Good morning muskrat and Cindy have a great day I was finally able to get a hunting license yesterday afternoon so I think I am going to go sit for the afternoon hunt hopping to see some deer but if not that's fine to cuz it's always a good day to set in the woods watching the critters
Good morning Muskrat, it’s funny to see your hive top being an old road sign. My neighbor used to work for the highway department in the sign division and had Several signs that were decommissioned and had them cut in 18 inch pieces. I used them for making a raised bed that I grow my traveling onions in. Have a wonderful day and watch your topknot my friend. 👍💪🙌🌈✌️🐽🐖🐷
Good morning Gary. Sure hoping they make it through the winter for you. Maybe you will get some honey next year. Im sure getting eager to put out some sets. I would like to put some bait out, but the bears are still roaming around and i would just end up feeding them all my bait. Guess I will wait a little longer for that. Have a good day my friend.
Good Morning! Me too! I would sure like to have wolf traps set. Going back to those beaver ponds yesterday, the truck broke down....I might not get much of a trapping season this year....
Very nice winter setup! Thanks for sharing all the tips. Grateful for the fall blossoms for the bees dunno if yall get them as much since its already snowing there. North Georgia here. All the best to yall be safe ❤
Well I saw a buck finally today but I didn’t get a shot. Still seeing deer while hunting is always nice. I was just letting it get bigger, yeah that’s it.enjoy the day. 👍👍
Mornin Gary. Hey l'm interested in that clip on the back of your vest that goes down to the back of your belt. Is that to prevent "PLUMBERS A**"?😂 You should patent that!
It makes a great lure holder. A small wad of it in a dirt hole with lure works really well. In Idaho, it has to be out of sight though. Also a big pile of it in an open space with some blood makes a great attractor. Set it out in a meadow, and your traps back in the trees. In Idaho, traps have to be at least 30 feet away from it, and farther is better. If the wind blows a little of it closer to your traps, you can get into trouble with the Game Warden.
Another job done. It will be freeze-up pretty soon. I got some coyote snares sat this morning on a moose kill. I was talking to a guy the other day who caught a black one. He gave a sample to wildlife too see if is a coywolf. I never seen a black one. Have you?
Very neat! I never have seen a black coyote, but Fur-Fish-Game magazine has had quite a few pictures of them. It seems to happen more in the Eastern States?
You got mouse damage! If the queen is up top you likely got nothing in the bottom except maybe a mouse, I would check the bottom, and reduce to one box to over winter, good luck!
Great video , very interesting . Thanks for sharing !!!!! 🙏👍😊❤️
Thank you!
Good morning and good luck with the hive. Have a great day
Good morning! Thanks, you too.
You are doing all you can to give them their best chance for surviving the winter. Just got to keep our fingers crossed!🤞
Yeah, they are kind of on their own now. Mid Winter on a nice day, I'll check on them.
Good Morning 🌄

Good Morning! Those old signs are useful for a lot of things. I've even made them into sluice boxes for gold prospecting.
G' mornin' MO. Mornin' y'all. Just made my coffee and ready to visit.

It looks like a good wrapper for winter. Happy wintering to the hive. Thanks for sharing Have a great day!
Thanks. Hopefully they will make it. I hope you have a Great Day too!
Sure hope they made enough honey to get thru the winter. Not many flowers this time of year.
Me too. I think they should have enough, but it worries me that it's spaced too far apart. None of the frames are really full.
Thanx 4 the video Mr muskrat ❤

Good Morning!
Still need to winterize mine.
I think I need to go through these again and take a better look before t gets too cold. I don't like the honey spread out that far.
Love your videos how do you use your sheep’s wool for trapping? Thanks

Pretty neat I think ,them mice are a pain .
They are. Mice can destroy a hive pretty fast.

Wouldn't garden weed block material work better than tar paper by not being a moisture barrier?
It might? We were shown to use tap paper, but that might work better. It would sure be more flexible.
You got mouse damage! If the queen is up top you likely got nothing in the bottom except maybe a mouse, I would check the bottom, and reduce to one box to over winter, good luck!
Thanks. I'll take a better look. The bottom box didn't have much last check. I should probably pull it out anyway.
