You guys got some pretty good actors I really like the show you guys should definitely make another one
Why are these SCP movies all on different channels ? I have no idea how many proper made film stories there are of SCP as each time its 1 video on entire channel ? I understand they're probably the Creators but where can I see ALL of these proper TV movie type SCP flicks please ?
1. love the video.
2. weapons manipulations were better than most fanfic kind of stuff
3. loved the entity
4. is the idea that theyre shooting some kind of special "anomaly" rounds? caus if not the gunfire sound effects could be better

Great film scp private property but nto as amazing as overlord
Fantastic start! If I may, I have some constructive criticisms:
- night video is definitely a challenge; doing balance tests beforehand to make sure you can clearly capture what you need while still maintaining atmosphere is essential.
- one thing you may want to draw from projects like Evan Royalty is his use of masks and dubbing. A primary reason for his mask use in both Dollhouse and Overlord was to allow for seamless dubbing of dialogue to make it clearer in the final sound design. Better yet, you can experiment with using wide shots where you can't clearly see their mouths (ex. from behind) and dubbing, while using close shots of their faces to make full use of your camera's microphone if your tech is limited.
- this one is mostly me being a stickler as an infanteer myself - I'm not entirely sure if this is 'lore-appropriate' to this particular unit (I am a latecomer to SCP stuff), but the indoor room clearing of your operators needs quite a bit of work. There are a lot of uncovered angles, uncleared doors (ex. the door in the bedroom that was open but had a space behind it drove me nuts because they didn't clear it), a lot of 'lasing', and a lack of communication by radio or voice to clarify intent (ex. "small room", "step-out", "flow left/right", T-junction simo", or ESPECIALLY the entry at about 11:00 when your exterior operators didn't announce themselves to the interior operators on entry - that is a great way to have a blue-on-blue incident). A good rule of thumb for a team this size is to never break them apart; 2 is a fireteam in Canada, 4 is a fireteam in the US, and both are because by doctrine those are the smallest groups that can provide good mutual support. You wouldn't want two guys on SSE inside while another two are exterior in an unknown threat environment. Now to the resource: UFPro has a fantastic series called 'The Pro's Guide to CQB' that would clear a lot of this up. A lot of it is a question of, "If I were a defender, how many ways could I ruin their day during a room entry?", and then solving those problems preemptively while you are blocking out your action.
Keep up the solid work! :)
Damn you work as a director or the sorts?
@@lanky2592 Former amateur filmmaker, current infanteer, nowadays just got enough time on my hands to armchair others' work but not enough to make any of my own. All the more reason to keep working hard on this; it's truly a great start!
Everyone a critic but never putting out there own content lol
@@JohnSmith-ir6bc is holding the guns sideways a normal thing in the military?
@@Redditaurus You're going to have to be more specific. Do you mean like using an offset aiming device? If you literally just mean shouldering it at a 90* angle, not usually; however, I have had instructors who demonstrated resting the buttstock on top of and behind their shoulder while moving through a doorway, a technique that makes it easier to clear corners with a full-length rifle (the C7A2 has a 20" barrel, which makes it a pain in small spaces unless you monkey with your hold a bit). It isn't very accurate over distance, but it does allow you to respond to an immediate threat with point-blank snap shooting. Whatever you drill, as long as it works.
The Negative
• some of the lines were clunky (most were fine, though)
• more could’ve been done with the entity’s voice & appearance
The Positive
• those transitions were great & there was some really good camerawork
• the tension in that car search and house manifestation was done SO WELL with the music and sound
"you have trespassed on private property please leave" "what do we do???" uh leave bro. 😂😂😂
Honestly super impressive. I was surprised when this popped in my feed and I’m quite happy with it. It has a lot of potential to grow and become better and better. Hope you continue this awesome series
I'm with him, definitely has potential
Indexed by Evan Royalty!... no Connotation
Tips:
-Say your lines like you mean it
-Have better reactions
-At the combat scene where the entity tackled the soldier you should of made him have more emotion when he yelled 13:35
-Overall pretty decent but needs dubbing similar to Evan Royalty, keep up the good job!
Dude dubbing sucks ass and they don't even wear masks. Are you trying to get this dude to just blatantly copy that Evan royalty hack
I fucking love this. These dudes know their room clearing. I just love every aspect of how the carry themselves. They look like real operators.
Nice! Also this is the second SCP short film where none of the MTF operatives gets killed. Really excited for the next episode!
What's the first?
@@drfreakoman9976 SCP Ghost Town
It's so cool to see more and more SCP short films coming out!!
A bit of advice(from an audience stand point as I don't film anything ever):
1. My biggest thing during this was the voice lines. I really liked where they went and the exposition but they weren't really acted? It was slightly monotone and kinda took away from the suspense of the situation especially when they encountered the entity.
