Got the A95K today and i absolutely hate it. Game mode is really DIM. its depressing and hurts the eyes. trying to play on vivid mode makes the FPS take a huge dip. terrible. Also, blacks are not PITCH BLACK like the LG's.
But imagine if it was Sony with all these issues Samsung has. They would get buried by the community while people still get in line to get that samsung despite it's issues. Bent panels and firmware messing up the tv. It's A95K or G2 for me.
Hey QTV - After viewing all your vids on the A95k, I was skeptical of your reviews and I found out why. Up until yesterday, the TV was super bright and didn't compare to what you reviewed. Now, for some reason, the TV became very dimmed. Just on Dolby Vision Content, whether I select Bright or Dark, it doesn't change anything. I didn't change any settings from last saturday to yesterday when I watched Dolby Vision Content. Now even in Dark it doesn't measure up to what it was before yesterday. Something isn't right. I'm actually with a Sony Tech on this. My friend received the TV the same day I did and he also experience such issues. Weird....

I have being looking at the lg c2, lg g2, the Samsung oled or the Sony oled. I have been watching so many UA-cam video to find out what would be the best tv for me! I watch just general tv some movies and some really football yes I from Scotland and play my ps5. Right now I have plasma TV I wish I could get a plasma 55 inch 4k TV right now. my question is did your Samsung s95b come bent I definitely agree about the Sony I just don't want a bent panel either! I definitely wouldn't pay that price for a 65 in tv sony is tripping raised the ps5 price too thank god I bought one early! love the content appreciate the honesty much love and respect to u and your family.
Love the transparency but the build quality of the Samsung has me worried. I don’t want to order a bent panel. I do love the look so much better though and the gaming features compared to the Sony isn’t comparable
If u r in canada this is a non issue. There r big box retailers who will open the tv n show u if u ask them. If u r in the us, try going to retailer n ask them to do that. Hopefully they will do it. Try to avoid amazon
I was this close to going out an buying an A95K after watching other people's videos and was going to just eat the higher price tag. Yours just happened to pop up in my youtube feed and I was like "yeah, pump the brakes." The A95K is not even in my consideration now. The S95B will likely be in my room in the next week or two. Unfortunately like A80K I have got is defective panel that is flickering much more than just brightness dip every 8ms that it should not have happen and it was not good. The old X900H I have was not a problem. Why has OLED failed so miserable which is bizarre to me compare to Sony VA has a better success than OLED. Its not acceptable.
Bro even Brian formerly whisperstatus changed his tune. He himself said the s95b is the better TV especially for the value. He also stated what you said in a recent video that influencers need to go back and revisit tvs especially after updates.

It seems it is still too early to choose oled or qdoled. I am leaning toward mini LED especially X95B for upscaling ps3 and 4 games.

Is there a way to turn off the on screen volume display on the S95B. Every time I turn volume up and down the big box appears.
