I own a 99 996 coupe and I wish I had as much enthusiasm for the car as others do. A 996 and a 911 SC are very very different cars. I think it’s all perspective and the drivers choice. Yes the 996 is a bigger water cooled car but it’s so small compared to the newer 911’s.
WELL DONE. Freaking gorgeous example of 996. Why would anyone spend time and money on an Asian import when you can have something like this around the same cost. I see 2000 WRX's blown up on Craigslist for $12,000 I just don't get it. I've seen _prime_ examples of 996 for as low as $15k USD. This car has proper pedigree from the factory gates.

My question to all 996 owners is all the love for the 996, is it mostly based on the price? My issue is mostly related to my belief that older and vintage is just plain cooler and trumps all modern, and in my view, the 996 is too big and too modern.
A 996 and a 911 SC are very very different cars. I think it’s all perspective and the drivers choice. Yes the 996 is a bigger water cooled car but it’s so small compared to the newer 911’s.
I was waiting to see it driven
Sorry next video, we ran out of time due to a few wires falling off our 356 starter motor
@@OutlawGarage No worries, have a listen to my dansk on mine...have a look in my vids.
Couldn't agree more 👍👍
Can u get magne ride ?
I’m genuinely not sure. Actually not sure I’ve driven in a car with that suspension 🤔
Model number of recaro seats??
Sorry not sure
really cool apart from the fact that its an automatic, I cant understand why you would have one of the best 'drivers' cars and not have a manual.
What wheels?
911 is my all time fave auto and the G1 996 would be my choice. What i don't get is buying one thing and trying to make it look like something else by tacking bits on. Must be getting old. 👍🖖😎🏍🦼🐶🦴
GT3 spec springs? Unless he has GT3 dampers, that is impossible lol... GT3 springs will not fit a standard 996 shock.
mmmm I'm not sure if he has the change the lot, but a good point.
Kone eibach sport kit I’m sure
