I always felt like I was being sold something whenever I played. But in this game, all I had to focus on was mastering the cars and getting all gold!

What's interesting to me is that these cars all have interiors, but in 5/6 they don't. I get that the interior is low poly but that didn't stop PD from keeping the interior of the Prowler.

Have to admit GT4 has aged incredibly well. I still play this and GT3 quite fluently. It gives a lot of the modern racing sims a run for their money.

Laatikkomafia in never had trouble with that. Using Manual gears really help a lot as you can lock it in 2nd gear.

The way the driver moves his hand around the steering wheel is kinda weird though still satisfying to look at
You can tell the game wasn't optimized for first person view.
The drivers arm movement in GT4 was a full 900° or 1080° rotation unlike in GT5, GT6 and GT Sport
