@@Surfer041 During the first time that I watched the show, I didn't find Rachel and Ross annoying, but I noticed that when I was surfing the internet for the best FRIENDS episodes to laugh, I always skipped the ones where they were arguing. And there's a lot.
Monica is the least pretty for me of the three beauties (and I do prefer brunettes).. but I cannot stand her voice when it (usually) goes high pitched & shrill..

its kind of sad really, because the Joey character never really gets in real relationships with women, and essentially all that was was a sort of cuddle nap which we now know Joey likes, but he never gets serious enough with a girl to reach that level of comfort and intimacy with them. also Courtney also has such adorable body language and expressions when the guys tease Monica about her younger years.
I think the writers did a pretty good job back in 2000 normalising bonding between guys and showing that it's not automatically gay or wrong (even if Ross had his reservations at first)
