lol I was gonna put it in the description but will note here: yes I do give away things that don’t work to me to friends/family when I can & also use whatever I can on my body - as I think most people do!
when something doesn't work for me, i sell it or give it to my sister or my coworker who's into skincare too. i'm not going to force myself to finish stuff that doesn't work for me, but i also refuse to waste skincare. i have only thrown away skincare when it seemed expired when i received it but i couldn't return it.
Hi, your skin looks amazing, could you make a video showing how you make up and what products are you wearing to get the same look as this video, please? I really appreciate it 😊 I love the glow of your skin, it looks so natural😊
Unless the product irritates my skin, I’ll use the moisturizer/serum/toner up on the rest of my body. I don’t have any friends who are into skincare or I’d give it away
i love these kinds of videos where you're transparent about the products that didn't work out for you! i hope you can share these kinds of videos more often :)) also i miss your hits and misses series :(( i hope you bring it back soon!
You are my skincare go to. Everytime I need to know something or need some recs I always come here first. You influence me so easily and its been a blessing find your page
I say what doesn't work for my face is always good enough for my feet, body, legs or bum 😁 you can put the toners in spray bottles and use it on your body right in the shower (don't slip!!) for the creams you can use it on your feet of course but also knees and elbows as they often need some extra love (also the bum 😋)
I declutter makeup but never did for skincare, as I always use them up. If i cant use it up on my face I use it on my body. For expired stuff, I use them on my feet lol. I just can't throw away skincare, sometimes I give to my mum but she has more sensitive skin than me, so if something does not work for me it likely won't for her...hence the feet for getting rid of the skincare graveyard. I loved the Im from Honey serum too, it was strongly scented but it worked well for me as I have dry skin all year round.
I tried the mugwort line based on one of your old videos and fell in love. Haven't tried the sheet mask yet but I absolutely love the wash off mask for when my skin is irritated or inflamed. Using the mask > cold alovera from the fridge (any of the korean ones) > mugwort toner > cream has been a life saver when i travel
Hi Tina, I'm loving this concept. Please share more un-emptied products on the regular! I truly value your opinion with every skincare related purchases I make. ❤️
I felt the same about clay and had my insttree mugwort claymask sitting in a shelf. I started using it with their yam cleanser (tip. from Kelly Driscoll). Mixing those two together helped with the clay sooo much and my winter skin was loving this combo and this way the mask got used up.
The snail mucin caused my skin to break out in welts. 😂 There are so many ingredients in every product that we apply to the skin. Lately I’ve been trying to use up and eliminate products that are unnecessary or redundant.
Omg i just got it and it seems that it broke a lot of people out, I really hope it doesn’t for me because my mom was telling to not miss my skin up with tempting products and i was like Oh noOo don’t be silly I would neverr I did my research it’s all safe, i hope I don’t embarrass myself😭
There must be a common thread bc I had similar reaction to both products. Thanks for commenting, makes me feel less alone when everyone else seems to like them both✨
I had a similar weird reaction to the COSRX 96 Snail Mucin. I started getting little white bumps all over my face. They didn't appear instantly, but I realized it about 1-2 weeks into using it. They took about 2 months to go away once I stopped using the essence.
I liked this type of video. It’s good to see what isn’t finished as well as hearing why. Some products we may have considered buying before it’s helpful to hear your response.
Enjoyed this video very much! I love watching your channel! You're a great UA-camr! Thanks for all your information on these skincare items. Have a wonderful day Tina!
Alternatives for Normal to Dry Skin: - The Body Shop Charcoal Wash-off face Mask (It has pieces you can use to exfoliate - I don’t use it for that benefit, just layer it on, and wash off) = nice brightening effect. - Lush Rose Toner = VERY, VERY light weight, but EXTREMELY soothing and hydrating. If I’m looking for more hydration, I spray my face once, let it sit for a few seconds and apply another layer. Hope this helps someone!
What product would you recommend for skin brightening over the axis-y one? I have sensitive skin but vitamin C works really well for me as long as the percentage isn’t too high 😆
Omg, I tried the snail mucin cream, and I got a really bad allergic reaction too! My eyelids got all swollen and I broke out and got really sensitive and itchy. I've given it too my sister and her skin loooves it. I'm lucky I have my sister whose skin seems to tolerate almost anything unlike mine that reacts poorly to so many things 😅 Means I can let my sister have it (and she's more than happy to take it too)
Concentration definitely makes a difference. I can't tell you how many times l tried and loved a propolis or honey based sheet mask but later broke out from using the ampule or the essence in the same line.
