Please help. I have a Toro TX427 Dingo with a carburated Kohler 23hp that will randomly start to bog and backfire. At first it will run just fine and very strong for a long time but then out of nowhere it will BANG AND BOG for a few minutes, then go away and come back a d repeat with no obvious pattern... I have changed plugs, air filter, fuel filter, checked the push rods and rockers, bled the hydraulic lifters, changed the oil and do so in shorter intervals, clean the carb, swaped out the carb, installed an electric fuel pump vs the original vacuum pump AND STILL having the same VERY random backfire issue..... What could it be? Electrical? Stator? Dirty fuel tank?.... Thank you for any direction!!

Isopropyl Alcohol (both 70% and 91%) are NOT the same as Gasoline. VERY different with very different characteristics. Pretty much time to go back to High School Chemistry class and pay attention this time.

I was told many years ago probably 15 that you should drain the carburetor by releasing the screw and drain that bit of gas out the drain tube. Dealer told me this and having never had a problem staring it!

Aren't you suppose to sandwich the metal gasket with the two paper gaskets. That's what I found on mine.

Hey , great video and very informative! I am hoping you'd know where i could find a oem or replacement head/ valve train housing , 3 out of 4 of the "Lappers" as you called. Them , that hold the rocker arm shaft down and in place. Ive seached endlessly and the only applicable part ib going was in poland but they won't ship to the u.s.a , please help. Thank you

you removed stuff that you didn't need too, then you fought with the fuel shut off because you didn't remove the front plastic. Please do better if you are teaching others. Also jets are not the same side to side.

I have a WGen9500 generator that only runs on propane, but it won't start on gasoline. What should I do? Could it be the fuel selector? I don't hear any sound when switching to gas.

Would it be the valves on a four wheeler if it runs great at idle but as soon as you start giving it gas it starts back firing or mis firing

Under cutting is what i did/do for irrigation repair. Once i started getting really busy, price increase. But I'm still cheaper than every one around.
