Interesting point. I just did a workout by HASFIT on youtube. It was about strengthening lower back mostly but one exercise was focused on abs in a way that it was to strengthen pelvic floor. Very interesting.

@Susan Sealy nope, I am polish. you can see that she is trying her best to look good with what she had from beginning. she encouraged so many people to start their journey with fitness. at her age she is looking amazing. some people just won't be skinny, because of the way they are built, but I am far away from saying that she is flabby. have a nice day :)
@Susan Sealy I don't think it was sexist at all, it was just a compliment, it's good to say something nice even to strangers. I am not sure if you can tell, but I am woman too, besides, I don't think that jilian or someone from her team perceive this comment as something innapropriate, if it was the case, the comment would have been deleted by now. I wanted to show my admiration to jilian and appreciate her hard work, which paid off and we can see the results.
@Susan Sealy dude you sound really jealous and insecure about yourself. Stop sitting at home overthinking about what you don’t have and get off your butt and start taking care of yourself. Your throwing out insults because your in internal pain. Stop it. Get off social media for a while and focus on yourself. Trust me you’ll feel a lot better

I’m nearly one year post partum. Will you please consider a future video regarding diastasis recti and exercises to help strengthen the abs? I still have about a 1” separation despite being in a deficit and performing jump rope intervals for my cardio. I still look like I’m 4mos. pregnant. 😔

This helps out so much jillian. I've been doing your workouts since I could walk into a f.y.e and buy your workout dvds probably 10 years ago. I am now a mom of two and my body had changed drastically primarily my stomach (mommy pouch with the stretch marks) I know I have it in me to get fit again so im determined. I watched your videos and created a calorie defecit and I've been eating better and well let me tell you what you put in your body plus the work really counts. Ever since I've been eating REAL FOOD and doing my at home workouts I noticed the changes. I see definition in my stomach just have to continue to work hard for that six pack lol

Thank you Jillian I have follow you for maybe 25 years since my kids were little and after putting them in bed I was doing the step workout aerobic. No just helped me with a severe back muscle problem I had fir years but also helped me to have a habit of wirking out.
Recently in combination with gym routine I did the six pack workout maybe twice a week and I had amazing results looking great for my second wedding. Now I am 50 and after a 4 vertables injury your exercise videos have helped me to recover.
You are my inspiration every day.

I'm so glad your videos here are concise, short, to the point, and also unique/effective because you really dive in to the detail-level of the movements. Saying that I should be moving my shoulders, vs pelvis is a really useful tip moreso than people who just tell you to "do crunches" or even "don't do crunches"!

Leg raises and crunches....I have never heard the movement explained like this. So simple and just compared them to how I’d usually do them and straight away felt it in all the right spots. I’m nowhere near a flat stomach yet but this will ensure I get the most out of the movements.

People can say what they want about Jillian but she knows her stuff and her workouts work , her 30 day shred workouts put me in the best shape of my life at 40. And bye incorporating her methods in your own workouts you get much better results than you get with most.
I live by Jillian . I have the buns and thighs dvd and the 6 week abs dvd. I was 190-200 now I fluctuate from 145-150 depending on my calorie intake. I feel good and I’m COVID free. Thank God.😊🙏🏾

I really enjoy all your workouts I have lost around 9 pounds doing your workouts with not a great meal plan and even not doing excersice everyday as I have ankel injury in the last two months. I won't be stopping ✌️✌️

I love your jacket! I am 44yr, 23%body fat but my abs never changed even with doing a body building show. The dietian said it's extra skin that I have. I have done alot of abs but my stomach looks the same. I am on the APOE genetic diet plan where it's control by dietian and I have maintained my weight which is a blessing. My goal is to get close to 18% bodyfat but I know my abs never change as much. I do HIIT, cardio, and strength.
Thanks Jillian! True, you can never do too many ab videos. If possible can you do one on post menopausal belly or in my case the "apron" left from having a child and then menopause. So hard to get rid of. Thanks

Wow thanks. I used your DVD'S since 2016. Your a fitness ICON. My favorite of all time. I will always look at this youtube channel for your advise. As a male I always wore a waist trainer belt since 2009. But stopped in 2020 because on the directions it said COULD CAUSE REPRODUCTIVE PROBLEMS. So I stopped with the quickness....ouch
I like what you said about breathing the way you described exhale stomach moves in, is actually how we are supposed to breath and most people don't.
