Originally Schwimmer's plate was loaded up too much that he failed to shovel all of it into his mouth so Matt Le Blanc agreed to take some from Schwimmer's plate to make Ross' portion smaller and more manageable. Some years later however, Le Blanc saw the bloopers reel and realised the portion of dessert he took from Schwimmer had been spat out by Schwimmer when Le Blanc wasn't looking...
