What you said at the end is so true for me lately…focus on the small muscles too so when you use the bigger muscles, you don’t injure yourself. Been doing a lot of barre and Pilates lately to help strengthen around my knee.
Good to know. I did a lot of training in Pilates years ago when you first started seeing it in gyms. Than it phased out and HIIT training took over but now with stress levels being so high people are going back to Pilates and Yoga to help with stress. ❤❤
I found your channel while trying to look for some low impact alternatives while healing from a chronic foot injury that I had a procedure on. I have been unable to have a lot of flexion of the foot under my weight. I have been able to modify many of your barre workouts. Those have kept me sane during this recovery. I feel like we are along the same age, and have similar athletic body types. I have always liked workouts that challenge me. These workouts have really helped me maintain the fitness level that I am accustomed to. I look forward to doing some of your other HIIT workouts once everything is healed up.
Good for you to keep moving and do what’s best for your recovery. Glade you made the decision to take care of that chronic injury. So many times we keep going and make it worse, or to the point you can’t repair the damage. Don’t rush it and I hope you find my HIIT workouts challenging enough💪🏼👍🏼. Heal up!❤️

Hi Michelle. What’s the max weight dumbbell I should be using for Pilates Burn please? I used 2 kg dumbbells as they are the lightest weights I have but too heavy for some of the moves. Off to the shop tomorrow to rectify that….😬

I used 2-3 pounds which is 0.91-1.36 kg I wouldn't go any heavier than that 😉🧡
