Still have my orginal sash and just recently joined the National Assciation of Eagle Scouts. I'm 80 years old and still hold fond memories of Scouting days!
It does get a little getting used to. The tap outs I saw and experienced at Tomahawk Scout Reservation 1975-1979 and the Ordeal I was part of in 1980 were tailored to the region, as the camp existed only since 1953. Pretty well rehearsed.
Bc i seen Unami Lodge One do the Orginal ceremony at Resica falls I don't see the three tests one circleing the brotherhood tree, climbing up the hill and tig breaking placing in council fire.
It seems to me from what ive witnessed the secrecy of the order is still quite safe. The videos here capture but a small part of the ceremony with no essence. Only those who have witnessed and have gone through with the order of the arrow years ago know what I speak of.
I did this in the Indianhead Council back in 1980, being selected for Ordeal in 1979 at Tomahawk Scout Reservation. I have no recollection of any of t his taking place. The ceremony preceding the call out made sense for the region. My ordeal was nothing like this, and yet I passed it. This stuff must differ from lodge to lodge. I thought that secret societies were prohibited by BSA. So, what gives? This an Eagle Scout speaking.
This is one of the older ceremonies from when our order was being formed in the early years. I would say this ceremony was used around the time of 1920-1930ish. That’s why it’s so different from what we see today.
EGe leendil They update the ceremonies every so often. Like they changed the Brotherhood ceremony a while back. I am guessing it is just a matter of making things new.
Medeu was the original spelling of a principle no longer used. Meteu and Medeu are two separate principles. Kittakima and Sakima are also two no longer used Principles as they were combined to form Allowat Sakima.
It's the order that CONTROLS the boy scouts. This is all Masonic webs including Boy Scouts. Notice the skirts these boys are wearing. It's for their humiliation / sado-homo-sexual rituals they don't video tape, but to set order in the organization through blackmail.
NORMALIZATION OF IGNORANCE BSA National controls the Boy Scouts, the OA is simply a service supplement. Also the clothes are part of ceremonial regalia. The guide to safe scouting wouldn’t allow what you were talking about

According to OA policy, this shouldn't be here.

Michael Abbott no
He skipped 50% of the legend
Why would you post this on a public site? I guess nobody respects the secrecy of the order anymore.
Krypton Son Because this is no longer the current ceremony that is in use.
The Angler Chandler Which is why it should be kept More secret. Do you know why it was changed?

NORMALIZATION OF IGNORANCE Not everything is a conspiracy
What terrible pronunciation of the the principles
