seem to find is for Rvs and those with campers. I just want a little spot with a few nice trees and maybe a fire pit. A place where I can just listen to nature and proving very hard to find.
TOTALLY AGREE with you guys about the land. Any development should be done in EXTREME moderation.
I really enjoyed this. Thanks
Good to see you two hanging with the toads, hammock camping is so relaxing.
Relaxing with a Belgian Trappist and a TOGR video. My fridaynight does not get any better.
Hammock camping is the best. No more back pain, no more headaches, just plain comfy. Keep in mind insulation underneath you... it becomes IMPORTANT! Need to plan a trip myself
Enjoyed the trip with y'all and look forward to the next!
Luke, thank you for another adventure. I’m stuck at home in this pandemic and you bring such relief.
Thanks for taking us along.
I now think that i watch you (all) because of your great relationship -- wonderful.
Love my hammocks!
I started out years ago with Hennessey Hammocks and they have given me excellent service - both the Company and the products.
Great to see you both out looking forward to going again myself and hubby can't wait some well deserve get away hopefully soon stay safe 😀😎
Pleasing too see your loving relationship with Suzie and with nature. Enjoy my friends xx
Great video. Love the frogs
Hello Luke, Hello Suzie. Love the show
I am really enjoying the two of you on trips together and the love you show each other I’m a widow 24 yr now and I miss that companionship love and sharing my husband was all about being in the country and with the wildlife he liked to hunt but hated to kill he was in the military and I believe he seen so much killing in Vietnam......I totally agree with you about carrying out your trash but as you know not all people clean up after themselves and as far as camping and not being around people well I’m with you on that you work you are around people all the time the last thing you want to do is spend your weekend with a bunch of people that are usually drinking being loud and getting noisy... I’m excited I found this trip and is sure like to have someone to do theses kind of things with ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌈🌈🌈🌈
You guys are a beautiful couple, it just makes me smile. 😊
Hello Luke & Susie, thank you for sharing this adventure, I can't wait to get my hammock for my adventures, love it when Susie gets her coffee aka (molten lava), I have a friend Kris Ann who likes her coffee the same way. Awesome hammock set up by the way. I can't wait until the next adventure. Take care stay healthy an God bless you an your Family always.
Great episode guys keep em coming~!
Hey Luke and Susan the frogs were so cool love listening to them hope y'all are well much love your way be safe have a wonderful day
Those “frogs” are what we’ve always called common toads in our area.
Thats not a toad, thats Pete.
That was really cute you two! Nice little getaway!
Loved the bit of banter 🙂 I’m sure your drinking more the coffee 👍 and the other stuff you said was 100 percent right xxx
Love how you guys are matching! Lol
Fall camping is the best with the cooler temps and the leaves changing colors..
Love your content, thanks for sharing on this adventure 😀
Awesome video thank you for sharing
I LOVE YOU TWO! All your adventures are awesome, but this one was super sweet! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!🤗❤️🤗
Thank you for the video..Have a blessed day..
Thank you for the "pack out your trash" service announcement. I also really liked the zip-lock garbage tip. I think your adventures are better with Susie too.
Thanks to both of you for another cool adventure...and frogs...outstanding..
Nice to see u guys camping together
Love the co-camping vids.
One of my most memorable hikes was miles up a creek on Stone Mountain in North Carolina.
Beautiful scenery.
Another fun trip! Cool frogs!
I just did a scooter camping overnight test run, I ended up at my local campground, and it was crowded. I ended up with a large family feet away from me, making a lot of noise all night long. I definitely like to be alone. Motorcycle/scooter camping is definitely a fun way to go. I also prefer the cooler temperatures. I bought the Alps Mountaineer Lynx one tent, and it’s a very cool one. Thanks for doing some videos on that tent, Luke.
I know a lot of people use their cloths in a bag for a pillow and i use to do the same until i found the therm-a-rest compressible pillow. That thing completely changed the game for me. You should definitely check it out!
Enjoyed the company of both of you! "Strength & Honour" to you both as well, God bless!
Love hennessy hammocks...i use the snake skins for straps, tarp and guyline. i found this allows you to setup under a shelter first if its raining AND if your tarp is wet when you need to take down -hammock doesn't get wet with it when you put it away. I use a separate waterproof bag for hammock and sleeping bag to just roll it all together and stuff. EZ game, EZ life. Thanks for this!
Just loving your videos. Just found your channel in the last week or so and having fun binge watching. I also look for the areas that are less traveled as light and simple as I can. It breaks my soul when they keep developing the remote areas I love so much. I keep thinking I may not be able to reach these areas myself but I want them there for my grandkids.
I love when Susan can make the adventure!!!! And you guys bring conservation and tons of knowledge!!! And are fun!! Frogs!!!not so cray cray on the Walmart pack!!!!yes they are " technically" toads
I enjoy your videos. Never been camping a day in my life but I have so much fun watching you and your badass chicka. Keep'em coming.
