How to Beat Darkest Dungeon Without Taking Damage

I played on the non-steam version because it was easier to manipulate save files this way. One of my rules was that I was allowed to make a save point after I've gotten through a fight. I'm not that much of a masochist to restart an entire dungeon or save file the moment I get hit. I don't think it can be done that way anyway.
Aside from that the other rule is that I'm not allowed to take any physical damage. Getting hit means going back to the previous save. This means hits from regular attacks, but also traps, DoT, failed hunger checks and clearing rubble without a shovel. Only stress/horror is okay, since it's not physical.

No, you haven't gone deaf. The intro had to be pretty much entirely muted. Apparently you can't make a Kill la Kill joke in 2020 because Sony Music Entertainment will block you worldwide later in 2021 :l
So basically pray to RNGesus and if he fails you. Time travel.
The RNG element is more of an early problem when you don't have a good means of dodging yet. And yes time travel is very useful

I've watched it more times than i'd like to admit-
It's this sort of video that makes me think it's impossible to succeed on youtube these days. Something like this - with so much effort, time, and production value put into it comes from a channel with >1000 subs, while clickbait promoters essentially just make advertisements and own all the biggest channels on the site. Keep fighting the good fight, Candle. You're among the last of a dying breed; the low-exposure high-effort youtube channels.
Sub count is not really a good indication of quality anymore sadly. Been having insane growth tho since I posted this one, so that's neat. I think it goes to show that if you make good enough content you'll get somewhere eventually, even tho this isn't what I usually do on this channel so I wonder if people are gonna stick around at all.

If you are on pc and you close the game before taking damage the turn go backs to the start before doing the damage, so you can test it this way, its more easier and not wasting too much time.