I love the snail mucin 96! It’s so soothing when my skin is more sensitive. However I tried the double one and zits just started appearing (I rarely get them and it was the only change). Also I’m really bummed that I react badly to mugwort. It seems like such an incredible ingredient but both my face and body react to it. I need to make a detailed list of what I react to (instead of just trusting my brain)because some brands just don’t work for me (like pyunkang yul) but I don’t know what in them makes it happen.
I usually give products that don't work for me to my mom because of her mature skin or I use it on my body because my face is not really the same as the rest of my body so maybe give that a try and the toner you can probably put a spray bottle use as a pick me up.
love that you made this! these un-empties are really important as well, it's like a review of what didn't worl and why which is super helpful! so thank you :) but also..your cheek color! what blush did you use if j may ask? 😍
Ooh same here! Everyone was raving about the Tir Tir milk toner but I broke out with it, sadly. So I gave it to my sister. It is what it is sometimes lol
I also have a bad skin reaction to snail mucin and felt like a crazy person because everyone says its non-irritating. It's very validating to see someone else also have that experience! The mixsoon bean essence also gives me that reaction, so I'm thinking it's maybe texture related for me rather than an allergy...??? I also have dust allergies.
I’m a new subscriber, saw James Welsh mention your channel and I’m a dry skin mature lady….I love most of the Korean skincare that I have been trying, can’t wait to see your recommendations ❤
“I had a pretty bad reaction to this one… *puts it on hand*” 😂… I purchased the cosrx mucin but then read that about the dust mites which I am also allergic to but thankfully I purchased on Amazon sooo I never tried and returned it… I feel you so much on this video.. if the world saw my *probably half expired* skincare stash that no longer gets touched (as a regular consumer with one face) I’d get canceled for sure.😅 I personally love and appreciate your honesty!! If you only share the good and what you finish then how will be narrow down all the options. Sooooo many products look good on paper or are great the first month but don’t compare to the alternatives when used long term. Love this concept.. lets us get insight into your opinion in the longer term!! Thank you!!
I’m allergic to dust mites also get horrible rashes when exposed to dust mites but never had any problems with snail mucin. Have used it for years 🤷♀️
I use up a lot of things on my body if it's not working for my face. If something is really unfortunate... it goes on my feet. 😄 Thankfully, I never get true allergic reactions, so if that happened, I'd just have to toss it or give it to someone else. Not worth the risk in that case.
Tina, have you seen or tried the Hada Labo Gokujun Perfect Jelly? I’m sooooo curious about how it compares to their traditional liquidy lotions hydration-wise!! Also, you’ve been talking a bit about makeup and hair products lately, and i noticed you have really pretty manicured nails, i was wondering if you use any nail/cuticle treatments or moisturizers?
Cosrx snail mucin power essence did the same to me. It left my skin feeling unnaturally tight twice after using it. It gave me a horrible reaction the second day, my face wouldn’t stop burning and itching with bumps and textures all over. It was so inflamed that i was rushed to the emergency. I was prescribed high doses of oral steroids and topical steroid cream as well, coz the allergy was that bad. Really hoped that the product would work for me but sadly it didn’t🥲 I too do have dry, dehydrated sensitive skin. I’m allergic to dust as well. Hope this comment helps someone.
I just bought the isntree green tea toner and really enjoy it and actually disliked the anua toner - I think I heartleaf does nothing for me compared to the other known soothing ingredients. Interesting how different experiences can be. I am oily - dehydrated.
Yesssss....the i bought the snail mucin because it's so hyped and I'm so stupid that I didn't do proper research , I'm also allergic to dust and it didn't work for me at all....and everyone in my house is allergic to dust except my dad who refuses to do skin care so unfortunately I had to throw away that product....i even got the bigger one cause the smaller one was out of stock😭
Your skincare insights are amazing! I'm already jotting down your recommendations. By the way, if you're into personalized skincare solutions, you should definitely check out personalizedskincareforyou.com/ It's a game-changer! Can't wait to explore more of your content!
Do you mind if I ask what kind of allergic reaction you had to the snail mucin? Like red rashy? Or something else? Trying to figure out more about allergic reactions that don’t show with red rashes (aka stereotypical what comes to mind when you think allergy).
I have been holding off on buying new products being advertised on social media. I feel like the pr hype train (that's all paid) really is getting appalling imo. For example, when you go to sephora and select 'verified purchase' or 'not incentivized', the 4.5-5 star reviews will drop from 500+ to ZERO.
Surprisingly i too had a bad reaction to the cosrx snail mucin cream and the beauty of joseon glow serum. I got dermatitis when I used both 🥲 Same opinion on the axis y dark spot serum, too.
lol I was gonna put it in the description but will note here: yes I do give away things that don’t work to me to friends/family when I can & also use whatever I can on my body - as I think most people do!

