But so does samsung samsung has punchier and way better reds but sony has more accurate skin tones and samsung looks brighter for sure. Blacks and whites its a tie in my opinion couldnt tell a difference but blues are better on the sammy. But the yellows are more accurate on the sony. They do trade blows on some scenes. Its weird how at 0:49 the blues pop out alot more on the sony and the skin tone is more accurate as well. The blue on the samsung at 0:49 is way too dark. But agreed the greens are more punchier on the sammy for sure. However at 2:23 the blue on the ocean stands out a little more on the sony. At 2:57 the red is a little more vibrant on the sony. But overall they trade blows and each brand displays color a little differently i think its personal preference and depends on how you want to view colors but overall i agree both tvs are great in their own ways and very comparable i agree man its a tie.
Debating these two myself -- Honestly if cost was exactly the same, I'd go A95K no contest. But given the huge price difference, I'm likely going to pick up a S95B later this week. 30 day return, so I guess if something bugs me or I really think the A95K would be a lot better, I could always return it and save/wait for a sale.
With the nerf to the S95B and washed out colours and dark gaming of the A95K, I decided on the QN90B for the ultimate bright highlights and superior motion handling
I tested at home all C2 S95B G2 in that order, and for me the one I really wanted out of the house was the S95B (after 1420 update). The image was great before update by day because of the brightness, but by night for me the LG picture is way more dense and crisp. The update ruined everyone where the S95B lost all of it's brightness and colors looked washed out. Took G2 after C2 because for me the C2 was just not bright enough eventhough the picture was outstanding.
1:50 where are the shadow details on the hat on s95b? Sony's color science should be superior based on pure speculation that they are also reference monitor manufacturers and hi end camera systems.

Wondering if it is a defect on the product, this is the third one ( I've returned 2 already with the same issue)please gave some feed back, I like the tv but those line make wonder if I should just return it and get me a LG.

Wow, I seriously can feel the passion that you have in this review. I was waiting the longest for you to make this. You don't BS at all. Not like the others that overlook so many things and just says it's the best TV out there without explaining FULLY both good and bad. Motion and skin tones to me is so important and I'm glad Samsung is doing it right. Q, i need to ask you, and maybe you already explained it in another video, but you said the Samsung SB95 had updates that gave it way less nits? Or did it get better? Because from what it looks from this video, it looks bright enough lol.
Your videos have truly helped me decide on which TV to get. After many many hours of watching videos and reviews about various options as far as OLEDs and QD OLEDS, I purchased the Samsung S95B. Despite there being a few features that are lacking and Samsung pushing it some bad updates, I still think the value is immense compared to that of the Sony. Actually, in your videos I tend to prefer the Samsung almost 100% of the time. Appreciate what you do.
Can't use soundbar with A95K , it lacks gaming hud + lacks 4 X HDMI 2.0 full bandwidth inputs, it's aimed at Blu-ray and streaming ppl with cenima style sound setup and I Doubt ppl in that category are after 65 inch screen lol,. To me it's crazy Sony Top tier TV isn't aimed at oh I dunno the current next-gen console 🤭. All Samsung needs to do going forward is replace plastic outside covering and return to 2018 Q8C qled TV design thinking. That was next lvl in its day even it's stainless remote was high class . All TV manufacturers need to realise a lot of ppl don't wall mount the TV.
Thank you Quantum. You're very honest, blunt and tell it as how it is and that's why we trust you. After watching the video i completely agree with your results.Next year though the Sony's tv lineup will have 4 HDMI 2.1 with mediatek next generation chips so for gamers its going to be awesome.I really hope though they add more color volume to their tvs.Just like you i like my tvs to pop.
Thank you for watching the video! I hope sony can build from here, because its a better place than the A90J. Unfortunately, they do have issues with price still.
Do you still think its a draw when you'd buy and compair them now in november 2023, afther all the alernations Sasmung made (with probably a 13.xx or 14.xx update) ?

