The atmosphere of how almost every corner has an army of spectators and how they programmed some photographers to be waiting in the track to get a photo and run really makes it a great course! Really brings a rally feel to it all, rather than just being a dirt surface circuit.
And also the spectators staying on the track and running away when the car comes, a huge attention to detail!
I wish PD will bring that detail back in the next GT game.
Exactly, most of racing game are like... there's no human population.

I know this game have dated graphics nowadays but damn, GT 4 is gorgeous.
Having grew up on the PS1 myself, this graphics will NEVER be outdated to me
iirc GT4 is one of the four PlayStation 2 videogame rendered in 1080i, so the detail is a given.

@@_darky. I just really enjoy looking back on footage from old PS2 games. It's what I grew up with. GT4 was a huge deal at the time. There is no denying the graphics were insanely gorgeous on what is now a severely outdated system. It holds up very well even by today's standards.
If my PS2 were still working I would be playing this game right now.

@@_darky. you're talking about Gran Turismo on the PS1? I tried getting back into that not too long ago. The graphics are wayyy too grainy and framerate is choppy. Couldn't do it. Same with GT2 which is hard to say because 20 years ago that game was unrivalled in the racing category.
And to think at one point in time those games were considered cutting edge graphics. It hurts my eyes looking at it now. But Gran Turismo 3 and 4 I'll gladly revisit if given the opportunity.

Man, everybody is crazy here... Tell me, do you play whith a wheel/pedals or pad ? Cause you're dammn good. What was that perpendicular drift xDDD Amazing. And also ,actualy getting again into GT since childhood, just ordered a used g27 to play Richard Burns (the 20004's Dirt Rally) and I was wandering if Gran Turismo is really use advantage of a wheel, in this car, obviously but in generals I mean, pariculary GT mode.
