[HD] Tales of Vesperia DE: Final Boss + Duke 3rd Form + Strategy Guide + Ending - HARD mode - Lvl 70

I purposely didn't use any Hourglass, All Divide and Limit Bottles for a personal challenge, but if you're struggling with my strategy in this video, you got those to fall back on and consider to make the fight more manageable.
This was my second ever attempt of the boss on my first playthrough of the game, having got my ass kicked first time by Duke's 3rd form. This was sweet revenge since I was able to make this personal strategy and was one of the very few bosses I didn't beat 1st try on Hard mode. This strategy works exactly the same on any difficulty.

If anyone was like me and grabbed Repede/Rita's Fell Arms last, leave the tower to trigger a cutscene when flying out 🙂 There are 9 in all with Flynn and Patty, but you NEED to fly out again to trigger a cutscene after getting your last one (happens after your 7th Fell Arms, then again after your 9th). Duke won't take them and go into his 3rd form till you trigger it!

So you don't need to equip fell arm to fight Duke huh?

How do you trigger dukes third form? I have all 9 fell arms but he won’t transform into his third form.

There’s actually 11 I think because of the 2 new characters so make sure you get those too ;-)