2. The combat. There felt like there was no impact within the fighting and felt too smooth and robotic. If there was more energy in it I believe there could've been a lot more done here(I still liked it tho)
3.CQB. I didntvreally mind it but the movement again felt kinda robotic and not human.
This short film was really well done and I think you used your budgeting really well! Good job! Don't take my criticism seriously as I've never filmed anything in my life and don't know how hard it is but I'm just giving a little tid bit as an audience member. All in all, it's really well done and I can't wait to see where you take this 😊😊😊
Your criticism is perfect. How else would an ameteur become a professional without constant improvement. You don't have to be able to cook a 5 star meal to tell Gordon Ramsey he burnt your food if he indeed burnt your food.
@@gmork1090 can't tell if this is sarcastic or not lol thanks ig?
Always love to see people make scp relatef films, really adds to the community.
First of all, this was truly amazing, great work!!!!! and this is supposed to become its own series? Even better!!
I think that at least someone here has already summarised what improvements could be made in production quality to make this even better,
while also keeping the costs pro episode down and manageable.
So I would like to give some ideas for future storytelling instead, that might help make this into the great SCP series we all want to see.
I'm sure that everyone here sees the similarities with Evan Royaltys SCP: Dollhouse and I guess Nathan Gagnon did that intentionally
to catch the same vibe and hype train that current SCP movies have. Which I understand and support.
But I'm hoping that this is merely the start to an actual set of unique mini-stories with recurring characters and plot, maybe even based on real on-site entries when possible.
which brings me to my next point. The setting. The Foundation doesn't exist in a vacuum, there are outer organizations with different goals and ideas out there that occasionally interact with the foundation. These 'groups of interest' could really enrich a story, especially a series, based around an MTF while being moderately easy to depict on screen.
An episode where UIU operatives are shown at the beginning being overwhelmed by an anomaly resulting in the Foundation being called for help.
Our the MTF is forced to work together with GOC operatives which causes some conflict based around differing protocols, like the execution of a harmless anomaly.
These kinds of ideas I find the most interesting regarding an actual SCP series. It could be something unique with actual in-universe lore being introduced and played with and not just another great horror story.
Civilians getting involved and memory wiped or locked up for being anomalous now themselves could also depict the morally grey side of the foundation and deliver that personal horror aspect of 'that could have been me' to the viewers. Or a scene where a D-Class gets feed to an anomaly the MTF has interacted with.
But at this point I'm just rambling, keep up the great work!! I'm excited to see what is to come.
Thank you for the comments!
At the risk of leaking to much, the next episode will explore some of the…… how shall we say…….. “themes” you touched upon.
A full length scp foundation film would probably rival, or do well above the likes of star wars, marvel, etc combined.
From what I read SCP 7302 is some kind of secret society
I really love how the search of the house was filmed in one go without any cut from 3:41 to 5:48.
It's awesome.
This is just wonderfull! I am so happy more SCP related videos are coming.
Telling stories with darkness is the cheapest effect
bro those transitions between some scenes were slick
This was amazing! Though I think the MTF should've flipped their NODs up when entering the building.
NVG Would be blinded in that light, but I guess the foundation has stuff that's different
This video is EXTREMELY underappreciated! This deserves more love! Keep up the amazing work!
Take it from a guy I know who has a friend of a friend that wears a uniform that’s hard to see and wears a flag that covers all lands that these conversations do not happen.
You infill, assess collect and extract.
Conversations and communication is looks in the eye and nods. The debrief once exfill is successful is where these open conversations happen in a room with air conditioning in another country
Apparently so I hear
You are absolutely right. The dialogue would be reduced to a minimum in a real life situation. The reason here is for the audience. People watching we’re not part of the mission brief, don’t do this for a living, and might not know why teammates are working autonomously without apparent direction. It’s one of those elements of film where you are unfortunately forced to stray from reality.
That's a good security guard
Small amount of movie magic and it'll be perfect! Good job!
Return of the SCP content, I like it
This was great. Every effort to visualize the SCP experience is appreciates. I liked the atmosphere you created.
Really awesome! The uniforms reminded me of the second Alien movie, all the soldiers have there own spin and decorations, I mean its made up anyway but I was looking at all the uniforms and all I could think of was alien. Very impressive job!❤
Old man Golem wants to cuddle trespassers. Tonight at ten.
I love live action SCP stuff. Well done utilizing a super small budget.
The laser link-up procedure was a surprising but welcome detail
Very good. Good set up. Good acting. Looking forward to the series.
awesome, can't wait to see this series grow if it continues
I'm glad there's more groups emerging for creating awesome SCP content
Tbh I don't understand how this doesn't have more views.
Stoked for the next episode. Really enjoyed this.
Great job Na it turned out really well better then I excepted. I can't wait until we can fund the next project.
