Thank you Rob the USS KIDD model I built from a Deans Marine Kit in 1/96 scale I added a few extras running lights as well moving guns and torpedo launchers .
Had an uncle that served on a corvette in the north Atlantic. Even in his last few years he could not stand cold weather. Still had four kills painted on the first stack.

DDG-993 is in the service of the Taiwan navy as DDG-1803 (Tso Ying). DDG-100 is on active duty with the US Navy. The KIDDs were named after Admiral Issac C. Kidd who died on the bridge of his flagship, USS Arizona, during the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. I was fortunate to have served aboard DDG-993 KIDD from ‘84 - ‘89. I know next to nothing about RC warships and submersibles, but is it possible to make a miniature active sonar suite for these things? That would be pretty pointless but incredibly cool and glorious to ping away with a tiny search sonar that could still be heard at some distance from the signal source.

Like from everything what has to do with military from 1938 to 2000? I wish i could build some of these model kits for self assembling but unfortunete both of my hands are shacking to much for this... so if somebody knows a company which produces some good looking model planes tanks ships etc. Please tell me. With good looking i mean detailed. Oh and they dont have to be rc ones. Thanks

I thought you were going that direction. A second torpedo shot is stuff that ya see in the movies. - fiction. I really enjoyed the video though.

Is there a real sonar in them? or just a kind of situation drama?
The sonar sound is just edited in , however a few of my RC subs has real sonar sound effects .

of the 900 uboats that left port in ww2, 700 never returned. eventually it was the destroyers and planes that hunted down the uboats.
