I can see some would like the interior (I would call it oxblood) even though it wouldn't be my choice. Some of your music is challenging to us boomers/ gammons! I enjoy your videos and will consider a visit as a customer even though I'm not too close. You seem very thorough in your prep, and if you are as honest and fair as you seem to be you will go far - don't change that business model, people like me appreciate quality.
Hi John. Thanks for your support and comments. I can appreciate why some may not be a fan. It's a pretty garish interior, but I really liked it against the more understated and contrasting Basalt Black Metallic. We'd be more than happy to carry out any work you require on your car, so maybe we'll meet in the future. Many thanks. Luke
Just come across the channel started binge watching all your episodes The attention to detail is amazing and your product knowledge as well Only thing I’ve noticed is the pot hole at the entrance 😬 Chap collecting his car and driving off 15:12 Hope he didn’t scuff his refurbished rims🫣 Keep up the amazing channel guys
Hiya. All the cars you have are gorgeous. I'm a bit of a porsche nut having restored my 911sc 1982. And a few 924s and 944s. At the moment I'm driving a cayenne V6. And love it.. I always do all my own work I get a lot of satisfaction out of it. My background is in aviation. And F1 . I'm working at Cosworth again now after moving back to aviation and cars. Just wanted to say your videos are awesome. Love to see the work you guys carry out.. kind regards Bob Rose..
Hi Bob, good to hear from a fellow petrol-head. I had a Sierra Cosworth when I was 18. It was probably my first proper performance car - loved it. Thanks for watching and the support.
Interesting video as always. The red interior looked great however I'd worry about getting tired of it....just a bit bright. Good to see you guys turning over inventory so quickly.
Hi Ron, thanks for the comment and support. I guess it might depend on how often you used the car. Perhaps every day it could be a bit much, but as a special occasion car, as these usually are now, I think it makes for a lovely place to be!
Lots of good info in this. Would love to see a tutorial on bumper cover removal and alignment mine is off a bit and sticking out on one side. Combo that with an install on radiator screens behind air slats? cheers
Love your videos. Please spray original ims area with brake clean before removing it to prevent particles from contaminating new bearing and internals. 👍
Wow, great job on the exhausts, does your guy deal with the general public, I need to get my back boxes sorted! Keep up the great videos, love seeing all these fab cars being brought back to tip top condition 👍🏻
Great video and loving all those C4s combo’s! You’ve also described exactly what my C4s sunroof switch is doing so also learned something new👍 Are they plug and play to replace? Cheers.
Hi Giles, they're plug and play, but you need to carry out a "factory reset" on the switch once installed. It's very easy and a quick google search will show you how. Failing that, feel free to give us a call and we'll quickly guide you through.
What products do you use to restore the interior? I saw you spray some seat bolsters once but now I can’t find the video. If color makes a difference on the brand I have a Cinnamon interior.
Hi Edward, we use a generic leather cleaner to spray on to the seats and thoroughly scrub with soft brushes and microfibre cloths to remove all the dirt, which is present in the form of a shiny seat, basically! Then, if required, we use colour coded dye on areas that have become discoloured. Lastly, we apply a high quality leather conditioner, which is left to be absorbed by the freshly cleaned pores of the leather, before being buffed off. I hope this helps.
Man I just found your channel and I love it!!! Love what you are doing! Would you know anyone in the Usa that does what you are doing I can’t find anybody?! Do you sell to the US? Is it expensive to ship? Thx
That red interior would look a shit load better with a black wheel! It's not the colour that makes it marmite! It's the fact that everything is THAT colour!
Red interior! Tacky! A different red, maybe but not all over the place! Some of these Porsche colourways look as if Porsche just took a black interior and spray painted everything in sight from an aerosol!
Thanks repeter555. A 40th Anniversary would be tempting, but is it worth buying over the similarly price 996 Turbo? This feels like a future video title...
@@friendsgreenporsche5234 My understanding is the X51 package + sport suspension on the non-turbo is one of the best HP/weight ratio cars. Full disclosure, I have one and it’s awesome!
As always, superb video! Love the attention to detail in every video :) BTW, I noticed the black 996 4S had a different front splitter than the other 3 cars. Is that a different option code? Or is it an aftermarket one?
That red interior is really stark. Could stand to be broken up a bit like on the door cards and dash. I can't believe Ollie is a mechanic. He could be a high end model especially with those eyes. I'm sure he is a good mechanic though. What percentage is VAT? We have sales tax here and it is by state. Usually around 8 or 9 percent. No national tax. With all you do to these cars before selling them on you must pick them up cheap and still be able to sell at market price. No used car dealers here fix their cars up before selling them. They buy them at auction, wash them and sell them as is. You take your chances.
Hi Paul, the black C4S was all of 3 days. I'd say on average one of our sales cars is on the lift being work on in preparation for sale for 1.5 days. All the best
👍🏻on the drone. I have a commercial FAA drone license. I assume similar required there. I use DJI Magic Air 2. Great drone for the price. Love your videos and I have 2002 C4S that I use to “terrorize” the B roads here! LOL Cheers
Where do you find these cars? I cannot recall the last time I saw a 996. I'm in Chicago; you see 911s every day downtown. But you don't see a 996. Ever.
I enjoy the videos and you obviously have a loyal following but why don't you answer comments & questions? Surely if your asking your audience to engage it should be a 2 way street?
the engine of the 996 designed by Mercedes and manufactured by Porsche at the time when Porsche was in financial difficulty is a disaster in terms of reliability (IMS, cracked cylinder heads, scratched cylinder, etc.) It is greatly preferable (especially if we ride and keep it) to go with a 996 turbo with its Mezger engine (designed by Porsche) much more reliable.
Mate love how u don’t cut corners. Cars always look sound and immaculate. Keep the content coming!
Thanks very much. More content coming your way!
Great to see some genuine guys who know their stuff selling some nice cars with a bit of pride and passion, Nice one fellas!
Thank you Andrew

