@@Stella.22g I am 100% a lush and it's not the "burn" that bothers me. It's the cloying sweetness, which as a lover of islay scotch and artisanal vodka is imo is the opposite of 'smooth'. But honey whiskey is as cheap as wine with almost twice the abv and it'd be awesome if it went down without the bleh factor (for me, anyway) :3

Rocio Cr As someone who had never heard of NBT until today and listened to this song for the first time: I'm not at all impressed. The instruments are very simple, the vocals aren't anything to write home about, and the lyrics are EXTREMELY lacking. I'm not wowed by this band one bit. They're very average.

+Phantom Engineer Ban All the Music and Itch are better than this, they would probably be a better introduction to NBT.
NBT are nothing but sheer bliss to listen too... This is certainly one of their simpler songs, but stunning nonetheless. I recommend Graveyard Whistling, Last Orders or Ban All the Music if you're after something deeper or more complex

I will usually value what breaks out of conventions over what doesn't, but at that point, it's subjective. I can, however, say that music that leaves a lasting impression on you (preferably positive) is what usually makes good music for people.

I don't want to sound all weird but this song's chorus is weirdly relatable to me??? Whenever I get angry at someone, I usually just walk away, calm myself and think it through. I found this song shortly before I went on vacation with my best friend and a few other people. We drove to a house that belongs to one of the guys who were with us my best friend had dated a few months earlier. In the end, she rejected him because she felt like they were not really compatible.
Everyone was asleep because it was really fucking late but I wasn't tired at all. So I stayed awake with the guy who owns this house. I barely knew him at the time but I felt comfortable with him and we had some late night talk about life and I told him my story. I had been heartbroken for two years and I still wasn't over it. I told him the entire story and he listened to me all the way. We went outside to see the sunrise as it became morning. It was wonderful.
The next night we didn't go to bed either and went outside because he wanted to smoke a cigarette and continue our conversation about my story. I noticed I that I liked him and kind of started teasing him and I could feel how things changed. A while later I started crying because we were in the middle of our heartbreak talk and as I said, I was sad and bitter about everything that had happened to me before, I was devastated because my emotional wounds wouldn't heal and I felt stuck. Now don't get me wrong. I had no intentions on starting a tragedy with my best friend and also I am not the type to replace people that I lost on my way. But this guy was attentive and kind and he gave me a long hug to comfort me. I can honestly say that this was the best hug anyone had ever given me. This is where things became complicated. We both wanted to kiss each other and it was so hard not to. But I decided I had to talk to my best friend first the next day to not cause a crisis. But she already knew and a little tragedy followed.
It's now almost a year later. He is my boyfriend now and we have been a couple for 9 months. My best friend and I are still best friends.
I am telling this because this is the song that we listened to in the car on vacation on our way to a almost-stranger's house and I also listened to it, when I fell in love with a guy I wasn't sure my best friend would be okay with. After the second night after we almost kissed, I went into the room I slept in and listened to this song, so unsure of what was yet to come.
Here I am today. And I can tell - It's a great song.
This story of yours would be totally perfect for a manga plot , I wish you guys happiness and good health and may everything work out for you three 🙌

My boyfriend and I are planning to move into the house I mentioned in my first comment since it's going to be his one day anyway and nobody currently lives there. We've been there a few months ago on vacation again but this time we were alone. When the time is right, we will make that house our home.

This song always reminds me of the time I made a move on a girl I'd been talking to for ages. We met years ago, and then after lockdown we met up and went on a weekend away together to climb a mountain. I wasn't sure if she felt the same way as me the whole time, and when we drove home to hers we decided to play a few games of pool. She won, all of them. The whole time I was contemplating whether I'd regret making a move, but then I realised you regret the opportunities you never take more than the ones you do. I manned up, walked up to her and kissed her - one of the best decisions I ever made.
Something like that happened to me, but just before coronavirus. No regrets at all, would do it again every time.
