It’s official 30:15 is the most metal moment on this podcast, my god what a story! Seen Fuming Mouth 3 times and talked to Mark a bit at every show, one of the most down to earth dudes ever. Listen to Fuming Mouth, kids.

I just discovered Fumimg Mouth from another UA-cam video and the comments had something to do with new metal bands and one of the comments mentioned these guys so I went on Spotify and checked them out and I was hooked. “The Silence Beyond Life” is brilliant so damn good! Seeing this interview is really cool! That cancer diagnosis is terrifying. You’ll be hard to find someone who hasn’t been affected by cancer in some way. Be it yourself, family or friends. I couldn’t imagine hearing those words. I imagine it’s sorta like how my dad felt when he was diagnosed with his muscle disease. He couldn’t comprehend it at first and the doctor had to repeat it to him. Thankfully his muscle disease isn’t deadly but it is chronic and he uses an electric wheelchair to get around and due to the muscle wasting can only take so many steps. Sadly there’s no cure, but you have to try to look at the other side of things. I’m grateful my dad is here. Being diagnosed with something life altering is scary for anyone including family. I’m glad he beat this. I’m a T1D and I’ve always tried to hold the mentality of someone else has it worse than me. Knock on wood I haven’t had any serious health complications since I was three which was when I was diagnosed. I’m 33 now. It’s easy to fall into the “why me” thing. I never tried to do that. It’s happened though. But things could be worse. Go to the doctor people get checked if you’re not feeling well. And that’s a W fiancé right there to push him to go to the doctor. I hope these guys keep doing big things.

The Last Day of Sun guitar sound is exactly how Trap Them sounded like. Damn do I miss that band.

Totally, I love trap them, that was the first thing I thought when i heard fuming mouth.
Lots of bands have taken on their sound.

@@misterarcane3863 Not trying to be an ass but credit where it's due. The guitar sound dominant on both these records was essentially discovered by the bands mr Whelan mentions with Tomas Skogsberg of Sunlight Studios some thirty years ago. Since then the sound has been applied to hundreds (propably over a thousand) records either dominantly or to an extent.
      Anyways, interesting interview as always.

@seitani68986 yup I agree, entombed darkthrone dismember. But trap them definitely brought it back the past 10 years or so.Either way I miss that band. Fuming mouth do have some good riffs aswell.

None have made it on records yet 😂 so the fact he made that a reality must feel so fckin good. Cause that literally is your brain child. ❤ your the man mark and GARZA!