Just me and the boys out in the woods hunting SLENDERMAN
Only issue was that some of the spoken dialogue was unclear. Other then that this deserves far more views then it has gotten so far. Must be the Foundation suppressing it :)
Man this was great! Please don't give up and make more episodes!
speechless...I can only say you're talented and imaginative
Just an editing tip - when they were breaching the house - if you wanted to create suspense for the viewer, having multiple cuts in rapid succession adds tension - rather than one long take.
Or, with a long cut, showing more of what they're looking at, even if its kicking open an open closet and seeing nothing, it can add some really sick immersion because that anxiety of not knowing what might be behind any door, and then the relief of not seeing anything can feel so sick. I'm loving how this is going so far 🙌
seasons and episodes!!!!???? lets gooooooo
Absolute Fire my guy.
Dude this is amazing you earned a sub plus the effects when that scp showed up were really good can't wait for more well done guys
This is phenomenal, would love to see more from you guys. Keep up the good work 💯
Loved the deep rumble in the beginning. Really isolated your hearing and set a great mood.
It's sad that most of scp fans dont knows about this!
Thats an amazing short film! I love the costumes and the actors acting very good!
SCP flics: ghost-busting in military drag. Can I assume that "Aliens" desrves credit for the genre, or is it a combination of THAT and "Stalker"?
love when the scp community and the tactical community collide
If this is just one out of many, sign me up, looked sick and can’t wait for more.
thanks Gagnon for all this work
i will enjoy to see wath you reserve us for the future
This channel needs to grow.
Dude, I know I’m 2 years late, but I really hope you see this comment. I have to say, I am extremely impressed. I see people commenting saying the acting wasn’t what they would like to see, but holy shit dude, having been in the military, specifically the Marine Corps infantry, the acting was ultra relatable and on par with the way we would interact with eachother. I felt like the acting was some of the best I’ve seen with this SCP stuff. Dare I say, better than overlord? I loved overlord to death, but the delivery of some of the lines in SOME parts were in my opinion cheesy/Corny/ what you’d expect civilians to think the military sounds like when they interact with eachother. Don’t get me wrong, not all the lines in overlord were cheesy, but you really delivered realistic lines here, especially the way they were kind of salty about Alpha 1, I loved it man. And I also loved some of the slightly light hearted funny/slightly comical aspects to some of the guys dialogues and movements. The tactics were some of the best I’ve seen in the SCP short films, weapons manipulations, all that was fantastic. With the realistic lines, and the tactics, and the way the characters felt, you must have had some Military dudes on set? Infantry guys? I feel like you nailed it. And was that a feather in the one dudes helmet? I’ve never seen that before but I thought that was a great, unique touch, I liked it lol. For the lighting, I don’t know if it was purposeful, or due to lack of camera equipment or whatever, but I actually liked the way the dark was SUPER dark, especially when they were first rolling up to the property line, it felt so real, that’s what the night looks like, I felt like it was great, I know some people probably didn’t like that and saw it just as part of low budget, but I thought it added more realism. I’m telling you man, I’m thoroughly impressed. I hope I get to see more from you. Thanks for that. Great job.
Thanks so much for the comments! We did have two Army Rangers on set as our tactical advisors and they did an amazing job getting things to look realistic. We are working on our next project right now and hope to bring an even better film to everyone this coming . Again thanks for the support!
Good start. Your crew will continue to improve the more you make! Keep it up!
Love the video and the effort man, cant wait for more!
This amazing, cant wait to see more!!
Talk about one hell of a home defense system that would be. Awesome work too all of you!
great work guys, some critiques but others have already covered them, all in all this is a good idea executed well. :)
cant wait to see what you're cooking up :D
awesome short film/episode!
13:02 its a lil creepy but still love it !
I can't believe I just found this after a month after its release. However it seems everyone here has their opinion and I agree with some of their points like the acting, tactics and effects. But I wouldn't blame you.
Here are the things I liked.
1. The gear is good. Love the modded M4s and the MP7.
2. I've watched a some of these SCP military short films. This is the first one where non of MTF died lol.
3. The anomaly seems terrifying ngl and the voice acting is good.
4. The dialogue of the operators to each other is fine. Especially the two masked dudes while searching the car.
Good film here. Looking forward to see more!
Now I know exactly how to get an entire SWAT team the FUCK outta my house in sixty seconds flat ! Thanks !
7:38 Not calling up a possible Entity/POI? That’s coming up in the AAR.
YOOO, this is sooo cool you guys deserve much more views
Great short. As anomalies go, this one's pretty mild.
It was to start off with. We are hoping to up the stakes on this next project
How does this not have more views, this is amazing!
Really enjoyed this. Once the 30 seconds were up, I was like: *No, team! GET OUT!* 😱
That was a nice, Twilight Zone, classic ghost story, episode. Love it!