@@leroyrodrigues4885 hey leroy did u check out 1304. Seems like the highlights are better compared to 1303. Weird . As far i know nitwise it didnt change much
@@ghostmaker8957 the S95B has better picture quality in my opinion as I watch both TVs daily and in 1304 and still better picture quality than the Sony
Two things, first, it was a bit entertaining listening to you slowed down at .25 for a minute. The question I have is, how bout Dolby Vision vs HDR10 difference? Since most streaming services use Dolby Vision??
Hi Quantum, I am contemplating between the Sony A95K and S95B. My issues with the S95B is the build quality (bent panels), no Dolby vision and the user interface. Are these issues blown out of proportion? Does the QD-OLED tech make up for the lack of Dolby Vision on the S95B? For me right now I simply can’t afford the Sony I initially waited for the Sony but circumstances have changed. Is the LG G2 a good option for me?
I personally had to chose between all 3. I personally chose the S95B. In my time with it, yes. The lack of dolby vision is blown way out of proportion. The color is better than any tv today. Once you see the S95B, you won't wanna go back. I literally ran out about bought another S95B to get day 1 firmware, because woled wasn't cutting it. Even if you roll the bad firmware, its still better than anything the G2 offers picture quality wise. I highly recommend the Samsung S95B above all else.
Hey Quantum, what firmware are you using for this comparison?...I'm looking at possibly picking up this tv around Black Friday and don't want to be surprised if I can't performance like this.
Sir....man, do I need an honest guy. I'm not a young gamer, I'm a 50+ year old fossil trying to keep his head from swimming in all the tech available today...I'm an Atari 2600 guy walking around in a PlayStation 5 world, but that's where I'm at, LOL! As a result, I really appreciate that you seem to NOT be another bought-off, garbage BS 'review' mill, spewing out the same corporate talking points to push sales up. Thanks for that. Question on the S95B if you have the time (I think I'm about to buy one), have you heard of the latest update (I think it was 1304.1) fixing the brightness issue? I've seen some other videos, but those could be bogus bought-off shills, so who knows. Thanks!
Thank you brother. Im here to help however I can, so no worries there. I haven't tested 1304.1, because I got the ultra rare 1082 firmware. I've been offline ever since getting nerfed.
Im just tired of samsung not supporting dolby vision. Thats a huge deal breaker for me. I do prefer the color pops on samsung though but I have a black line accross the bottom of my Q90R.
I ordered the Hisense U8H yesterday from Best Buy btw the price dropped big time on the 55'' from about $1,200 to $699. I'll be getting it Saturday so I'll likely be signing up for your settings by the weekend. Hope you still have them.
Great video I’m looking forward to your settings for the A95K cause it’s difficult to just bring out those colors the way you do, I noticed the yellow’s are better on the A95K but since I started watching the S95B in Standard for more brightness it seems to bring the yellow’s equal with the A95K I’m in firmware 1304 though but in Movie, Cal-Day and Night, and Filmmaker mode the yellow’s look less good on the S95B, this is why I support your channel because you come out and give an unbiased level of comparison as compared to most other reviewers they’re just gonna tell you Sony is better more accurate but I don’t see that just because they’re biased, but I like the S95B picture better definitely for the reasons you stated but I knew the 65” A95K was going to be great that’s why I was willing to get it and I knew you can get great settings for the A95K looking forward to seeing those settings soon
Just what I thought. They r neck n neck but kinda disappointed with the motion on the a95k. I think the blues on the s95b have been improved on the newer firmware
I was one of the few that felt that the S95B looked a bit cartoonist because I personally compared it to my G2. My conclusion is I may be sensitive to the colors of the Sammy and prefer the mute of the Sony and LG Oled plus this years Tizen is bad imo. Overall I still feel like Q did a good job with the comparison between the TVs and pointed out flaws in both but overall the S95B will be the better value for Sammy. Thanks for the vid Q appreciate the work you put in.
Hey Q how is the build quality on the s95b vs a95k? I’ve read and heard most of their panels comes bent and they have to return multiple times until receiving the right panel. Both tvs are great it’s gonna come down to Better value for me comes Black Friday sales
This is an excellent review Q. Thank you for giving us the real comparison on these TVs. Samsung color is just amazing. But wow the reds on the Sony looks impressive.