I also do the same. I give it away
I also give as much as I can to friend and family 😌
Giving it away or using it on the body
You sell used skincare?🫤🙄
I make a diy foot mask from expired skincare 😂
ok lets take a minute to admire the skin!
Hi, your skin looks amazing, could you make a video showing how you make up and what products are you wearing to get the same look as this video, please? I really appreciate it 😊 I love the glow of your skin, it looks so natural😊

Same.

this blush color looks so good on you!

Your glowing ✨please do a makeup tutorial on this look🤩🤩
The snail mucin caused my skin to break out in welts. 😂 There are so many ingredients in every product that we apply to the skin. Lately I’ve been trying to use up and eliminate products that are unnecessary or redundant.
me too!
Oh my gosh! I’m so glad you commented this bc I thought I was going crazy. It seems like everyone can use the snail mucin but I also had a reaction
@@user-gc7pv7ok9x patch test if you're unsure, or just do one side of your face!
Your probably allergic to the mites in snail mucin it’s fairly common
I’m not sure if you have already made a tutorial for this makeup look, but if not please do. It’s soooo pretty and glowy!!
it's been so long since the last collection video!!! can't wait
Congrats on the move! I'd love to see more of these in the future
You are glowing your skin looks sooooo good! ✨✨✨✨
I have many allergies including dust mites so dont use snail mucin. BOJ
Propolis serum gave me the worst hives.
There must be a common thread bc I had similar reaction to both products. Thanks for commenting, makes me feel less alone when everyone else seems to like them both✨

Love this video - it is so good to hear your reasons. I feel very similar to you on alot of these products.

So I have really bad allergies and i use the I'm From Mugwort Mask on my body when I have an attack it helps so much. ❤🤕
Alternatives for Normal to Dry Skin:

Please do this makeup look video!! The glow dewy look is to die for!!!
Dry & dehydrated and snail mucin has saved my skin so I’m very sorry you had a reaction to it.
What product would you recommend for skin brightening over the axis-y one? I have sensitive skin but vitamin C works really well for me as long as the percentage isn’t too high 😆
Would love a video on your makeup or a post with the products!

you can use the propolis overnight mask as a lip balm, works wonders
Concentration definitely makes a difference. I can't tell you how many times l tried and loved a propolis or honey based sheet mask but later broke out from using the ampule or the essence in the same line.
hi tina! i would love to see a skincare organising/storage video in ur new apartment :))
I love the snail mucin 96! It’s so soothing when my skin is more sensitive. However I tried the double one and zits just started appearing (I rarely get them and it was the only change).

Tina, you are a glass skin personified! Wow❤❤❤
I usually give products that don't work for me to my mom because of her mature skin or I use it on my body because my face is not really the same as the rest of my body so maybe give that a try and the toner you can probably put a spray bottle use as a pick me up.

LMNT skin illuminating worked amazingly on my skin ✨️
Ooh same here! Everyone was raving about the Tir Tir milk toner but I broke out with it, sadly. So I gave it to my sister. It is what it is sometimes lol
even as an oily combo girl, the isntree green tea did nothing but dry out my skin!
Absolutely gorgeous! would love to try it out💕😎
Please do a makeup look tutorial of the makeup you have on! 🥺💕
I love how you still pronounce pudding as プリン eventho there’s no japanese involved in the product (talking about numbuzin 4). Sounds soooo cute!!!
Omg I didn’t even notice it but certain words I learnt in Japanese I think I do this 🤣
I’m a new subscriber, saw James Welsh mention your channel and I’m a dry skin mature lady….I love most of the Korean skincare that I have been trying, can’t wait to see your recommendations ❤