Cant beat a hammock camp. I will be out in mine Saturday. 😎👍
Awesome to see you and Susie back out on the trail again
Nothing like sleeping in a hammock
I usually get anywhere between 10 and 13 hours of sleep
Then in the next morning had that wonderful breakfast from the hammock
Pack up everything in back on home
But for me it's bikepacking and they are not short rides
Like this weekend if the weather still permits
I will be riding for exactly four hours even knowing that the trail says or in this case the Google map says two hours 50 minutes 31 miles one waybut I also know there's going to be a lot of very large hills before I get to my bike Park
And that Park is Hampton hills metro Park mountain bike area which is in Ohio Cuyahoga valley at the 3/4 Mark to Akron
You guys are an awesome couple!!!!
I love the uneven and overgrown areas, it means usually I'll be alone and because I use a hammock the state of the ground is mostly irrelevant. It depends how high off the ground I want to be which in its self depends if I'm cooking.
Thanks again, it was a lot of fun....
I'm worth Suzie!!! I live in AZ and would never consider summer camping!!! Now a resort with a pool... yassss!
Loved your view on the changes of the park. I agree leave it alone! Let mother nature keep the area! Those area's belong to the animals!
Thanks for the video! solo stove / twig stove for those days when you can't have a legal fire.
Huge hello from sunny Liverpool England yep we have sun haha 😂😂 hope everyone is ok an staying safe 👍👍
I hope you two do more trips together. You are right they should leave it alone.
Great! Overnight in a hammock. Fun to see you both again... with your new friends, the frogs lolll! on a new outdoor adventure.
You made me laugh during your coffee moment with Susie and when she was talking about her palace.
Great video , nice to see you both out enjoying the nice weather. Stay safe
great vid luke i love the background music
' I need all of the coffee...' cried the Wolf in the morning...
100% with you on winter camping vs. summer camping.
you two are awesome
Another great adventure. Thanks guys for sharing. Rod. ( holler hound ).
Always love your style of camping and hiking,, your videos are the best of the best,,reviews are awesome,,
very entertaining,,keep them coming.
Thanks 👍
“Lots of pressure” 🤣 ahh you’re the man Luke 😂
it has been a very muggy several months. Susie, I am with you about the cooler weather.
Amen brother......the east coast has felt like a rainforest
I agree, I come alive in the fall.
So sorry your beautiful, remote area will be changed forever. So true "just because you can doesn't mean you should." Wish more people felt the way the two of you do. Nature can only endure so much. On a happier note, you two are really fun!!
Luke & Laura thinking...hammock camping in the woods, how cool!!
🐻thinks...mmmmm, soft tacos for dinner!!!
...GOOD ONE, HAPPY CAMPING AND KEEP SAFE..
Love your channel, subscribed. Thanks for doing this. So far, the best review channel on the internet. I know it's extra work but one thing I really love is the list of major gear items you sometimes give in the description below the video, very useful.
Outstanding Luke you being honest
I liked the surprise, unannounced appearance of Suzie at the beginning of this video. The Peak Refuel Sweet Pork & Rice contained 40 grams of protein & 800 calories, definitely enough food for 2 people per pouch. You'll never get that much protein or food from any other brand of Freeze Fried meals. Mountain House contains 1/2 that much in the way of protein or calories.
Thanks once again for another great video 👍 I hope your right about the grass bring on the snow
I agree with Suzy, summer hiking does add extra exertion because of the heat and humidity here in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Normally I am working 24/7 in the summer but with COVID I’m not working as much so hiking more. Will be happy to get back to my normal fall hikes.
Luke, Love your passion! 😂
The reason it's so dark in the forest is because their are more trees surrounding the forest that it blocks out the sun. I'm like susie,I like the fall and spring of the year. I hate her summers and dislike real cold winters. I've always heard if you have a real hot summer you'll have a mild winter and if you have a mild summer ,you'll have a bad winter. Or something like that and I'm an old folk luke. Also if the squirrels started taking in acorns pretty early it means winter will happen early. Love you two.
Great video guys. Very nice looking hammock. Looks like a very interesting trip
My wife just said, "Luke should make a line of gear."
Great video bud! Keep up the good work!
Nice trip you two!
“I think we can pull the trees out of the ground” ha ha lol
Good one! Nice video! Fun Adventure!
My husband talked me into subscribing, glad I did. We hammock camp all the time. I have a Hennessey as well and have a quick "put away tip" which will make your task so much quicker. Start your roll up from one corner and do so diagonally. Doing so creates and even roll so the snakes skins slide across with ease! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. ⬅️New fan.
Great music!
State parks, game lands, wildlife management areas are some of my favorite places to camp. Far fewer people realize that many states permit dispersed camping and they can be an easy chance to get away when conventional campgrounds fill up.
Love this cool trip with nature's protector's frog's or toad's. :) And good black snake's the mice catcher's.:) So happy to see you both get out to relax a bit so lovely.:) Be safe be well hug's toni g. and family. :) True what you bring to forest you should take out with you so true . :)
