Red and white briggs fuel filters have different purposes based on color. Red is for gravity fed and white is used with a fuel pump. Keep that in mind. If you put a white filter on a gravity fed it may restrict fuel flow.
Thanks for posting this. I was wondering also what to start off with. I’m getting ready to start up my own small engine repair business. Keep up the great work!
That's right I'm not a master technician like you for sure. Now since I'm in lawncare and know nothing about small engines this should be interesting of what you need for the season. I know what some of that stuff is, but not all. I never seen a orange fuel filter which is pretty cool. I will love to rebuild a carburetor myself and when I do I will make that video. I agree a spark is a spark plug. I had to laugh when you said I'm not your mommy 😂I have to admit this was very interesting. I only watch one small engine channel and it's yours because you show everything and I know I can always call you if I need help and thank you for that Andrew.
Great content, lot more expensive in canada unless you go through hutzl and wait forever and a day. appreciate you posting and look forward to the next. Leak down tester and bulk pack of mower keys the only items you missed. and its 'tecumseh' as in wm tecumseh sherman the union general Tecumseh, Shawnee War Chief was a charismatic leader, an orator and respected war chief of the Shawnee Indians of Ohio.
Well as a non master technician 😉 I usually get the 10 pk quantum fliters , I need to get the 2 stroke diaphragms also sometimes I run into the classic engines that need the fliters also.
Love all of your UA-cam videos!!! I have a 22” Toro Recycler walk behind mower (190 CC Briggs & Stratton flat head engine) Just got a tachometer….. do you know the recommend RPM (or range) for these particular mowers?
Bro... you are the coolest ever!... im about to go mobile. I have kind 45% knowledge on small engine repair. I used to sell tools but now business is slow. I'm going mobile. I just need confidence. Tune up kits for push mowers and weedeaters. Any advice bro?... im in Houston TX. Finding parts locally would be great
Just do it maybe practice on your own stuff but its really easy dont buy local from other small engine mechanics you lose money home depot and tractor supply at best amazon is perfect thought.
How did you become a master technician school wise? I have been working on mowers for 39 years. I’ve done it as a sideline for all these years while working a full time job but I’m looking to retire shortly and may go full time and I was wondering about certifications. Thanks for the video.
I just want to say I'm not a master technician it's a joke because this guy on Facebook blast us UA-camrs because he considers himself a master technician so now it's just an inside joke. But to be honest, you don't need certification at all. You've been doing this longer than me. You probably are more master than I am. It's just a joke I'm running
That’s shit after market carbs generally are cheaper for a reason. Always get a factory carb beach’s when it’s said and done that is what you will end up with
I'm old school and yes engine's have done some changes but most has not changed at all
you are such a gangster, thank you. Even loaded the links in the description. We appreciate you homie

I'll have to buy them and take them apart and double check that. I realize that's what they're listed for but they're both cheap ass fuel filters
Red is 75/ white is 150 mic

It’s all ready getting bad with so many parts allready on back order
Yes it's that time of year that's why I order early

Most good mechanics will have all of this in their shop, but I understand you are telling new repair people
What do you do for everything else
Spark plugs
Belts
Blades
Oil
Source local or also online?
Local if can for fast service but I buy on Amazon
China fuel line not long lasting at all
Walbro carbs and fuel line come from china most OEM is china lol
