I literally just saw them live in Grand Rapids. What a show! Jack said this song almost didn't exist. The producer said "We need one more song". The band said no. But the producer insisted. Jack had been listening to Muse, and rearranged the chord and came up with the melody..
This song is so underrated, I mean, geez, this is one of the best songs I've heard in ages. This is perfect.

I went to a Badflower show in Boston, and the openers were Weathers and these guys. Dead Poet Society came out-I had NO IDEA who these guys were, along with everyone else aside from maybe 2 people in the crowd. By the end of their very short set, they had made EVERYONE into a fan and completely stole the show, they were the best performance of the night. Jack jumped into the crowd during (I think it was) SWARM, and we all LOST OUR MINDS. I honestly was hoping they'd come out to do an encore. Afterwards, they were selling their merch and were just the kindest people ever. I legit had a flip phone and Jack Collins (since he had the longest arm), took my selfie with the band. But long story short-I grew up on WAAF and all things rock, and I've been a HUGE fan ever since I saw these guys perform only once.

27 now and just found this song tonight. I haven't been doing well mentally I have a loving girlfriend who I love with all my heart but sometimes that hatred for myself comes out. This song reminds me of the nights I would walk at night feeling so lost looking around at the world wondering why I can't stop hating myself. I knew of these guys for a while from the song American Blood, but I recently went to a concert where they were the openers and I've fallen more obsessed with them ever since. All of their songs are so good, I genuinely can't get enough of them.
