- EPISODE #8 of what will be a long journey on this Southern Illinois 8 acre property investment! It looks much more like a JUNK YARD, but we (kind of) think we know what we are doing, LOL! This is real world real estate investing and not some scripted flip or flop hype show! Join us here for this 8th episode and many more to come as we begin to tackle this investment property cleanup. Mrs. Kapper will be working on salvaging stuff from the old homesite, the chicken coop, old barn boards, rustic tin and smaller items, and Curtis Rogers (the new land owner) will be working all of the logistics for selling items, working with scrappers and scrap yards, dumpsters, transportation of certain items, and all other land administrative items and I will be helping out with the dirty work, bringing in my machines!! Woo Hoo!! Doesn't this all sound like fun!! Of course it is CERTAIN to be another life learning experience, but hey, hopefully Curtis can make some profit on this one when it is all said and done and we can bring you a very fun, yet educational special DIY series on how all of this stuff works. Thanks for joining us, and please, if you enjoy this kind of content, Like and Share it for us to help us grow our audience and Kapper team here on our channel, we'd greatly appreciate that! Good work with the Bobcat pulling out the Deutz!
yeah I had many doubts along the way! LOL
Wow...Kapper, You're pretty handy with that machine! Well Done ';-)
ConquestN98858 he’s like a Artist with his brush! He runs that thing beautifully
Have you thought about making an attachment for the mini for a trailer hitch and a d ring for hooking a chain to? The ability to pickup trailers from the hitch would be useful in a lot of places so worth the effort to make and the chain hook points is just a bonus as it lets you pick things up without the bucket blocking the view.
I'm thinking he might after this project!
Are any of those Internationals being parted or junked , I'm looking for 5 or 6 of those tall bullet shaped clearance lights like the wrecker has. The other International had them too but couldn't see what it was , I'd be interested in them if the price was right. Thanks and your doing a great job there !!!
This is like Christmas- never know what you will find! I know you have been busy, but I posted a short review of the M4 you might be interested in :)
i am weting on the nexs episode wishes from the nederlands
You should use a bigger chain so you don’t crack or bend your stick cylinders while pulling.
Hey Kap, This series has been cool. What is the average price on the stuff Curtis is selling? All looks fairly old. I bet all those tires will be a big recycle fee as well.
He's asking bare minimum, just trying to get something to offset all the dumpsters for the trailers and like you said, tire fees.
These videos are cool,is that a real dodge power wagon?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍
Great series! Curious, how much did the Deutz sell for?
2800
@@kapperoutdoors oh wow! Higher than expected
👍👍👏👏🍺🇬🇧
Surprised you haven't welded some hooks onto the bucket.
I dont think he's had time 🙂 but I bet he will if he does it again!
Try to Start it pleas
you guyz goning to keep the property as it is or build on it???
Once we finish getting it cleaned up it will be for sale, thanks.
I’ve never seen a Deutz tractor before
Me either and I grew up farming!
@@CedarBluffRustics It's a German brand but they tried getting a foothold in the US market by buying out the tractor/combine division of Allis Chalmers in 1985. The project ended with huge losses after only four years, mainly because the exchange rate dropped a lot during that time. At least that's what a 2-minute web search turned up.
We had a few around here in the Shenandoah valley in Virginia
My father in law had one- its the first tractor i learned to drive
What was the brand name on that backhoe
Bob cat
@@JohnnyBarger-sb3yh one they sold?
Dynahoe 160

Any info on that Deutz tractor like deos the engine turn.
Most often the exhaust gets rained in and the engines rust or even freeze and bust from the inside out. Rats and mice chew the wires and build nest and their urine corrodes everything. the tires get dry rotted. its would be cheeper and better to go to a farm auction and buy a running tractor. That stuff is scrap.
@@thecollectoronthecorner7061 just for reference this engine is air cooled and the cylinders come right off if you can get to the rod bolts and you don't even need to do that if not rusted.
Not sure. The buyer is using it for parts since they are hard to find so there must be some good meat on the bones yet!
is that a 10006 or a 13006 , good tractor here in europe
@@woodennecktie 130 06
there are many veiculos in this yard probably it is money in your pocket
Scrap metal here is an all time low unfortunately. What little $ Curtis does make will be spent on many dumpsters for the trailers and tire fees. Just glad to see them gone for sure!
The dumpster is needed badly.
No doubt man! Can't wait!
Guess the old owner ended up going to jail for a little longer than he wanted to and fell behind on his mortgage because he was incarcerated. Long story short, the bank took quick advantage of that situation and foreclosed on him and auctioned off everything to the highest bidder aka the boss of the guy operating the excavator. Could you imagine if you were falsely accused of something and you had to serve time over those false accusations all while your possessions are getting dragged off your property by heavy machinery? All just to get scraped for pennies on the dollar. If this is the case, I bet he’s going to be a little upset when he gets out while trying to track down the stuff taken from him.
The previous owner passed away 6 years ago. The property and belongings were aired to his kids. They sold the property as is with everything on it. Not sure where your information is coming from or just pure speculation.
Curtis I had mentioned if this were the case meaning it’s one possible scenario. I’ve seen what I had stated actually done before and your video reminded me of it that’s all.
@@theautodidacticman_ oh gotcha... that would be a bad deal if that happened to someone though .
You need to dig a burn hole
Eventually. There's restrictions now until the vehicles and machines are gone.
Šta je ovdje bilo?
Your new at running a trackhoe
