@@andyjacobs7010 yeah the tactical decisions were shit when the outside group were standing waiting for the inside group they should have gone into all round defence and there was no spacing in the groups

Finding yourself at a random field in the middle of nowhere with people you've never met, after being told to meet at another location is a great setup for another good SCP movie
I've always been interested in scp and that stuff, I've watched overlord like 5 times. Sparked off a dream of mine to actually bring scp to the big screen, either in separate movies focusing on 1 scp each, and then at the end, have the foundation just come in, all mysterious, and contain, still want to make is a reality.
I'm a huge SCP fan so this is great news for me "I don't recommend searching up what SCP is" That's a great way of summarizing just how large and complex the SCP universe is
That the field got mowed is a good thing, because it's on the compound and if there's ONE thing about compounds that's almost parallel across all of them, it's the fact that until things go ballistic, they seem perfectly normal. So it makes sense that the field would've been cut and baled. In particular because the leader went to light the effigy, and got honked out - so it all went down pretty fast.
The room clearing part was so stunning. First, I wonder how long you guys need to practice for that scene and turns out you guys make it perfect in a limited amount of time. Well done!

Gas mask
@@JohnSmith-dv4yo yea i tried wearing a gasmask its so much harder to breathe in them
Let me tell you, a full face respirator mask is way harder to breath trhrough the those paper masks.

bro that shot where you fling away the pin of the grenade - best shot in the movie, really cool stuff. In general i am very impressed by the overall product. Especially the lighting. A lot of dark shots, very hard to find the perfekt balance and you guys pulled it off very nicely.

I would too
SCP overlord was a fantastic interpretation of I would imagine a live action Scp universe would be, overall good video.

Man my nerd inside flourished watching this film. I’m huge into this sort of thing, and it’s so rare to see content made beyond stuff on the wiki. This film and the others Evan royalty did were so cool, and it’s sick that you were able to get into one.
To be honest, this SCP short film is my favorite, for now at least, when/if they make another one
Dollhouse was really cool too, can't wait to the next release ^_^
Is no one gonna bring up that Military Advisor?
"It's like I just gave birth to you" lmao I like him
Yeah dude his speech was really good too
I was watching SCP:Overlord and was like “Is that my boy Drewski?!” And spent a solid ten minutes trying to digure out if it was you.
Really enjoyed this. I would love to see more. Do a Mole Rat sequel and go down those holes :)

This film was actually fire, I am a big SCP fan and a big MILSIM fan so it hit different. On top of that it was very well recorded and written, cool to see characters in a horror movie who don't act like idiots and the tactics were solid. Edit: The fact that y'all had some real firearms and a military guy on set to handle the weapons safety just adds to it, that guy was cool as hell.
"not even a million subs"
*that statement didn't age well*
In that scene where the guys neck got cut and you fell down, it looked to me when I first watched it (and still does) like the guys whose neck was cut fell out of the doorway and onto the floor, as if he stumbled out of the room or something. Either way, it actually came out pretty good imo
As someone who's been on multiple film sets, it is always exhausting to film. Mostly because they are really long days 14-16 even 20 hour days.
what films
When you realize that a passion project had better firearm safety than a Hollywood film set.
I've been to a number of movie sets and I can confirm that this is exactly the atmosphere on set
Everybody is amazing in person, everybody is a proffessional and very interesting to talk to
It must've been a blast working on it
Everybody gangsta till the person who said “Oi” in the woods never came out when they started filming.

We've been trying to reach you regarding your car's extended warranty..
The film was so good, no jump scares and the characters are making rational decisions.
No jumpscares because you can't creep up on an MTF, and rational decisions cause they're trained. I loved every bit of it.
Aside from countless bad tactical decisions, yeah, it was pretty good.
@@andyjacobs7010 yeah the tactical decisions were shit when the outside group were standing waiting for the inside group they should have gone into all round defence and there was no spacing in the groups
I chalked some of the weird tactics up to dealing with SCPs though the part where all their backs are facing the door and they slow turn when it opens stands out in my mind as questionable.
"How did the COD goggles fit onto the mounts?"
Well since ur filming SCP maybe someone did used some eldritch, dark magic shit.

I just rewathed this movie for the 3rd time. It's so unbelievably good & creative. Cool to see your behind the scenes POV of it.
Finding yourself at a random field in the middle of nowhere with people you've never met, after being told to meet at another location is a great setup for another good SCP movie

Your avatar just gives it away how cool it was!
We need a step by step tutorial on how to flip a grenade pin like a badass
Well we can help you then

Dude I saw this hours after it released and I loved it awesome to know you were in it!
I'm a huge SCP fan so this is great news for me
"I don't recommend searching up what SCP is" That's a great way of summarizing just how large and complex the SCP universe is
That the field got mowed is a good thing, because it's on the compound and if there's ONE thing about compounds that's almost parallel across all of them, it's the fact that until things go ballistic, they seem perfectly normal. So it makes sense that the field would've been cut and baled. In particular because the leader went to light the effigy, and got honked out - so it all went down pretty fast.
Didn't even realize that plastic was for the blood. Fit perfectly with the weird SCP vibe
The grenade pin flick was actually badass and the second I saw it I was like “Holy shit, that was badass”
Those naps where everything just kinda dies down are the absolute best
Because no one want's to die on a movie set if only he knew.
The room clearing part was so stunning. First, I wonder how long you guys need to practice for that scene and turns out you guys make it perfect in a limited amount of time. Well done!
I love how people come together to reach a common goal

Tbf the grenade pin Flick makes good sense. You toss the grenade and then ignore the pin until you have your rifle back up and ready to engage. If you needed to you could then just leave the ring where it is and open fire, dealing with the pin after combat
dude, i watched scp-overlord and when i saw the italian helmet and that meme patch - i started questioning if it was you, because of the facial features through the mask
this is poggers, good job getting that grenade pin stuck on your finger. just don't get the grenade stuck on it.