Do you have settings for you calibration that you share, do you have to pay for them etc? Looking to purchase the S95B and would like to get most out of the picture
Nevermind I just seen you pineed settings and it's £4.99 a month. Will sign up when receive the TV 👍🏻 great job! ....oh btw I presume with the eArc connection it will link up perfect with my Sonos beam and back speakers too for Dolby Atmos? Only reason asking this because my current Q90R model doesn't support it
Sony image processing destroying any other tv, cameras, etc, If you look at 4K content it looks like it’s 3D 5k picture, the whites are also the most accurate whites like a snow, and that’s the 1200$ difference :) but is it worth? As a owner of an a84j I Think yes but not 1200$ 😅 and probably I would get Samsung with cashback for 1500$ and for that price you can get 2 almost perfect tvs than just 1 😮 Btw on the other hand it’s great LG Which had 1600$ promo for 65 lg c2 and iPhone 11 for free so it was great option though too, but where’s the masterpiece Panasonic 😅? 😂
Hi Quantum. Love your channel. But I do have to tell you that if would just add a sports section to your comparisons, I think you would double your views. It so important to the majority of us, we spend a ton of time watching live sports, we want to know the superior set for this content. Thanks fir your consideration.
Great video... Hey Quantum just letting you know I've been getting people commenting on my video's saying I shouldn't sub you warning me off....that makes me want to watch/support you more.... Keep up the good work bro
What I've noticed in motion processing testing is, that Sony has more artifacts in horizontal motion, but Sammy is even worse in vertical movement. Am I the only one who sees this?
I believe every word this guy says back in day he said don't buy the LG CX, I didn't believe him and bought it anyways after the ps5 and series x shipped to me every word he said was true, simply if he said don't buy this just don't buy that thing don't get bait by other UA-camrs true and honest UA-camr god bless you
Can a kind lady or gentleman help me out? I've been noticing a lot of screen noise in my 55 a95k, even though I follow the steps on a thread on an official Sony's FAQs website that says to change the clarity settings... I set everything as the website recommended but I still seeing screen noise, I feel like looking at an old TV so I don't know if there is something that can be fixed or it's about the TV's hardware, I would like to know if the s95b also has that, I can notice it on movies with lot of colors like "Turning Red" on Disney+, I hate how this movie look in this tv even with the default screen settings and I chose this one because is very easy to see it... Not all movies look that bad that's why I'm also thinking if that is something that movie makers do on purpose 🤷🏻♂️
Post this on the a95k thread of avsforum. It cud be the movie which has been graded in that manner. Btw u can turn off reality creation to see if that helps
Aaay yo the Samsung s95b is the best TV of 2022. Ain't no way anybody choosing that overrated a95k over the s95b. I mean the a95k is good too but lets keep it real that s95b just offers more visually and feature-wise like for gaming...game bar, lower input lag and full 4 hdmi 2.1 ports.
This has nothing to do with either tv but I see the hisense 55 u8h is 700$ now at my local best buy guess it would be all states. Is that like a no brainer to get the hisense u8h. I've been looking at the Samsung but just don't want to get a TV that is nerfed of its brightness with the current firmware updates it did?
Sir please reply me is Oled better or samsung qn90b neo qled because I buyed samsung qn90b and my friends are telling why you bought that one you can choose oled know. I have choosed qn90b because I have fear that oled has burnin issues please reply me
Now its tie its so confusing now lol thats what i was asking yesterday lol. Anyway great comparison i think the samsung is pretty great for value but the sony tv is not garbage at all.
HDR10+ makes a big difference when it comes to headroom and warmth of colors. Vizio’s current OLED tv is the equivalent of having a Panasonic when it comes to picture quality aside from processing.
Great comparison for everyone to see. Lacking specular highlight make scene a bit more darker is disappointing from Sony A95K. I thought Sony should be able to achieve it but I haven't yet to see one.
