- Toyota Yaris 1.4 D4D. It's a very fuel efficent car and very good to drive on the highway, because the low rpm and the high torque from the diesel engine.

As an American, I am incredibly jealous. No small cars with diesels here.
Such a nice video! you put in all the stuff that is hard to find, awesome.
Thank you. Very usefull video. I'm going to buy this one.
Good. My yaris 1.4 D4D 2013 (i bought it used with 162.000 on jt) at 7000€, amazes me every time, with avarage consumption outside the city of 3.6-4.2 and mixed, at about 4.5-4.8.
Son Goku yes, I‘m very happy with the car and the engine. On the one site its very economical and on the other its quite fun to drive with the diesel engine. Sad that they discontinued the diesel in the new yaris models
My dad bought me a Yaris III D4D 90hps at the cost of 6000€ last year. It was a deal, because the car is great and almost new (Only 33.000 kms), but the thing i enjoy the most is the flexibility of the engine. I use the car on my way to the school, and there's a lot of traffic generally, and even if the car is great and easy to drive, when im stuck in traffic the egine starts consuming tons of fuel. The fact that you keep stopping and starting completely fucks up the engine. But, overall, it is a fantastic engine for the highway, and the engine is powerful too: torque and turbo are great. Funniest shit i ever drove around 1800 RPM - 2500 RPM. The turbo kick in makes you feel like you are in a 3.0 bi-turbo super car xD
Like a golf -09 estate 1.6 tdi
Already 220000 km with genuine clutch
Still going like crazy
Hogy tudom megcsinalni a tempomatot a yarisomba? Be van epitve a bajusz kapcsolos tempomat. De nem mukodik
This engine is little hidden gem. It's very simple modern diesel engine. It's easy to maintain and in latest iteration also super reliable. Thanks to its simple design there is not much power, quite enough for Yaris and super enough for IQ. I have little over 400k with still original turbo, dpf and clutch.
What means latest iteration? Up from which year?
Hi guys, which car would you recommend among these models:
- Ford Fiesta Plus 1.5 TDCi 75cv year 2016, 60.000km, great conditions
- Ford Fiesta Titanium 1.5 TDCi year 2016, 89.000km, great conditions, but some ruined paint on the bumpers.
- Toyota Yaris 1.4 D4-D 90cv Style, year 2013, 64.000km, great conditions inside and out the car.
I like Hyundai i20 CRDi and Peugeot 208 1.4 hdi, not the AdBlue version.
Thank you for your help.
Turbo open stock 1.8 rpm (light shift)? Remap?
which year is it?5 speed?thnx

185 60 15 on mine
How is it like to drive long distances on the motorway?
I like the yaris much on the motorway. The engine is ideal for this application and quite powerful. The car is nice and relaxing to drive up to 160 km/hm and the seats are comfortable for me. The seats are of course personal preference.
@@lukejenniches1930 thanks 🙏
Is it 2015 or 2016?
It's 2016
I have Mercedes e 220 cdi. Twice heavier and twice bigger engine. Average consumption for 130.000 km is 6.2 l/100 km.
Borko Kovacevic Very good!
Nice. For the class like this mb E class is good result. I think your Mercedes benz E 220 cdi is manual first. And second that @Luke Jenniches most driving in authobahn high speed, like 160km/h and more, and you with mb I think drive in highway about 100-120km/h . But of course car's who is about 2 ton consumption 6.2l/100km is good.
@@lukejenniches1930 Good video, nice car, what speed you driving average in autobahn?
Yuri Boyka I did the 5,2l consumption with driving in the range of 130 to 180 km/h most of the time. Consumption at constant Top Speed (around 180-185 km/h) is around 10-12l per 100km
@@lukejenniches1930 5.2l consumption at 130-180km/h range is good. Very good. And consumption at top speed 185km/h 12l not great, not terrible =D better than vw golf mk5 gti top speed consumption 40l/100km . And your's Yaris is automatic, right? I'm thinking buy older version with 1.4 d4d yaris, because lot of reading about Yaris that this car is very reliable, and this engine consumption good =) this is first your Yaris? what car you have before? maybe your older car eat lot of fuel? or expensive reapair? why buy Yaris? your choose was of concurent like Opel Corsa, VW Polo, Reanult Clio, Peugeot 208 ? and your opinion why Yaris better than concurent? Pardon for maybe too many question, just interesting. Thank you =)
What's the engine name?
Its 1ND-TV
@@lukejenniches1930 Auris 2013 its also 1ND-TV. Thanks. What was the total kilometres in the engine?
@@TiagoSProducions Its currently at around 91.000 km. No problems so far
@@lukejenniches1930 And do you put Low-Cost diesel, or Brand diesel (like BP and Shell).
@@TiagoSProducions Normally, I always go to Shell, because the engine runs noticeable better with Shell fuel than the cheap no name. Other higher brands like esso, aral or total have the same positive effect.
Avg for golf 1.6 tdi is less
Might be true, but this is much simpler engine. In my experience also much reliable.
Pero el motor tdi. No cumple la ley. Por eso gasta menos.
