They're called coffee breaks because they give you headaches much like caffeine does....they also break your sanity.
It's coffee break because you will pass it with any time.
yeah, this is more stressfull instead of defend ur position or overtake the opponent while racing
It wasnt that stressful if you just focus and play them quietly just like when you guys are in classes.

I love to see how many details this game had. A 180° steering wheel, even without cockpit camera. I have a Xbox and even today, all Forzas has only 90° steering wheel.
Don't forget pit stop animations, glowing red brake discs.. This game was way ahead of the time.

I like how the name always implies that these are meant to be easy, relieving breaks from the action, and yet they are the most difficult and frustrating parts of the game.
I have gotten a gold medal from all licenses, multiple times, constantly beating my older records by tenths or hundreds.
I have 100% completed the game.
Yet I can't get gold from 4:10.

Anyway, i managed to get Gold. But it cost me many Hours, many rage......and my racing wheel.
I passed 4 hours doing that coffee break and finally I got it
Laatikkomafia in never had trouble with that. Using Manual gears really help a lot as you can lock it in 2nd gear.
Did it, have the replay, pain in the ass. Also why is the car red? It's supposed to be brown or something

This game was way ahead of its time I remember playing it nearly every day after school such a quality series
Have to admit GT4 has aged incredibly well. I still play this and GT3 quite fluently. It gives a lot of the modern racing sims a run for their money.

The satisfying little noises the menus make, the steering animation in convertibles, the upbeat and smooth music tracks... This game is masterclass.
Forza is clunky and poorly executed in comparison. I always felt like I was being sold something whenever I played.
But in this game, all I had to focus on was mastering the cars and getting all gold!
Lol exactly, it's somehow so funny that Gran Turismo had a 900° steering animation in 2004 while it took literally 18 years for Forza to finally implement this.

Everything about Grand Turismo -especially music and UI- is so clean and relaxing.

The way the driver moves his hand around the steering wheel is kinda weird though still satisfying to look at
You can tell the game wasn't optimized for first person view.
The drivers arm movement in GT4 was a full 900° or 1080° rotation unlike in GT5, GT6 and GT Sport

What's interesting to me is that these cars all have interiors, but in 5/6 they don't. I get that the interior is low poly but that didn't stop PD from keeping the interior of the Prowler.
