I tried to face him the other day (on normal, even) and I couldn't manage to snag even, say, 5 hits off on him before he would just teleport across the ring. I beat the 3rd form of Duke (hard mode) with Yuri lvl81 and the rest of the party are lvl80, it took me 4 tries before I beat him. It was so hard but it’s not challenging if It’s on normal mode. At first I tried using rita, flynn, yuri and estelle, but I can’t beat him, so I tried changing rita with patty, then patty will only focus on magic artes and healing same with estelle. And flynn and yuri will spam duke with strike arts. Hahaha, it was really hard. Your video is cooler! 😁
Lmao I remember I wanted some good amount of grade from this battle and switched it to mania mode and kept getting beating but not badly and I was wondering why I couldn’t beat duke because I played that same battle at least 4 times before and never lost and I checked the difficulty and saw that it was on mania mode and I was “WTFFFFFFFF AND I WAS SO CLOSE TO BEATING HIM MAD TIMES” lmao no lie tho I already awakened the fell arms and GRINDEDDDDDDD EVERYONE SEPARATELY TO REACH THAT 9999 base attack
I barely beat him with my very underleveled party (Level 79). Had to always use potions that heal the party entirely. Thankfully, my party haven't been wiped out because someone always survived at 1 hp every time he uses his mystic artes.

Habe auch alle diese Waffen gesammelt, kann aber den Duke in seiner dritten Form nicht besiegen, was mich äußerst ärgert, da ich dann das Spiel durchgespielt hätte.
@@mmjj9893 I'm a bit late, but fighting RWO Duke doesn't change the ending at all. It's just an extra challenging final boss you can face if you put in the work for it.
Have estelle spam her healing artes while keeping her tp full and her revive whe ever possible. Only use the revival item on her. Duke isnt much of a threat outside of his mystic arte which he does spam, but it always leaves you at 1 hp. Having revitalize or nurse quick equipped will do wonders for the fight. You could also just go in as Rita and OVL Tidal wave yourself to victory
help, talk to the butler to get the female bathing suits, but when you go to halure, the magician who gives me the super aer conductor does not appear, is there any condition for it to appear?
Okay. When you reach 50% or more of the collector’s book, you have to go to Aspio and get a scene in the Library. After doing that, the magician should appear at the Halure fountain. If you don’t head to Aspio’s library for that scene before it’s disappears, the magician is not going to appear at Halure fountain.
Just gave up on this game cause that damn ai is just unacceptable no matter what u do if they aint standing there here comes rita to hit someone with their book
Just finished the Definitive Version after having bought on a steam sale. I played the "original" version on XBox 360 all those years ago and told everyone that Vesperia was the best tales of made thus far. I got to say: The XBox version is better. Yes I just said the restricted version is better and I honestly mean it. The issue is that a lot of the additional content is just bogging the game down. The pacing is now way slower, loses focus and the "new" character is horrible as it introduces all kinds of " mental leaps" which for me just breaks suspension of disbelieve not to mention I hate kids and was pleasantly surprised that the only annoying angsty kid in the Xbox version was Karol… I’m not a completionist but I did my fair share of side stuff. It took me 92 hours to get thru the definitive edition and there is still a ton of post game stuff to do probably good for another 10 to 20 hours. I remember finishing the original game in about 40 to 50 hours. That is roughly double the play time for the Definitive and I’m afraid to me it all feels like filler. I collected the fell arms in the Xbox version and beat the final form on the first walk thru. Which was an awesome surprise as I didn’t expected something to happen and had a fucking ass difficult fight. That is as far as I can tell not possible in the definitive edition as 3 fell arms are in a post game dungeon… which means the big “ha fuck you!” moment of the first playthru is gone. Overall the game is still good but the pacing issues and ridiculous additions in my mind diminish the game overall. More is not always better. The more focused and streamlined version on XBox 360 was more engaging and fun.
I competely agree and I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers the original. Patty is a completely useless character story wise-love playing as her tho and I'm disappointed considering everyone hyping the PS3 version all those years ago. Sure. All you have to do is go to the strategy menu and set Patty to do only magic artes. Also, set Raven to prioritize healing or heal.

What's wrong with the game's battle theme? You didn't have to add your own music in place of it.
The Fell Arms was useless if used against Spiral Draco at Layer of Abyss in Necropolis of Nostalgia (a Penalty of using Fell Arms are 1 Damage)

All of the fell arms are available before the duke fight. I didnt even know there was a third form fight and got it in my first playthrough.
