@@samstjohn1994 it’s ok Sam .. I watch bits of your live streams with Alex occasionally.. 👍
Fantastic entry Rob. Three of the ones you named (Lloyd Cole, Prefab Sprout, and XTC) are Time-Tested Records for me. I think all 25 of the records listed in those videos of mine have been played 100 times. By me, that is. Ocean Color Scene is a totally new name to me; I'm going to stream some of their music. Thanks for entering and thanks for inviting your viewers to enter. They don't have to subscribe to my channel to enter. lol Subscribing is not a requirement. I think this really has been a good contest theme - everyone seems to enjoy talking about records they've played so much. The theme was suggested to me by Shawn Sicilia. I'm adding this video to the playlist - thanks Rob!
Hi Randy as soon as I saw you video explaining this idea from Shawn I knew it would be a popular contest I hope many people enter as the responses I’ve seen so far from your playlist have been very enjoyable 👍
@@robwalkerletthemusicplay Hey Rob - I'm looking for your review of Paul Weller's "66". I saw Gav's review, which was excellent. I've listened only one time so far and I think it may be my favorite Paul Weller album. Well, I've only got a couple others. lol
@@RandallWeaver hi Randy I’m taking a break from making videos for a few months , I watched Ross Goodall review yesterday I recommend you check it out Ross is really good at album reviews. Personally I’m not the biggest fan of the album people seem split on it some people love it and others are a bit underwhelmed. Thanks for reaching out gav has done a couple of weller related videos recently I’m really enjoying the cats who attack him regularly 😀🐈. Cheers Randy 👍
Full disclosure, I scrolled before watching this, making sounds like hut hum, yep , hum, yep etc until i got to Colour of Spring and thought yes good but then saw ''White City: A Novel'' to give it its correct title. A great piece of song writing, a concept album/film about a housing estate. Simon Phillips and Clem Burke on drums, Gilmore and bits of Big Country.
Hi Steve scrolling is common amongst the younger generation so don’t understand why you did it 😀.. since day 1 I loved White City and I’m not alone judging by the comments.. I’m sure yourself and your animal friends could do a comical response to randys contest .. thanks for scrolling 👍
