Fellow 93 baby! Turned 31 in April. Also got acne in my early 20s. It’s better now with retinoids. I’ve always stayed out of the sun and had combo skin when I was younger but unlike you it got oilier with age 😅 hydration has been key for me too. Even for acne. I used to dry the crap out of it which is insane to think about. Your skin is goals!

Great content as always, but a few notes for the supplements part:
    - Vitamin C is very abundant in a healthy diet, there's not really a reason to take it unless youre deficient which is very uncommon. Its good if you think it makes you feel better - possibly placebo - but since its abundant, there's not really a reason to take it unless its part of your daily multivitamin, within 500 - 2000mg range, but even better lower or none at all. Its also proven to not help with preventing diseases and infections (immunity claims) nor help to make you recover better if you take it once youre already sick. Technically not harmful but mostly unnecessary for a typically healthy person.
    - Fish Oils (Omega-3, 6, 9 Fatty Acids) are great to take since you wont technically get the right dosages from eating fish from your diet alone, even when fish is a big part of your diet. Also important to note that you technically need to take a balance dosage of Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9 fatty acids (which good quality supplements offers) because an unbalance dosage or high dosage of omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids can be 'pro' inflammatory. So good quality and non-rancid fish oil supplements are great options BUT make sure you dont take solely Omega-6 or Omega-9 supplements (which technically doesnt exist much)
    - Probiotics are great, pleanty of good options too. Would be great if your diet or supplements incirporate different kinds of probiotic and prebiotic fibers as well.
    - as for Bone density concerns, the best supplements would be Vitamin D3 (for propoer calcium absoprtion), Vitamin K2 (for the absorbed calcium to get directed to the bones instead of muscles and soft tissues, Mk-4 or Mk-7 types - Natto, Kimchi, and other fermented foods are high in Vitamin K), plus Magnesium supplements (to balance with vitamin D, as vit D depletes Magnesium stores in the body). This vitamin stack is proven to promote calcium absorption and bone density improvement, HIGH Vitamin K1 and K2 dosages are studied to reverse osteoporosis (japanese research study too), and vitamin K is known to aid with reversing artery calcification too by directing absorbed calcium to the right places: Bones.

I know that’s crazy, but I saw the deep crow’s feet on my dad and totally freaked out. 😂 As a redhead, I’ve been afraid of the sun my whole life. I actually never wore sunscreen until about two years ago, because of Tina’s videos. I take many of her product suggestions, too. I’m almost 56 now and have the best skin of my life! @@ReeraRana2002 Ofcourse, I stopped using anything that would trigger a reaction. Like old makeup, fragrance, essential oils. Also, I recommend that you always look at skincare ingredients list of every product you are thinking of using. I have very sensitive skin so I don't use any products with centella, acids, and limits products with fruit extracts, especially citrus extracts. I started a basic skincare routine that must be done morning and afternoon. I do essence, toner, a serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. During the day never skip sunscreen. I have dry skin so at night I will skip the sunscreen and use a basic ingredient oil. Don't skip any days consistency is key to help your skin heal. I love the Dr. Ceuracle essence, Cosrx honey propolis essence and moisturizer, numbuzin no.3 serum, and when my skin is super irritated I use DearKlairs midnight blue calming cream.

I know this sounds crazy. But in my twenties, I used only 1 product: Sk2. Yup. I didn't cleanse. I didn't moisturise. I did not use sunscreen. Isnt' that crazy? But I didn't spend any money on anything else, so SK2 was my only skincare purchase. This is why i LOVE essense and toners. I'm in my 40s now. And only recently started doing proper korean skincare routines and only started using SPF regularly in the last ... erm... 2 months. And since discovering korean / jbeauty skin care, I have bought SO MANY toners and essences,.... I think I have spent way more than if I just had bought Sk2 hahaha.

Had terrible skin in my 20s, now pretty happy at 35. I guess what helped was better diet, supplements that helped with some deficiencies, different happier life style. For skincare: Differin gel was and is the goat and completely transformed my skin. I feel like if there are major skin concerns like acne, texture, pigmentation a prescription retinoid can be a very heavy lifter of all those concerns in a relatively short amount of time - nothing else has worked for me so well and they have great proven anti ageing benefits too :) I also use a azelaic acid prescription to help with redness, uneven tone, pigmentation :)

if u think she looks 40 I genuinely fear what you consider 'young looking' because then I can ONLY assume that when u see teenagers, you think they are in their late 20s... and god forbid u find them attractive & try to approach them. like when I see this bs of 'yikes u look way older' when clearly they're not....i fear ur type is children don't try and pretend its not

I appreciate you talking about supplements you take! We can talk about products all day (which are so fun!) but our skin is our largest organ and it will reflect what we put in our bodies!
Each day I drink a little warm/hot cocktail containing 1 scoop (11 g) collagen powder (I use Sports Research brand types I & III for hair, skin, & joints), one packet of vitamin C powder (orange flavor, 1000 mg), and 3-6 grams of MSM powder (Doctor’s Best brand). Must be warm to dissolve properly!
Vitamin C is a building block for collagen. MSM is a supplement generally taken by elder folks to help with joint pain, but it is also a powerful booster related to the organic chemistry solvent DMSO, known for its ability to penetrate the skin and other biologic membranes, drastically increasing the absorption of nutrients!
I first started taking this cocktail to grow my hair (I can sit on it now 😳), but my skin and my knee (prior fracture) benefited as a result!
I also take fish oil 1400mg (make sure to research the brand and types before buying), vitamin D3 5000 IU (labs said I’m deficient 🙃), and just recently started taking NAC 600-1800 mg (recommended by my dermatologist to help stop overgrooming/pimple-popping, no results yet 🥲)
