I don’t know how all that would fit in a carry on. I would love to see what type of carry on you have and your best method for packing. Thank you very much! It is fairly surprising that everything fits in a carry-on bag. I pack a small suitcase, carry-on size, and a backpack. It’s a tight squeeze but does the trick!
Omg! My husband thinks I’m nuts when I start packing my knitting. This video was sooo affirming for me! I’m not the only one who travel knits--which I knew. Have a great trip!!

Our last trip to Mexico included 2 large wips and socks for knitting on the plane…all completed except blocking. Whew! But so worth it. Another great episode!

Great episode, as always! I just arrived in Vero Beach, Fla. and can relate to the amount of time spent prepping the YARN I brought. 😊 enjoy your time in Mexico!
I use a journal for tracking knitted garments also. Have evolved to a small loose-leaf binder with 3.5” x 6.75” pages. Once finished, I can remove the pages, file & attach to the pattern to use for reference should I knit a pattern more than once. I use pencil so I can change any notes easily. For top down sleeves, I track every row and use these row count and decrease notes for the 2nd sleeve. Took several classes on Knit Companion app but found that I had to carry my iPad with me (fully charged) and tracking/ altering my knitting notes wasn’t nearly as convenient as paper. Being Canadian from Ontario, would appreciate mention of your mm needle sizes, if convenient for you. Thanks for taking the time to share your Knitting projects and travels. Just found your podcast and love it!
I'm so happy that we've found one another! Thank you for sharing how you record your knitting. I can understand the challenges of tracking online, as I go to virtual first for mostly everything else, but for knitting it's not always the most convenient way. I also like attaching the ball bands to my notes. Yes, I have to remember to share needle sizes in mm diameters. The US sizes are at the front of my brain for some reason. I'll bring back my cheatsheet with both sizes!

Thank you! I do love working with unspun yarn. The needle size I used for my blush Ranunculus was an US 8. Please note that I’ve added a little extra texture work at the bottom of the yoke.