Sony Colors = Reference. Samsung Colors = Fake. In the end it depends what you personally prefer. I would pick the Sony, if the price difference were not that huge T_T

Only reason asking this because my current Q90R model doesn't support it
I don't have a sonos, but my sony soundbar works no problem.
Both tv's look awesome.
Sony image processing destroying any other tv, cameras, etc, If you look at 4K content it looks like it’s 3D 5k picture, the whites are also the most accurate whites like a snow, and that’s the 1200$ difference :) but is it worth? As a owner of an a84j I Think yes but not 1200$ 😅 and probably I would get Samsung with cashback for 1500$ and for that price you can get 2 almost perfect tvs than just 1 😮
Btw on the other hand it’s great LG Which had 1600$ promo for 65 lg c2 and iPhone 11 for free so it was great option though too, but where’s the masterpiece Panasonic 😅? 😂
What tv do you recommend for under 3k
65” Samsung S95B 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Pana lz2000 is the King this year again...
Not here in the U.S. buddy they don’t sell that here so in the U.S. panasonic takes a far back seat
where does the g2 fall in with these
Hi Quantum. Love your channel. But I do have to tell you that if would just add a sports section to your comparisons, I think you would double your views. It so important to the majority of us, we spend a ton of time watching live sports, we want to know the superior set for this content. Thanks fir your consideration.
Sports team logos and events hold strict copyrights. I appreciate the feedback but I can only do so much.
Great video... Hey Quantum just letting you know I've been getting people commenting on my video's saying I shouldn't sub you warning me off....that makes me want to watch/support you more.... Keep up the good work bro
Those are probably just Sony fanboys who are haters
What I've noticed in motion processing testing is, that Sony has more artifacts in horizontal motion, but Sammy is even worse in vertical movement. Am I the only one who sees this?
I believe every word this guy says back in day he said don't buy the LG CX, I didn't believe him and bought it anyways after the ps5 and series x shipped to me every word he said was true, simply if he said don't buy this just don't buy that thing
don't get bait by other UA-camrs
true and honest UA-camr god bless you
Great comparison, fairly judged.
Question, how do I get your tv settings recommendations? Was looking for a link there but can't see anything LG C9
Isn’t Sony most accurate custom ?
Aaay yo the Samsung s95b is the best TV of 2022. Ain't no way anybody choosing that overrated a95k over the s95b. I mean the a95k is good too but lets keep it real that s95b just offers more visually and feature-wise like for gaming...game bar, lower input lag and full 4 hdmi 2.1 ports.
Based on this comparison, I think samsung win. Maybe I miss something. Still, This is the best comparison between these two I find on youtube.
Samsung has a pink overtone which no one talks about ?
Because its not there.
What scene from my hero is that
It's from the hero world missions trailer
Sir please reply me is Oled better or samsung qn90b neo qled because I buyed samsung qn90b and my friends are telling why you bought that one you can choose oled know. I have choosed qn90b because I have fear that oled has burnin issues please reply me
I dont disagree, but real images of people wearing crayon colors and anime aren’t the only types of images on televisions
And the skin tones shown in this video plays on that concept.
Samsung wins
The Sony is not worth the extra cost
For upscale witch one hase better?
Sup bro I bought my q8fn because of you back then can you do the new qled qn95b?
Which TV is best? Your opinion
Now its tie its so confusing now lol thats what i was asking yesterday lol. Anyway great comparison i think the samsung is pretty great for value but the sony tv is not garbage at all.
The Sony A95K is also a great tv it looks amazing but the way the S95B shows off it’s colors and brightness gives it a slight edge
Now Max Out The 85" Z9K vs The S95B.
I don't review 85in tvs.
A95 looks better there man, if only if it's cheaper.
Sony Colors = Reference. Samsung Colors = Fake. In the end it depends what you personally prefer. I would pick the Sony, if the price difference were not that huge T_T
Sony better
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Imagine throwing down 3 grand for a sony tv lol. Thank you Quantum, you're doing gods work
I appreciate all the work this man puts into his craft. But please tell me. How is he doing God's work?
Does the lg c1 have better motion than the s95b
Yes