Keep it up boys! Making the O1 Council proud.
This is honestly a lot better than I thought it'd be. I'm a fan of the voice lines between the two guys when they were searching that car, it adds a little bit of funny to a serious situation without overdoing it. I also really like the one guy with the feather on his helmet, that little unique thing about one character adds a sense of favoritism. It bring major Ghost from Call of Duty vibes, he's just not as cool as Ghost. I'm also a fan of the editing here, other lower budget short films go for minimal to no editing whatsoever, this was a nice change.
Much appreciated! We where incredibly fortunate to get the opportunity to work with some awesome talent on this project.
Great film ngl the 2 with the nods still on was kinda funny but all in all great film, and amazing acting
That was freaking awesome!?👍🏼💯
Nicely done! hope to see more!
I've been watching SCP vids for hours and this is the best one. THUMBS
Thank you for the support!!
This is really well made and I'm surprised it doesn't have more views.
Some light critique: Boots. Seeing sneakers in a video like this can immediately crush the immersion for some people. It's hard to take these guys as spec ops when they're wearing sneakers. Night Vision. If there is even ambient lighting, NVGs could be blindingly bright. Whenever there is lighting, pull the goggles up. It creates the illusion that the goggles actually work. Last, head and gun on a swivel. As you were approaching the house, you seemed way too casual. A thick tree line, cars, other houses, etc, are all cover for potential enemies. Very intentional action to cover all risks and minimize liability would vastly increase immersion. Other than those, great job guys
The guys in vans were actual prior service rangers lol
And they both had real nods on
Bruh. There needs to be a video streaming site for SCP Foundation content like this. =O
oh my god.
*it's finally happening.*
**happiness noises**
In all seriousness though, this is so cool, maybe some muzzle effects and added recoil would be a suggestion. With like the grabbing from the creature and the falling down be a bit more hands on too I guess.
But other then that this is great and excited to see what episode 2 has to come.
Totally rad dude. Great job!!!!!!!!
This is awesome guys keep up the good work
Great work guys! Looking forward to your next video.
My only critique is the costume design, but everything else, especially the lighting is exceptionally well done
very well made hope you continue the series
Stay tuned for the next installment soon
VERY GOOD. KEEP the good work. Search the garage the up floor, the basement, the surrounding because you may not know but you are all dead. have someone for the military coach you. BUT CONTINUE. HOURRA
Seriously though, guys like Evan Royalty or Modern Knight Productions should be hired by Fox or Paramount to make a 3 hour scp film
The inspiration of works :)
Great short film but I would recommend proper use of night vision since they all had it on in the house which would be blinding if they saw light, and clearinghouses would also be a helpful tactic to learn because it was very iffy. Great film, cant wait for the next one!
Thank you for the input. We unfortunately did not have covers for the replica NVGs two of the actors where using which in hind sight they should have flipped them up.
The other two actors had actual PVS-31s with mods done to the covers to allow the night vision the transfer from out door to in without the blinding effect you mentioned. A small detail which should have been picked up on.
Honestly the whole "if you're wearing NVGs light will blind you" isn't accurate anyways. Most modern NVGs have auto-gating which would pick up on ambient light and adjust it accordingly. I think the NVGs were handled just fine personally, plus the ambient light from the tubes reflecting on their eyes looks creepy AF
@@ExeterFFFF I mean I’ve used nvgs before and I can understand that some are better than others, but I feel as some couldn’t afford soem over others. Understandably this is a short film but still, just my opinion.
Nice, while waiting for Evan to post another SCP film, I get this banger! Pretty good for a first.
This is great stuff 🤙🏼
Dope! I want more! They need to have more scenes. Like, WTF happened to the researcher(s)? Initial manifestation(s) with homeowners,? Are they the cause? Was it a cult thing? WTF!?!? LoL I love it all, though.😅
We will definitely be exploring this anomaly further in upcoming projects 👍
you know its a passion film when you can hear the cameramans footsteps XD
Exactly
Regardless well made and the tactics and clearing teqnique is well practiced if not ingrained into you
When the house asks you to leave and it's a scp. Do listen and make a roadrunner. Go.
GREAT JOB!!!
Now all we need is for someone to make an x-com like version of SPC.
Sweet.
A rendition of what they see thru NV would be a nice touch.
seems like a documentary than a tv show, maybe have the cameraman almost seem like a character to make it feel more "grounded" and "real"
Amazing production! keep it up!
Good job guys!!
now this is CONTENT!
Thanks 🙏
Well done lads!
This was really awesome. love seeing content about the MTF from SCP. Definitely clean up the audio design and get some VFX on those gun shots. I was confused because there was no visual to what i heard.
Night time shooting is tough. Try to experiment with lighting so things dont look tooo dark. Overall super fun watch. Hope to see more!!