Love these videos! I reckon you should offer an upgrade option of replaced/repainted wheel bolts, to go with the refurbished wheels.
Thanks for the suggestion, that's not a bad idea!
Hi great to see the rebuild videos back loving it
Another informative video. People can buy your cars with a peace of mind.

If you get a black with red interior with the steering wheel on the other side I am more than interested
the red interior is great!
Hi Luke, glad to see the business coming on well mate 👍 doing the badge proud.
Cheers Ian!

Lovely combination of colours for me
Love that combo. I was looking for that but bought a 997 4s Midnight with sand.
I had a seal grey metallic with full red leather interior which I loved but note the red leather ages faster than the black.
Love your videos. Please spray original ims area with brake clean before removing it to prevent particles from contaminating new bearing and internals. 👍
Great video again Luke. You should have bought a drone as discussed lol
Lovely combination
Keep up the good work!! Will definitely buy my next C4S from you
We look forward to hearing from you!
Love it! Feel like I have missed out on this car!
Cracking spec 👍
Buy and keep a turbo manual

Hi what make were the back boxes on the first car they sound great , i need to do mine
Thanks

@@friendsgreenporsche5234 Perfect thanks much appreciated!
That C4s sounds great.
Out of curiosity, how much does it cost to have the IMS/RMS baring sorted out, replaced for the problem free upgrade, please?
I am hoping to buy a 05/08 carrera next January!

Just buy a drone for those high level shoots! Much safer! Good work guys.
or cheaper get on your mates shoulders
Great video Bro'!! 👊🏾💪🏾✊🏾😎✊🏾🤟
sport seats!
Hi Luke. Are you still interested in the Cayman we discussed before christmas?. Regards, David.
Hi David, please send us an email. Many thanks
Nice vid! If you going to get a 996, how about a 40 Jarhe! X51 all the way!
The narrow body hasn't aged well and the turbo bumper and wheels look strange on a narrow body car

Need to fix your road entry ! Those pot holes 👍
It's all fixed and as smooth as a Heathrow runway now!
As always, superb video! Love the attention to detail in every video :)

That is the turbo frontlip instead of the C4S lip
Like the attention to detail and customer care. Not a fan of 996s, 997s are nice tho! What County are you in?
Hi Gio, thanks for watching. We're in sunny Hertfordshire
That red interior is really stark. Could stand to be broken up a bit like on the door cards and dash.

Hi Werner Danler. Don't say that, or I might lose him to a career path change! VAT is 20% here in the UK. Many thanks for watching.
How long does it take Ollie to do all those jobs typically? Would he spend 2-3 days on that C4S that had all the work as an example? Cheers
Hi Paul, the black C4S was all of 3 days. I'd say on average one of our sales cars is on the lift being work on in preparation for sale for 1.5 days. All the best
The red seats are nice , the red steering wheel , not so much 🤔
Next time I’m over, could offer drone footage. Cheers
Get that pothole fixed!
I intend to get an FGP drone!
@@mikepredmore9759 What, the suspension tester?? Just kidding - It's all fixed now, thankfully

I enjoy the videos and you obviously have a loyal following but why don't you answer comments & questions? Surely if your asking your audience to engage it should be a 2 way street?
Hi 93printer. I try to reply to all the comments made under the Prep Book videos.
Thanks for responding and wasn't meaning to sound critical but we love the Q&A's it makes great reading 👍
Where’s my car lol
Great insight again, but no the interior is not for me.
Contrast of interior/exterior from a distance looks great but up close (I think) its too much, don't like it.

That interior is like sitting in a mouth
drones are cheap....