Hi! Can I please ask what makeup you're wearing? Especially the eyes! I could not stop staring at how pretty and effortless you looked. Thank you!
I use up a lot of things on my body if it's not working for my face. If something is really unfortunate... it goes on my feet. 😄 Thankfully, I never get true allergic reactions, so if that happened, I'd just have to toss it or give it to someone else. Not worth the risk in that case.
I do this too! Hence why moisturisers aren’t really here since they’re the easiest to use on the body haha
It’s nice to share it to us. 👍🏻
What propolis serums do you like if the BOJ one isn’t for you? I love the BOJ but want to try more.
the one from skinfood is amazing! i have been using it for years and it never fails me
I also try a lot of products and when they don’t work to me I use them on my legs and feet. I hate waste😢
Cosrx snail mucin power essence did the same to me. It left my skin feeling unnaturally tight twice after using it. Really hoped that the product would work for me but sadly it didn’t🥲 I too do have dry, dehydrated sensitive skin. I’m allergic to dust as well. Hope this comment helps someone.
I don't like the Cosrx Snail essence. My preference is their dual essence instead.
I just bought the isntree green tea toner and really enjoy it and actually disliked the anua toner - I think I heartleaf does nothing for me compared to the other known soothing ingredients. Interesting how different experiences can be. I am oily - dehydrated.
I use the I'm From mugwort mask after shaving my face and it feels so refreshing, can I have yours??😂😂
You should also just use all the serums up on your body (the ones that didn’t trigger allergies)
same sentiments with the Isntree Green Tea toner. Can’t see if its working on my skin.
Yesssss....the i bought the snail mucin because it's so hyped and I'm so stupid that I didn't do proper research , I'm also allergic to dust and it didn't work for me at all....and everyone in my house is allergic to dust except my dad who refuses to do skin care so unfortunately I had to throw away that product....i even got the bigger one cause the smaller one was out of stock😭
you're my new getaway haha love your vids!

i didn't realize that biore had a slight tone up effect- bought it and could not use it at all sadly
If I can’t enter, would I be able to send it to my friend who lives in Melbourne? She is a busy mom who probably would like more skincare 😊
Ooo yeah for sure! As long as it’s an address within Australia 😌 you are such a lovely friend! 💗
Tina please share details of your makeup look here ❤❤❤❤
ugh YES finally the highlights are gone 💯
I'm sure you would love Tirtir milk toner 😊
Yup, my skin hates cosrx too
Your makeup looks soooo beautiful and so do you❤❤❤ please share it's tutorial and the products used🫶🏻🫶🏻
Lol not me with dry skin waching her trow all my skincare rutine xD 😂
The skin looks so good... Can we get an updated makeup routine?
I had the exact same reaction to the cosrx snail essence and I thought I was going crazy 😅😂
We’re do you go for Korean facial in sydney
How often do you do wash off mask and using enzyme cleanser?
thank you so much 😊✨
Love it, girl ❤
Hi Tina, could you share your vein color? Are your veins green, blue, or purple?
I also have dust mites allergies, and reacted badly to snail mucin 🤔
Tina I luv ur videos so much. Can u plz review isntree aloe soothing toner?
Strange is cosrx snail essence suit my skin so well but the snail Moisturizer literally dried out my sking and damaged my skin barrier
Hi Tina. Can u give ur review on mary and may collagen serum. ❤❤❤❤❤From Pakistan
Now I know why I reacted to the Beauty of Joseon serum
6:58 I tried this, I also have dry skin. It felt like nothing on my face ? It was very weird.
Can you share the exact products on your face in this video? Absolutely beautiful and glowing!
Thank you 😊
Can u make video what are u do to make your skin look better after allergic reaction?
my skim broke badly after using the cosrx snail mucin
I sow a lot of reviews of axis y dark spot and Cosrx snail mucin and i got it! And gues what i dont quite like it! 😅😅😅😅
Can we get some recs on the most matte products out there? Some guys don't want to look greasy :P
what blush are u wearing omg
If the product irritates me because I have dry sensitive skin, the product is automatically given to my mom who has oily to normal skin.
Surprisingly i too had a bad reaction to the cosrx snail mucin cream and the beauty of joseon glow serum. I got dermatitis when I used both 🥲
Same opinion on the axis y dark spot serum, too.
The Klaris white bottle toner is much better than this one! Please give it a try~
Always love your videos!
💙💙💙
If only you're in JP, I'd come to you and took the whole box.
We need makeup details please 😍😍
I’m the same! I’m allergic to tamanu oil😢
I feel you 😭
